My name is Matt Wesolowski, and my wife and I own Shelley's Red Door Hair Salon in Arlington Texas, at 1714 West Park Row. Our AC was working but blowing warm air instead of cold air. Eric came out and diagnosed the problem. The condenser outside was very old (25-30 years) and it had a bad capacitor. Eric replaced the capacitor in an attempt to fix the problem, but as he explained to me the bad capacitor was a secondary symptom of a bigger problem. The condenser was froze up (meaning the motor) (turned out later the evaporator coils were leaking too) - Anyhow long story short, we needed a new condenser (and I knew it was coming, that thing was old) Not only did we need a new condenser, but we would need a new evaporator coil as well because new systems use 410a Freon and old ones use R22. Our old evaporator coil could not handle the higher p.s.i. that the new 410a system works at...(Eric explained all this very well) - longer story made short...Eric and Bang (yes, his name is Bang - and he is wicked smart and worked his you know what off) - Eric and Bang came out the next day and worked non-stop for 7 hours! I know, because I was there the whole time watching them like a Hawk! (that's right, I am one of those guys) I wanted them to mess up, or try and take a short cut! I would be right there to bust them! Too bad, all they did, the whole day, was overcome each and every issue to install a new system that I feel sure will work very well for a long time. They had to remove the old equipment and make the new equipment fit into the old environment. They had to custom fit the outflow plenum box onto the new evaporator coils. They had to run new lines, and flush old lines, pull a vacuum on the system and charged it all. They took readings and tested everything (only to find a small pinhole leak in a difficult position outside) Fixed that, which is frustrating when you think you are done and man I was getting tired just watching. You could really tell both of these guys took pride in their work. They custom fit and sealed the duct work along with the drain system in a very small closet. They installed a new thermostat. They cleaned up everything, and they asked me if I was happy? They explained everything along with the warranties and their maintenance program I was enrolled in free with purchase. Yes, it cost a lot of money, and yes I shopped a cheaper price before deciding to use them. I even called their install supervisor, Steven and asked why it was so expensive? I asked him why I found a system for a lot less, and why they didn't offer me that? He couldn't have been more patient. He let me explain my frustration without ever interrupting me, ever. He was calm and explained why he thought I would be better served with what they were offering. He reduced the price 10% (if I paid with a check/cash in lieu of a credit card. *Turns out later, Eric tells me, Stephen has a lot of experience working with major equipment manufacturers and Metro has a big advantage having him under their roof. He never bragged about his experience and he never made me feel like my small project (and it is small, in the bigger picture) was not important. I could go on and on raving about the service I got! I am not the kind of person to write a review, but I have an amazing amount of respect for these guys now! Please get to know them, and do yourself a favor. These guys are the real deal! I also found out the owner is an older gentleman, who still shows up every day and cracks the whip at the beginning of each day! That's a lost art! Turns out, Eric likes that, because he knows if he works hard, he will be taken care of. He could have bad mouthed the company, just as easy. He didn't have to brag on them either, he chose to. He never knew what I was thinking, or if I was really listening. All right. That's enough! They have my vote! P.S. I just had my air conditioner serviced and as usual the tech was fast, effecient and courteous. I've used Metro for many years and have never had a problem. You can count on them every time.

Super quick response, thorough system check, fast drainage fix, full explaination regarding why safety triggered, and full instructions on what to do if encountered again ... call Metro Energy again! 2year labor, 12year gear warrantees! And the ac even gets too cold now! Whoohoo!

MES installed a complete new Daiken system for me in February, 2017. I also signed a 2-year maintenance agreement with them. I have been totally satisfied with everything they have done so far. Leo and Jose did an excellent job of installing new return air vents and ductwork in order to make the system run more quietly and efficiently. Everyone I have dealt with at MES has been professional, knowledgeable and courteous.
