Your debit card will not work for large sums, and you must have online banking or it will not work!! would have been 1 star but its new and well it has some bugs to work out. I bought a car and it was not so easy. I called and made sure my bank was on their instant pay system, and all I needed was my debit card. drove 2 hours there at 5pm, car was good, tried to buy, card failed, bank was closed and I do not have online banking and NO dont think for a second your routing and account number will help. Lucky for me my friend had a credit card to cover it. but that didnt work either, and after 2 hours total we managed to pay with her online banking, mind you that had its issues too that took a while to deal with. would have been way way simpler to buy at a car lot. minus the salesmen BS

For what it's worth, traditional car lots don't accept credit cards for more than $5,000, and should you have chosen to pay a traditional car lot from your bank account, they would have required that you provide your account number and routing number. In other words, at a traditional car lot, you would have had to deal with the same payment problems in addition to the "salesmen BS".
That said, I greatly appreciate the feedback, and once again I sincerely apologize that you had difficulty making payment for your vehicle. We will work to incorporate your feedback.
had I gone to a car lot I would not have ALMOST had to take a bus home. Yeah well I had my account number and routing number available as a back up but that did no good at all, and I was told by your customer service twice than my debit card would not be a problem and I assumed having my check book handy was a reasonable backup and it was not. Lucky my friend was able to take a pic of my check and instantly deposit it in her account where she had online banking and more importantly Mobil banking. she still had a fraud flag with online banking reject the payment and if he didn't have "mobile banking" to ok it we would have been done. no car.
Debit card....fail,.....credit card....fail,.....account-number-routing number....useless, online banking...stopped by fraud alert....fail but fixed with mobile banking. next time, im avoiding tred unless its something I really gotta have but it has potitual.
Awesome new paradigm for selling and buying used vehicles, similar to an AirBNB or Uber model. Flat fee of $500 for seller, $200 for buyer and TRED handles all the paperwork to pay off any existing loans and transfer title. They also run verification on ownership, liens, and a rudimentary mechanical review of car’s condition. Seller gets better price than they would as trade in or private sale, better exposure to the market and no paperwork headaches. Buyer gets access to quality used vehicles that likely would have gone into dealer resale channel as trade in, pre-checked for mechanical issues, option of finanacing and/or extended warranty. It’s a great idea, wish I’d have thought of it! My only caveat: I got a much better rate on financing through my local credit union, but it added a few days and more paperwork to the process. Overall, definitely recommend and will probably use them for my next car purchase.

Just sold my car with TRED and it was such a great experience. All I had to do was take a few photos, get a free inspection and they took care of listing/managing it on 12+ sites. They made it so easy I just had to wait for a buyer to contact me through the TRED app. TRED eliminated the scammers that I dealt with the last time I sold a car. My car sold in 11 days. They send you all the paperwork and verify the buyers funds prior to having me release the car to the buyer. I wouldn't think twice about recommending TRED to anyone that is wanted to sell their car, even it is a lease like mine.
