Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me even though it took over a month to resolve

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2016/01/19) */
We regret the customer's unsatisfactory experience
Thrifty issued a refund to the customer on 12-21-for a full amount of $1,

Thrifty delivered gallons to the customer on 12-21-

In response to *** ***s conplaint, Thrifty states that the initial order was placed on 1/27/and a delivery was completed on 1/12/2018, within business daysThis a pre-buy account, so the contracted delivery window is business daysThe delivery was completed within business days of the orderThrifty Propane delivered within terms of its agreement with *** ***

We came out to delivery on the 14th business day, this is within the terms of the prebuy agreement. Customer did not have to call another company for an ER fill - we could have done it for her. Customer did file a dispute with their credit card company for the $case

I am rejecting this response because:
I called on and 01.11.2018. I left a VMM on and no one ever called us back if required, phone records will back this up that calls were made on both of these dates. To state that you do not have record of these phone calls is convenient, as it does not deny we called but does state you do not have record of the calls. As for the rest of the information, that is fine (a customer calling and should call when levels are down below 'x'%, however, the true issue is the lack of response from this company regarding our calls both and days ago. Again, if ever needed, phone records should verify calls were made.Thank you

Customer called on 12/and we let them know we delivered on 12/4/customer never told the CS rep that we delivered to the wrong address, also the customer did an online chat with our CS rep on 12/just requesting their prebuy balance, they again never mentioned that the delivery did not happen
to their home address. Can the customer call and provide more details, what is the address of the workshop? Why didnt they tell our CS reps when they called in that the delivery was made to the wrong tank? Thanks,Thrifty Propane

We apologize for the unsatisfactory experience. Thrifty completed the delivery on 11-7-16, the 9th business day from the date of the order

Customer did received propane on 1/4/gallons

We have beefed up the
customer service call center now to anticipate another hard winter this year, we are likewise augmenting our fleet and reviewing our procedures to streamline response in both arenas

Initial
Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2016/02/05) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
First let me say that they did finally arrive and partially fill our tank and followed up to fill it completely days later which we are satisfied withThat said, the answer once again shows the creative history revisionism which was described in my complaintI have the fill ticket showing the actual date delivered which was 1/20, it was business days and actual days after the the call for fuel first thing in the morning on 1/6/We were below 5% and believe that the fill only happened because of our actionsIn
January of we went to 0% and were heating our house with electric plug ins while hoping that our hot water heater would not run us dryWe took action this year when we saw the same behaviorThrifty has by their own request asked us in the past not to call in fills until around 25%I will happily call it in at 50% if that is what would get them out before reaching critical levels
Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2016/02/20) */
We regret the customer's unsatisfactory experience
Please refer to your prebuy agreement where it states to order when your gauge reads 30% and to allow up to ten business days

Customer did get delivery on 2/2/of 394.00. Please advise customer they do own their own tank, they can always call a local provider if our terms to not work for them

It is a shame that I wasn’t notified that Thrifty Propane’s driver made the decision not to deliver my propane order on January 9thIn fact, it wasn’t until I filed a complaint with the Revdex.com on January 16th that I got any definitive response from Thrifty Propane about the attempted delivery, a full seven days laterFrom my perspective, what Thrifty Propane and/ or their driver seem to forget is that kindly notifying their customers of what they determine to be a reason for non-delivery of this commodity doesn’t seem to matterI’m sorry, but I feel this practice of non-communication is deplorableA simple email or voice mail message saying “we couldn’t make it” would have been sufficientI was out of propane, in the dead of winter with the temperatures in the single digits and no idea of where I was with this problemI made numerous unsuccessful attempts to contact Thrifty Propane by phoneI wanted to speak to an actual person and not merely leave a messageI pre-bought gallons from Thrifty Propane and have dealt with them for yearsYou would think I at least deserved some small consideration in return from themMaybe this tenet of customer service should be addressed in the pre buy agreement as well. To address the excuse that the driveway was long and curvy and snow covered, the driveway is gravel, and in the winter when it snows, I plow it and shovel it the day of the snow or, worse case, the day after, whether or not I’m expecting a deliveryI need to get from the street to the house on a daily basis in my small front-wheel drive (not four-wheel drive) car Since it is a gravel driveway, I keep it cleaned off as clear as humanly possibleThere is no way to remove 100% of the snow down to the bare gravelDespite appearances, the driveway is always accessibleIf the driver had gotten out of his truck he would have discovered this factCompanies with large delivery trucks like FedEx and UPS have no issues with the driveway being long and curvy and snow coveredSince Thrifty Propane left me stranded, I had no choice but to purchase additional propane at an increased rate from a local company in Bellefontaine on Monday January 15thThey had no issue with the driveway’s condition, and made the delivery the same day I ordered itThis was before I got a chance to clear the inches of fresh snow we received the night before A simple "sorry for not following up" would suffice

Thank you for your patience during this busy time, refunds will be mailed this week

Customer is getting delivery today - we apologize for the long delay

Delivery will be made today

The consumer ordered gas on 12-21-and received delivery from Thrifty on 12-30-16. The customer needs to refer to the prebuy letter for approximate timesThe gas was received in a timely manner. The consumer was offered ER serviceCustomer ordered @ 15%, was instructed to order
@ 30% or higher to ensure they don't run out of gas or have to pay extra to have drivers rerouted

In regard to this Revdex.com - they also had a complaint with the Attorney General.  They ordered on 1/29 prebuy at 20%- that is 15 business day delivery and we delivered on the 13th business day.  They have 4 gallons left on prebuy.  Please advise customer to refer to their prebuy agreement...

they just entered into in May of 2017 and they do own their own tank they are welcome to call another provider that fits better with their delivery needs.

Customer called on 2/20 and did state in their complaint they were told 7-15 business days.  It is not how close you are to our plant, it is where you are on our list of deliveries.  Customer did email our company on 3/5/18 and cancel their delivery, this was on the 9th business day. ...

When customers call in to find out when delivery is, our customer service reps do not know.  All we can ask is that you wait your 15 business days, we are delivering within those terms.
