Hello, Ms [redacted] , and thank you for reaching out to Traditional Van Lines!The reason for change in price is a significantly larger amount of items upon pickup in comparison with an estimate created upon reservationAccording to the paperwork you have electronically signed when reserving your moving service, your estimate is binding and depends solely on the volume of items taken on the truck, with an according change in cost.Additionally:According to our company's policies the delivery cannot start before the final bill is coveredPer your relocation service contract, movers are not obligated for garbage and used packing materials removal as it is not the part of the service.As for the damages - a CC representative ([email protected]) has sent you a claim form both on Feb (PM) and Mar (AM) in order for you to get reimbursed through the insurance company(documentation proof can be provided upon request).Please reach out to Traditional if you have any further questions

We used this company to moveThey are holding our stuff and asking for more money to deliver it to us then what was originally contractedThey tell us something different every time we talk to themThe originally were supposed to deliver our items on the 21st and it is now the 23rd and we still have no idea when our items will arriveIf ever

Traditional Van Lines was contracted by [redacted] brokerage to perform a relocation service for Mr*** from NY to TXThe initial list of items provided by the customer was estimated at cubic feet of spaceThe corresponding paperwork was created and signed by the customer However, the list of belongings being moved upon movers’ arrival was drastically different to what the client stated – almost double the number of items and a total of cfA standard method almost every moving company uses is price per cubic foot, thus the price for the service went up accordinglyThe comparison of the list upon reservation and an updated list upon the pickup show a clear discrepancy.As for the damages the client claims to have occurred during the move – a claim’s form was sent out in order to reimburse the customer through the basic liability insurance his move was covered with However, neither a filled-out form nor any attached pictures were provided to either us or the insurance company we are affiliated with.The remaining part of the complaint is purely emotional and goes against the signed paperwork – movers are not supposed to clean the packing garbage afterwards (unless stated otherwise as an additional service), nor they should be treated with contempt for asking a tip for a long day’s work.Consumer’s desired resolution serves as a perfect example – “Half of the funds should be returned” and “I want to be refunded in full” within same paragraph indicate a real motive behind this complaintTraditional Van Lines made every effort to contact the customer in order to resolve the issue, meeting nothing but hostility and threatsAt this point we feel we can not reason with the clientHe should contact [redacted] *** as well

This company has been rude and uncooperative from day they picked up my belongings I hired them to move two locations simultaneouslyMy California truck picked up on March and after not knowing where my stuff was for two weeks finally delivered my stuff four weeks after pickup My Bed frame and a end table are broken and all my boxes are crushed and damaged I'm missing a box of clothes and a box of crystal glasses and a brand new SHOEI motorcycle helmet is missing I've called everyday and talk to a different person who says they will send me a claim form and/or try to locate my missing items and that's as far as I get No one calls me back or sends me a claim form I have been spoken to very unprofessionally and lied to by this company for the last three weeks I just want my stuff returned and replaced I have video of the movers just tossing stuff in my house - I can only imagine how it was treated moving into their storage and back on a truckI ended up paying $

Movers picked up my belongings from Austin TX on 7/I was not present, but I spoke with the head mover, told him there were special requests, and that some items needed to be left behindI also sent him numerous text messages asking them to leave certain items behind, and to make sure they took everything else- including the TV and wall mount I found out later that the mount for my tv was left on the wall, and several items were left behind including a large wire shelf, step stool, and patio rug I was informed that they also took the items I specifically told them to leaveNow I'll need to pay to return these items back to Austin They also left my front door and my patio door wide open and did not lock up after themselves I sent several emails starting about days ago asking what they planned on doing about this and received no responseI have not received any response from anyone regarding anything I heard from my mover today and he informed me that my

The guys were professional and moved everything out of my storage unit and into my new house quickly! I have a very steep stairwell & they were able to roll my heavy couch up and maneuver it through the doorway without too much struggleIf I asked somebody to try to do the same, that couch would probably fall! An added bonus, they voluntarily arranged my furniture without any hidden charges -They didn’t nickel and dime usI’m so grateful with their serviceIf I need to move again, I know who to call

I had to call the police on the movers because of a money dispute and a furniture mixupAs soon as I paid my deposit and 50% of the total cost, everyone at the company seemed to disappearDespite claiming that all sales reps worked in the industry for 10+ years, they grossly underestimated (originally $1500, cost $2700)The movers were sketchy (removing drawers from dressers to add more space) and their "customer service rep" Tina had an attitude and did absolutely nothingBlake, the sales rep, told me to f [redacted] off and his boss Mitch wasn't any betterIf you want more stress in your life, use this terrible company

Last week was the second time we have used this company to relocate and like the first time the service was impecable.Everything went smoothly with no stress at all The difficult part this time was that our new flat was on the 3rd floor with no lift but the crew just got on with it without complainingOn the first day the team packed us the whole flatAs we did not want to take time off work we left them by themselvesWhen we returned home all was packed and readied for the move the following dayWe did not get a home survey this time as the company had our records from the previous moveThe move was completed on time and most importantly with no damages and no missing items

Never been happier with a service provider than these guys! My cousin recommended this company so I called their customer serviceThe guy who answered the call was very politeI inquired about their services and requested a quoteHe told me I should not worry as their team will take care of everythingI bought some storage space from them for keeping my stuff until the new house was paintedEverything was returned to me unharmedEven the glass items were packed with care to avoid cracking and shattering during the moveThe truck that my belongings were placed in was also in good shape
