Real Real was an excellent website; very responsiveReturn was quickly processedRepresentatives were polite & filled through

I was a customer, purchase a lot expensive items , and I had one issues with return , it’s was more than weeks of processing time , I called and waited, finally I file dispute on *** because I need my money and I can’t get any response when it’s all going to be finishedSo I did get my refundI try to purchase an item today and my account is blocked and I am not a customer anymore, all though they didn’t cancel my membership which I pay for, response from real real was that it’s because I file disputeWell it’s great company, awesome reputation but I can’t do anything to them even used my right to disputes if they lateIt’s just wrong that despite all that bad reviews and cases they had filled against them by other customers I give them a chance and buy there product , but on return I got such horable treatment!

There are numerous accounts here of The Real Real selling fakes, and if you want more, go search The Purse Forum for the company's name + fakeNot only do they sell fakes, they re-list fakes after they've been notifiedDisgustingThey should be criminally investigated for knowingly trafficking counterfeitsI made the mistake of consigning some authentic goods of my own, under the assumption that they would list them for comparable prices to the ones the list the same items for all the timeHow wrong I wasThe is that work there can't tell the difference between an evening gown and a maxi dress, and I ended up with less than $for a $Alexander McQueen dressNow they spam me every few days, hungry for more consignmentsEvery time I get a consignment email from them, it reminds me to warn more people awayThese people want your items to sell in bulk to line their pocketsThey will do anything to make even a single dollar, and they couldn't care less about the value of your items, much less whether they're real or fakeSteer clear of these devious people!

I sent The Real Real a Balenciaga Motocross Giant iPad Case which I originally purchased at Barneys for over $several years agoI shipped it in November of in perfect condition, and they JUST NOW SOLD IT on April 6th!! They listed it originally at $175, but said they would never go below 50% offInstead they sold it for $(over 50% off), leaving me with a measly $commission! Terrible customer service! I didn't receive orders, so I called and a woman gives me an attitude, like it's my faultI spent thousands with this company and that's how they treat their clients? Never againI hope I get my refund!

I recently purchased a pair of diamond earrings and a ring from this company totaling over They sent it via *** ** *** *** messed the delivery up tremendously leaving the order to be be sent back to the shipperI called the Real Real to explain this mwhile I was the pilocation *** gave me, only to be met with a nasty attitude from their rep on the FridayI tolerated this girl and she promised to send me an email confirmation that my package would be re-routedI never recieved this emailSo I had to call back on MondayWhen I called back to make sure the order was actually coming like the first rep I spoke to on Friday had promised, I was given half information and an even worse attitude when I was trying to explain to *** (her name), that what she was reading to me was incorrectShe then cut me off and through down the phoneI insisted to speak with a manager and told no, they would have to call me backI then hung up and called back to speak

Twice I purchased items from this business, a handbag and a suede jacketBoth on final saleThe company states you can re-consign final sale itemsI had the items for a few months but never wore themI was waiting to have several items to send in for consignment at one timeThe company said they would not accept either of these items (two different occasions) because of excessive weaI never used either item and they were in exactly the same condition as purchased which was listed as very good condition on their website when I purchased

I paid $1,for a handbag that was advertised as authentic Coco ChanelThe advertising even contained a picture of the serial number on a tag that was sewn into the inside of the handbag When I received the handbag, which was a Christmas present for my wife, there was no serial number whatsoever anywhere in, on or around the handbagTheRealDeal customer service department tried to dupe me into believing that there was a serial number affixed to the bag, claiming, "We have verified the serial number is on a hologram sticker placed at an interior corner." However, there was no trace of any sort of serial number affixed to the bag, inside or outsideI have disputed the charge with my credit card company and filed a complaint with the Attorney General's office in the state of Arizona, where I liveThe bag is a counterfeitTheRealReal is an unethical company with absolutely no concern in even the slightest degree for the welfare of their customersThey are greedy and avariciousCaveat emptor certainly applies hereOnce they get your credit card information, you are ***, blued and tattooed

I sent a pair of *** Sunglasses for this company to consignThey sent them back to the wrong address stating they didn't meet their standardThey were returned back by fedex to this company on May 26, I have been requesting these sunglasses since May and they continue to provide me with excuses and to no avail I still haven't receivedAll I get is oh we are going to ship them back but I have not receivedI think they outright stole them and they are just hoping I will go away

Buyer beware they aren’t capable of authenticating all of the items stated

I read an article online related to highend goods in the market place which states in general out of items sold online are knock offs from China they have very good versions these days even with tags
