TRED was amazing. It was easy to post my car, they helped me price it appropriately. It sold in under a week! They take care of all the paperwork and the money being handled electronically gave me a lot of peace of mind. I honestly can’t give TRED enough credit. Thank you!

Like other posts, there is no disclosure of hidden fees. Tred attempted to charge $99 to our card today and fortunately, was declined. In the fine print of terms & conditions that are visible if you search for them, it states they charge a transaction fee of the GREATER of $99 or .99% - that's basically 1%, or $1,000 if you sold a car for $10,000; $2,000 if you sold for $20,000. This violates so many laws. It's a clear violation of the consumer protection act. Nothing in the onboarding process states this and there is NO cancellation button. The only option is to take your account "offline" - whatever that means. Car sellers beware of these hidden fees.

This was my first time using TRED. Very professional and easy to work with. I'll definitely use them again!

I’m still waiting for my registration and pink slip as of now. I bought the car on June 4,2020 and I have been calling and emailed them with no return call. I called at least 5 times. I can’t even get a status of my papers.

Similar to other posters here, I listed my car on Tred.com. At first, I was excited. Seemed like a smart thing. Great graphics, nice pictures. Safe. I was pleased. BUT, I got very little response. And, the responses I did get were not legit. So, I went the old fashioned route and posted on Craigslist. I sold my car in two days from that posting. (Craigslist...still hard to beat!).
When I finally went out to pull the car down from Tred.com, I was charged $99. They did nothing to help me sell it. Nada. I don't post on websites but this one has me riled.
It's okay to charge me for hosting pictures of my car and for all the work you do to put it on other sites, etc. I get that. But, to charge me $99 for a task you did not do? That's out-of-bounds. It's offensive, wrong, unethical and not good business practice. If you're considering this a viable option, I'd strongly suggest you find another.

TRED violates many codes iCANN and InterNIC to mention a couple. No clear and immediate cancel solution on website and recurring $99 charge to the card used for a simple $19. Call and NO voicemail even or support return. A cancellation button/link should be provided to cancel as easy as they took the funds. Not here! As many companies online practice this we wonder why there is a recurring charge w/o the user knowledge?? It's plain THEFT. Report them to the watchdog for internet unsafe practices at ***, click contact to file a complaint. Also, the CPA Consumer Protection Agency, Revdex.com, and Google listings. *** will handle the rest. This type violation(s) could result in fines as much as $16000.00 per incident. Please report to stop recurring billing across the internet. - ***, CEO ***. (a forensic data watchdog)

I wanted to update a review I left previously where Tred charged me $99 even though I didnt sell through their service. They reached out to me and refunded the money.
"We have gone ahead and updated our policy due to customer feedback"

Purchased a SUV three weeks ago, and have received about three dozen emails and texts saying they do not have my paperwork. But on the other hand, I have received about a dozen texts and emails saying they have! I've tried to contact them many times to get a straight answer, and all I get is a form response blaming COVID 19. It would have been far easier to buy from a real dealer, or private party and handle the docs myself. What a waste of time.

Some people and getting paid inside to lower the price the sellers get for their cars.

Whenever I had a question or needed additional information, either on the web chat or on the phone, TRED associates would be prompt, knowledgeable and courteous in their response.
The entire process was incredible, easy, professional... even in the midst of the pandemic. I really appreciated the detail to safety, protection of confidential information, and seamless transactions. I did practically nothing, and my car sold for top dollar!

Absolutely amazing! Easy process. Downloaded the TRED app and made the whole process a breeze from listing to selling my vehicle. Whenever I had a question whether on phone or messaging TRED service rep was always helpful and courteous! The whole process could not have been any easier or transparent. This made the notion of visiting a used car dealership seems obsolete and backwards, not to mention NO sleazy pushy salesperson tacking on hidden fees and services. With their screening, no craigslist scammers either! Would recommend TRED 1000%!

TRED was fantastic and efficient. Customer service is phenomenal. They made everything so easy, from a safer sale to letting everyone avoid the DMV. I wouldn't sell a car any other way going forward.

They charge you a little money upfront, as expected to list your vehicle on their site. Then after that, without your permission, they charge $99 just for logging in. When people send you random messages, or even if people from the company try contacting you and you login, just for logging in they charge you $99!!!. It is such a scam they should be taken down. When I tried to contact them regarding this they just forward you along and try to steal your money. This is the worst company and should easily have a lawsuit against them.

I have always dreaded selling my own car. We discussed trading it in and got such a low offer that we thought we would at least try to sell it on our own. Tred made this process so pain free that I am still surprised. In under a week we sold our car for more than double what the trade in offer was. You guys offer a great service and a very clean website and well functioning app.

Smoothest transaction ever. Made the car buying and paperwork so easy. Never bought a car with that ease of mind.

It's great to have a service to handle the transaction from my finance company, the buyer and the DMV! Everything went so quick, both me and the buyer were shocked. Thank you!
