Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted] From the business' response, they are not willing to resolve our concerns as they believe the flooring was installed according to industry standardsAs stated, we are not satisfied with the installation and believe that the business should resolve based upon their own contract Regards, [redacted] ***
Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted] Are you kidding me? I have been trying to get national floors direct to come and replace the floors that they installed since September! The floors are cracking, separating, they were never repaired as they said they wouldIf you close this case I will go directly to the consumer complaint department to file my grievanceI am not looking for a refund unless they refuse to fix the floors Regards, [redacted]
National Floors Direct cannot offer Ms [redacted] any refund for the installation undertaken in her homeMs [redacted] ' comprehension of what a "skim coat" is are very unrealisticAs is disclosed on her order, "National Floors Direct cannot entirely rebuild or level [her] floor." The skim coat is designed to smooth out portions of the existing substrate so that new floor-covering can be installedThe expectations were never set by the company or any company representative for us to entirely level the flooring in a home that is almost years old for a $1,floating vinyl flooring installationThis is completely unrealistic
National Floors Direct can offer Mr [redacted] a full refund of his depositA check will be mailed within business days
National Floors Direct cannot offer any refund to Ms [redacted] As was made abundantly clear to her son - who is not a party to the agreement and we believe, based on phone conversations, to be the author of this complaint - National Floors Direct cannot offer the installation of the wall base molding until the company has been paid in full for the significant additional labor required to complete the installationThis was explained to Ms [redacted] when the installers arrived to home to find an installation space that was not prepped per the terms of the agreement in any way whatsoeverAt the time of the sale, Ms [redacted] agreed in writing that, "All clothing and debris must be completely removed from the installation areasAll drawers must be removed from furniture by the customer and placed in a separate area - installers will not move your clothing or any other debrisPictures must be removed from wallsAll breakables, small items, and any other debris must be completely removed from areas to be installed prior to installer arrival or additional charges will apply."As is clear from the photos submitted along with our reply, NOTHING whatsoever was done to prepare for the installation, causing significant increase in the time and cost associated with the installationNational Floors Direct needs to be paid - per the agreement - for the significant additional labor required to complete this installationAfter we have been paid, we will install the wall base molding as thoroughly explained to Ms [redacted] and her son
Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted] This does not change the fact that their salesperson LIED to me when he visited my home I am not happy with the flooring, but it is acceptable My main issue is that if their salesperson was upfront and told me no they won't move the furniture, I would not have made a purchase on that day This blatant dishonesty is unacceptable The refund requested was not for the flooring but so I can hire someone else to move the furniture as it is quite heavy; something the salesperson acknowledged and told me it would be no problem Regards, [redacted] ***

National Floors Direct did have the original installer return to my home to install a rubber-type cove base molding to cover the flooring gaps near the pole; however, the molding is made more for a commercial room and not a residential roomThe seam is very transparent and does not meet our expectations or agree with the verbiage in their contract. Although National Floors Direct seems to think that what was installed is consistent with industry standards, we disagreeWe paid almost $9,and expect more than that responseThe transition piece is not flush with the flooring and should be correctedThe flooring would need to be removed in that area and the transition piece would then need to be installed prior to the rest of the laminate flooringI asked National Floors Direct what the depth of the transition piece was to compare to the depth of the laminate flooring which is mmKnowing that depth is vital to this complaint; yet, they have not provided me with that information. As far as the molding near the doorways, the National Floors Direct salesman was at my home prior to the installationHe saw that my basement was recently finished and we were only in need of flooringThey are now saying that we would have had to purchase the molding to fit properlyDoesn't make sense? Instead the molding should be cut at a degree angle to fit around the doorways correctly. Again, we spent almost $9,and expect quality workmanship and not something that was completed with improper installationI was also told by the salesperson that the length of the installation would be three business daysThe installer was "done" in less than two daysMaybe if he took the full three days and had another person with him on the second day, the job would not have been rushed and the quality and improper installation would not be of question

Attached arecustomer satisfaction checklistcost breakdown for installing the 4th bedroom as well as missing material for kitchen. In customer satisfaction checklist, neither completion date and feedbacks are notedMy signatures is not forged, but my feedbacks are forgedNational Floors, explain this? Please be very creativeThe customer satisfaction checklist was forged by National Floors Direct. I have already installed the 4th bedroom on my own costI have provided my receipt and cost breakdownThe installation date was 9/and it has been weeks and we could not live here without the proper floorsIt was significant safe hazardUnfortunately, you can't have floors floating on top of another

Revdex.com:National Floor direct did a slightly better job with the repairs However, it should of been done right the first time If I hadn't advocated for my elderly parents, they would of been stuck That is not fair They also never apologized for the mishap or inconvenience My parents must now hire someone to fix the damaged woodwork as that wasn't addressed in the service call I'm only accepting this because I no longer wish to have this company inside my parents home My mother was pressured into signing the work order even after she told the worker that was not going to sign it The worker begged her to sign it claiming he wouldn't be paid by the company I will not give any recommendations for this company and they hould be monitored more closely by the Revdex.com

Upon further review, National Floors Direct did assess a restocking fee on this order per the terms of her agreementThe fee was justified based on the terms of the agreementThis is clearly outlined in the agreementAs a measure of good faith, National Floors Direct is willing to refund half of the restocking fee to this customer
We have issued this customer a new refund to the address on file
I continue to challenge that the carpeting can not be installed to "industry standards" with the railings in place. The last two installations were performed with the railings in place. The installation team that came out were fully prepared to install the carpeting but deferred due to inclement weather, NOT, because of the railings. Once again in my discussion with salesperson *** T, I specifically asked whether the railings needed to be removed, he assured me they did not. NO WHERE in the contract does it specifically ADDRESS railings be removed. I request that an installation team different from the team that came on October 9th install my carpeting as soon as possible.Revdex.com:

Correct, nothing during the course of putting a carpet in would cause damage to a floor board not abutting the carpetHowever the contractor dropping one of the myriad tools they use to iustall carpet - hammers, crowbars etc - on the way into and out of the room getting the carpet would in fact damage a floor board that does not abut the room being carpetedThis is not rocket science, one of your contractors dropped a heavy tool on the hardwood floors, not while installing carpet like you keep saying, but while entering/exiting the room as I keep sayingyour failure to acknowledge this possibnility despite repeated phone calls and messages over the Revdex.com website is baffling and a bit confusing if you are in fact being serious in your responses here. You have now gone from denying any damage to the floor despite seeing the pictures, to admitting the damage but denying responsibility via a childish sleight of hand (ie claiming it couldn't have been damaged during the course of putting a carpet down...while we have repeatedly stated it was obviously damaged entering/exiting the room)
