On 1/21/2018 while leisurely walking down sidewalk in front of Marriott I was lured by 3 reps promising a facial. I was literally pushed/hand guided into store.They used sweet beautiful high pitch sales tactics to convince me to sit in chair for a trial of their truffle repair syringe. Keep in mind only the right side was done. After my several no's and their constant persuasion, I purchased. Then came the "we can squeeze you in to do the facial." So out came the handheld perfecto plus, only applying to the same side. I again kept saying, no. But the free gifts and 50% off came into play. Once again, I gave in. It was at this time I HAD TO REMIND THEM THAT THE OTHER HALF OF MY FACE WAS NOT TOUCHED. I HAD TO DO MY OWN FACIAL WITH THE PERFECTO. I was coerced into these purchases. I was taken advantage of, as I was on a layover for a 3 week trip to Indochina. They knew this. I made purchase if only they would mail products to my home after 2/10/18. Had afternoon & evening plans to go back then. Left at 430 am on my trip the next morning. Thought about this purchase the entire trip, wondering what a stupid purchase. I emailed the rep on 2/5/18 (supposedly her personal email) to request non-shipment and refund. Received ( 2/7/18)a reply fromTruffoire Hawaii.com customer service requesting add'tl information. I provide it within little over 2 hours. Since then there has been no contact from them even though I have attempted several times. Their customer service phone is not related to business. Contacted bus phone. Mgr called back on2/22/18. He requested I call him back on 2/26 so he could research. Since 2/26 I have called his personal phone with no voice mail & no answer. Called 2/28 1132am (PST) for him to call back. No return call. I was taken advantage of. People should be told. Marriott should kick them out. Was told they have shop in SF. I can't find the location. Skins17 in Walnut Creek claims they are not connected yet sell same product. I have more info

§ We were walking by the Truffoire store on Waikiki beach. We had no intention of buying anything in this store but we were lured in by a salesperson Chanel out front with a promise to "fix the bags under ***s eyes". The treatment on Oct. 29th by sales person Chanel on eyes provided instant results but the results did not hold 24 hours… It was a gimmick to get client in store. We fell for it. We bought $400.00 eye treatment.
§ We were then convinced that the sales person Sandy around the corner could demo how another product and machine is better than injecting Botox. Again, the results were immediate. She convinced us…. We signed for $8000 of machine and product, $4000 on a *** card, $4376 on *** card.
§ Within hours, I had an adverse reaction to product line. I, should have known better because there was no health history or concerns about skin reacting. She did not clean my skin before treatment.
§ Later, my Esthetician confirmed that the Truffoire product and LED Light Therapy device gave me a severe case of Contact Dermatitis, and has proven I cannot use these products long term.
§ We have been unable to contact their customer service or the store.
§ We returned the product, unopened. After 2 months, we are still seeking a full refund.

Aloha *** Thank you for your feedback. We understand that sometimes after purchasing, customer change their mind and wants a refund. Which is why we work hard to make sure all our customers are aware with our refund policy, We have our policy displayed inside the store, and highlighted in each receipt. Though our refund policy is "all sales are finals, no refund exchanges only within 14 days". Any refund request claims of reactions with verified supporting documents (in examples; Doctors note,letter, ect. ) are grant full refund. We also have our customer service contact information printed on each receipt for our customer convenience. Customer can reach us for any concern, question or inquiry they might have. Our sales associates demo follows strict guidelines accordingly to the law. Our products are labelled with warnings including "always do a 24 hour patch test prior to using" and how to use instructions. Please kindly send us the supporting documents of your adverse reaction to [email protected] and we will be more than happy to review your case.

I'm here on a business trip and my first day in Hawaii (still jet lagged and not thinking clearly), I venture out to he shops at the hotel to find some souvenirs and/or Christmas gifts. I hadn't been out more than 10 minutes when I was approached by this very charming lady who expertly (but softly) grabbed me by the elbow to lead me toward her. She offered a free sample and before I knew what hit me, I was quickly in a chair with serum on my eyes. Initially, I did see the results they were claiming so was impressed. They are also giving me ridiculous compliments and so forth, but initially I felt the results were valid. The girl tells me the products are normally $1200 ... when she saw my face she quickly changes her tune to say but "today they are discounted by more than half"... she then tells me she can throw in an extra bottle and sell me 2 bottles for 299 or 3 for 350. I let myself be pressured into this sale, but the worst was yet to come. They took me into the 'back room' to give me a "free facial" using some of the other products. This is where the real scam and hard sell comes in... they use the products and the LED zero gravity device on you and keep complimenting you and telling you how much better you look. They continued to press me and all I can say is that I went from saying "no, no, no" to agreeing to purchase $4200 worth of products! I am a smart person and would normally NEVER do something like this, but they are scam masters and con artists and all I can say is that they make you feel as though you have to take the items. In addition, they applied product to my face and never took it off until I agreed to purchase the system. I realize now that was their way of keeping me there, working me. They offered so many items or discounts. Then she would leave for a few minutes come back and say they can also throw in such and such. (meantime, I still have this crap on my face) In hindsight, I should have just said "wipe this stuff off of me and let me out of here."

To Whom it May Concern:The complaint assigned ID has been resolved. The business eventually issued a full refund.Thank you for your assistance.-

I accepted a free facial at this store and was sold products that I did not understand were extremely expensive. The salesman did not tell me the cost and I did not have my glasses or hearing aids with me. I called him the next day and told him I did not want the products, I have not opened them, and I wanted a refund. He said I could not have a refund, refused to allow me to return the products and said I would have to work it out with my credit card company. The credit card company told me to mail the products to the address on the label (***, ***, Honolulu, HI ***) and I spent $122.58 in postage. The man at that address refused to accept the package and it was returned to me. I do not want these products and believe that I was taken advantage of by this salesman. I do not want these products and want to know how to return them to get my money back.
