This case has not been resolved. [redacted] & [redacted] prepaid Thrifty Propane $1,940.79 for a tank ($855.42) & propane ($1,085.37). Delivery is free. Thrifty Propane cashed the check but canceled and rescheduled multiple appointments for delivery, then a driver came out at a time not scheduled stating that he could not set the tanks because he had the wrong truck. Mr. & Mrs. [redacted] asked for their order to be canceled & their money back. Thrifty told the [redacted]'s they would receive a check from Thrifty for the $1,940.79 by July 15,2015. Repeated phone calls to Thrifty did not get the refund, so they rescheduled the tank delivery, and now Thrifty Propane is demanding an additional $99.00 to deliver the tank because they already have $1,940.79. We do not want Thrifty to steal any more of our money - we just want our $1,940.79 back. Please help.

the customer called and rescheduled the drop of the tank for 92415.
On 91515
the customer called and rescheduled the drop of the tank for 92115.

the customer filed a credit card dispute for the $99.00 rescheduling fee. Customer Service contacted
the customer via voicemail and indicated that they are no longer on the schedule. If customer wants to be put
back on the schedule for the drop of the tank, they must mail in a check for $99.00 for the rescheduling fee.
Customer called back to Customer Service and indicated they just want their money back, cancelled tank order
and to refund the returned trip fee of $99.00 which is $1841.78 a total refund is being requested.
At this time we are still awaiting as to whether they are filing another credit card dispute as that will determine the refund balance.

I am rejecting this response because:
I did have to call another company because thrifty couldn’t deliver the propane.  If Thrifty delivered as promised I would not have needed an emergency fill.  Therefore, you do owe my the $150.  I will calling daily to get this money.  I am not sure what you don’t understand You can not even admit to not being able to provide the propane.  I hope the check was fedexed as requested .  You are wasting my time.

Today is the 8th business day of the 10 -15 business day delivery time - we are delivering with in these terms.

We are not responsible for the ER fill from another company because they could not deliver to you fast enough either.  A refund check has been mailed.  You do own your own tank and are welcome to call another gas company if our delivery terms dont fit your needs.

our customer notes reflects the following events:
Mr. C[redacted] has two accounts with Thrifty Propane. There was a phone call on January 10, 2013, a request to fill @ 1.099, tank...

was at 20%. The ppg quoted on this date was for both accounts. The 1000 gal was @ 30% and the 500 gal was @ 40%. The check to the driver was for both accounts.
On June 18, 2015, the customer called and ordered @ 15% @ 1.039 ppg, 7% tax, 19.94 hazmat 6.99 cc charge to credit card on file.
On July 7, 2015 customer called and indicated she was quoted 0.899 ppg.
On July 10, 2015 customer wanted to know what the status of the ppg overage.
Per Customer Service Manager, the 200 gallons only were through the answering service ppg quoted was correct.
We are continuing our investigation of this matter, which will include retrieval of the phone call, during which the initial order was placed on January 10, 2013.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  The 1000 gallon tank I purchased from them will hold enough LP to get me through nearly an entire year, so as long as they deliver to mesoon now, I will not require another delivery until next Spring or even Summer.I am pleased with the decision Thrifty has made.  I do hope that they can let me know approximately how long it will be before this delivery beforewinter.  I feel I have enough for another 3 weeks.

Thrifty paid our driver to arrive to deliver to the customer on 12-26-16. There is a lock on the tank. Driver has left a voicemail to the customer to have the lock removed by the company who locked the tank before Thrifty can fill it. Thrifty has paid their driver for the time and fuel to get to...

this customer's house to deliver timely, but could not fill due to the lock. Thrifty will need the customer to show the proof of tank ownership before Thrifty can fill the tank.

The manager called the consumer this morning and they delivered the propane. He appreciates the Revdex.com and the issue is resolved.
