National Floors Direct has agreed to refund Ms***'s deposit independently of Revdex.com
National Floors Direct cannot offer Ms*** any refundHer carpet has been installed for several months and is - without any doubt - exactly the product for which she contractedShe cannot walk on the carpet for more than months and then decide she wants it for less money
We cannot control the snow or the impact it has on the region in which Ms*** livesThat said, this customer has already been offered a full refund of her deposit
National Floors Direct is open to discussing a refund amount for the additional room in Mr***'s *** but we cannot accept a word document he prepared as substantive proof of his cost for that room, nor can we offer any amount greater than the pro-rated price for the remainder of the entire installation performed by National Floors Direct

*** *** warranty claim was denied only in part because the claim form was post marked after the warranty period for her flooring installation had expiredHad she submitted her claim within the warranty period, the issues she described would not be covered under the warranty.National Floors
Direct does not believe *** *** is due any compensation, nor is there any remedy we can provide for a floor outside of warranty

I am rejected the business response because the rug installed by the business on the stairs does not match the rug on the living room floor.I attached two pictures to show the mismatch between the rug on the stairs compared to the rug on the living room floor. One picture shows a top down close up view of the stair carpet mismatch to the living room floor carpetOne picture shows a side view of the stair carpet mismatch to the living room floor carpetThere is one additional picture that shows the expected perfect match of the carpet at the seams on the living room floor in another location. Best, *** ***

National Floors Direct takes its advertising and the promises it makes to its customers very seriouslyWe guarantee to beat anyone's price by 15% or the floor is FREEWe offer this incredible price guarantee based on our website's terms of use policyThere is an entire page on our website
dedicated to this program We apologize if there was any issue communicating the details of the price guarantee to Ms***, but her estimate does not meet our criteria for a number of reasonsAmong them, the product is not the sameIt is from the same manufacturer as the product our representative showed but it is of a lower qualityWe do not carry the *** *** hardwood, nor have we ever carried this lineWe cannot beat the "limited quantity promotion" product price by 15% with a higher quality product
National Floors Direct cannot offer Mr*** a refund for the carpet installed in his homeHe has an installation warranty from National Floors DirectThe remedy for installation-related issues is service under the warranty, not a refund.Mr*** scheduled a repair appointment with our
installation department and then changed his mind, refusing to allow any NFD installers on his propertyWe cannot offer any remedy other than service under our installation warranty
National Floors Direct has been actively addressing Ms***' concerns with her installation since the installer was on site during the original installation dateOur installer ordered the vinyl molding to cover expansion around the pole while he was still in her homeRegarding the other issues
expressed in this complaint, the photos show that the installation was completed to industry standardsExpansion gaps and expansion moldings are a necessary part of any laminate flooring installation

They are not covering there warranty, specifically states that if I notice and defects in the first daysI did not walk the floor or in this case crawl on it before they leftI am a repeat buyer, this is not how you correct a situationThey are basically saying that if by the next morning I happen to notice the floor it wouldn't be covered then eitherWhere does this warranty fit in.

National Floors Direct executed the installation per the terms of its agreement with Mr***We are under no obligation to adjust the price of an agreement after it has been completed for any reasonIf Mr*** was interested in our web coupon, he should have presented it at the time of saleEven still, he accepted a significant discount off the the regular purchase price and is now trying to get more money from the companyIn the interest of closing this complaint, National Floors Direct is willing to offer Mr*** half of the coupon amount we have on our website, $He is not entitled to any refund whatsoever but we will offer him $in good faith to close this complaint

1) National Floors Direct, Inc("National") states in its answer to my Complaint that "we have incurred significant costs in attempting to install the special order vinyl he purchased in home." As was provided for in the Contract, National sent representatives to my home to tear out the existing parquet floor and install the new flooring After removing one of the tiles from the existing parquet floor, the representatives determined that there were "hidden defects in the substrate that came to light after the existing floor-covering was removed." It is not possible to determine that the substrate was rotted or in need of repair by removing simply removing just one tile of the existing flooring The representatives left without doing any further work and provided no explanation to me The National representatives did not speak English. 2) I was not provided with reasonable quotes to repair the issue and install the vinyl flooring. 3) Since National cannot perform the work specified in the Contract, the Contract is null and void. 4) If National is unwilling to return the $deposit that I gave to its salesman, *** ***, on November 21, when the Contract was signed, I would appreciate it if National would deliver to me the new vinyl flooring it purchased in exchange.

National Floors Direct contracted with Mr*** for material and installation of carpet and laminate flooring at homeOn 02/14/2018, upon removal of the existing carpet and pad, our installation team identified a significant portion of the existing asbestos floor was loose, broken, and coming
looseAs these conditions are know to cause respiratory illness and it is illegal in the state of Connecticut for a floor-covering contractor to remove this type of flooring, work was stopped immediately. We notified Ms*** that he would need to hire a company to remove the loose and broken tiles and that we would return to the home to patch those areas so we can move forward with the installationHe agreed and told our office he would notify us as soon as the issue was resolved and he was ready for installationThe materials for his order were left at the home on the original installation dateOn 02/24, Mr*** called in to our customer service line to say that the work had been completed by another installer but that they needed more materialThis is a bizarre turn of eventsIt seems that Mr*** hired someone else to install the material that he purchased from National Floors Direct and even though he is calling our office to say he wants to purchase more materials, he is telling Revdex.com that he wants his money back. We cannot offer Mr*** any refundWe acted in good faith by postponing the installation after discovering the broken asbestos and have acted in good faith in offering to sell Mr*** the additional materials he needs and provide a $refund for the labor charge to hire the side contractor that installed our materials

We do not accept this response as it is exactly what we have been told over the past month and goes against everything we were sold up front. This response from this dishonest company sheds no light onto the actual complaint that they have miss-represented themselves in their advertising and also with their salespeople. We will now want to pursue this to the fullest extent.

National Floors Direct cannot offer Mr*** any compensation for the installation appointment that was delayed hoursThe delay was due to unforeseen circumstances and every effort was taken to have the installation re-scheduled as quickly and efficiently as possible.Further, no adhesives
were used in the installation of his carpet and this public posting is the first mention of his family sleeping in their backyard to avoid any new-carpet-related odors in their homeMultiple company representatives reached out to Mr*** to apologize for the delay, to which his response was to threaten publicly complaining about National Floors Direct if a large portion of the order was not refundedMr*** was not interested in an apology or a reasonable resolution of a legitimate issue
