Review: I purchased a pair of boxing gloves :Twins Silver Boxing Gloves 16oz $70.00 Subtotal: $70.00 TOTAL: $88.95. This was on 2/8/14. The item was declared IN STOCK, after a week I received no info on shipping and they did pick the call up when I called and then notified itl be 3 weeks max coz it is suddenly out of stock. yet to date I received no shipping info and for the last 5 weeks I have been calling and emailing and no one answers or returns calls or emails yet the payment was processed in the beginning.Desired Settlement: I would like my order delivered with minimum 50% discount total sale inc ship n handling returned for this major heart ache.

Review: In Oct 13 I ordered muaythai shorts from twinsspecial.com. Order no [redacted] after 2 months or so and having got no shorts I sent messages to their own website I heard nothing back, I then tried their facebook page and heard nothing back there either. I then tried ringing them in san diego but the phone no they have on the website put me on to "mccarthy and mccarthy finance" in san diego. I could be wrong about the name of that finance company. they didnt have a clue what I was on about. now I did already order shorts from twinsspecial and had no problems in getting them. its just the frustration of hearing nothing back. thanking you [redacted].Desired Settlement: I would like my shorts as ive paid for them

The customer notes in his response that he has not received the item yet, but it takes time for a package to reach a customer in England. After giving the package to the carrier we do not have direct control of the timing any more.

A tracking number was emailed to the customer at the time of shipping. USPS tracking information shows that the package was given to the USPS carrier in San Diego on April 12th and then moved a central USPS facility in Los Angeles. The package left Los Angeles on April 14th (presumably in route to London). As it is now the 20th, and we shipped via Express Mail, we expect the customer will receive his package soon.

Company never answers the phone after payment was processed, will not respond to emails or voice messages. Items have still not been received. This week, we contacted the customer and offered a discount of $37 (40%) off the items in their order, due to the circumstances of their order. When the customer said they did not need the items any more, our customer support manager extended the courtesy of offering to cancel the order but immediately ship to the customer an in-stock item (Twins Special Sport Bag, valued at $118) for just $30, with no shipping charges.

The customer ultimately decided to take a full refund of $106.21, and we have credited that amount back to the credit card connected with this order. The customer expressed a potential interest in ordering some items in the future, and therefore, we have made a note in our system so that he can claim a 25% discount on his next order.

Regarding the difficulty the customer says they had in reaching our customer support team, we have recently added new members to our customer support team, and are in the process of upgrading our phone system, to help address the increased amount of sales and customer support communication we are handling now.

Review: My fiancé purchased an order from Twins Special website December 7, 2013 and took her money a few days later. Her name is [redacted] , the order is under her name. It is now almost THREE months later and we have still have not got the product. My fiancé spent a lot of money on this product. It was supposed to be a Christmas present for me. When the order was first placed Twins informed her that the product should arrive before Christmas. The product didn't make it and when she called customer service they said the product was not in stock. Twins then said we would receive it in the first week of January 2014. Again we received no emails for tracking information when we were told we would, and also no product. We called again and were told mid January. Still no product and there is a new excuse every time we call customer service. Seven more days is what they would say every time we called. I was last in contact with Twins February 4, 2014 via phone call. It is now the 28th, I have been calling for weeks and now they do not even answer my calls. I have emailed, left voicemails, and call everyday. I have received no assistance for nearly a month. This is outrageous and disrespectful. They took my fiancé's hard earned money within days of placing the order. A lot of money that she could have used for more important things. We were very understanding and patient in the beginning but this has gone too far. We have no idea what to do. I want my fiancé to get or money back or the product. Review: I have tried to call Twins Special over 10 times. I have left 4 messages and 2 emails. I finally talked to a "manager" in customer service who promised me I would receive a call on Monday regarding my order. When no call came on Monday or Tuesday I called a total of 5 more times....I never spoke to anyone.

At this point I don't believe they are actually going to fill my order. The order is almost 2 weeks old and still no confirmation, but they have charged my card for the amount of $104.72. After reading a handful of other reviews on this company on this Revdex.com website and noticing their terrible reputation I just want my money back.

Terrible customer service.Desired Settlement: I want a Refund in full.

Review: I ordered a pair of shin guards from this website back in November, it is now almost to the end of February. I have called their customer service numerous times and I have gotten no response, no tracking number, nothing. Their website won't even go to the contact us link anymore and I have received no emails or call backs from this establishment regarding my order. This is a ridiculous amount of time to wait for such a small order and the fact that I have not been contacted by them is alarming. I just want what I paid for in a timely manner. I don't want to have to wait for months and months for something I'm not even sure is coming.Desired Settlement: I want to be contacted by this company, told when I will receive my order and I expect to have a tracking number and all shipping information. On Saturday, March 1, we were able to connect with the customer, and agreed to send him at no additional cost, a higher-quality, more expensive pair of shinguards as a substitute for the back-ordered shinguards he originally requested.

This solution seems to have been positive for the customer. The shinguards he received are sold on our website for $109, whereas he originally paid $65, and received a discount of $10 on December 30th. Therefore, his cost for the $109 shinguards was only $55, plus shipping. His package is scheduled for delivery at his shipping address via UPS this coming Monday, March 10.

Should the customer have any additional questions, requests, or concerns, he is certainly welcome to contact us. Regarding his complaint about having difficulty reaching our customer support staff, we have recently added new members to our team, and are in the process of upgrading our phone system to handle the increased volume of sales and customer service communication we are receiving.

Review: We placed an order on October 2013 thats six months ago and still no products nor answer from them. The total amount of the order was $3,545 we were charged half of the order back then and the other half would be when they received the merchadise before they ship to us. Which we were ok with that as they told us that we would have the order before end of November for Black Friday. When that time came and we did not have the order we called them and complaint then they said we would have it before Christmas which that was also a lie. In January I spoke with their supervisor and he apologized and said it would be two weeks more and even emailed us on January 7th offering us "Courtesy Addition to Your Order" he would throw some shinguards as a courtesy in exchange for our continued patience. Well that was a lie too because its been 6 months now and they are a scam. We have called them and emailed them over 20 times yet they do not answer. We are tired of waiting they never sent us the rest of our order they charged us $1,887.00 for products plus $47.25 shipping on October 24th yet at that time they shipped only $932.00 worth of merchandise, the rest was suppose to be on the second shipment which was on back ordered and that never happened.Desired Settlement: I am tired of waiting and they do not answer the phone calls nor return emails. So therefore we want the rest of our money back they owe us $955 since they only shipped us $932 worth of merchandise and charged us $1,887.00 and then never responded to us.

We are happy to report that this customer complaint was resolved before we received notice from the Revdex.com that a complaint had been filed.

The customer attempted contact with our office in the morning on 4/22/2014, and we responded in the afternoon of the same day, addressing her concerns. We did not receive notice of this from the Revdex.com until 4/24. However, in a followup call with the customer on Friday 4/25/14, a manager confirmed that her concerns had been fully addressed.

To summarize the resolution of this case:

The customer's order had been part of a delayed shipment from Thailand which finally arrived a short time ago in April. When we spoke with her on 4/22, the customer was reassured to learn that the shipment containing her products had finally arrived at our warehouse in California from the factory in Thailand, and were now boxed up and ready to ship to her. The only reason the items had not yet shipped from our warehouse was that the unpaid balance of the order needed to be collected, along with shipping charges from California to Florida.

The customer confirmed on 4/22 that she still wanted the products, but wanted to check with her business partner, to be sure they were both in agreement. The customer support manager noted that the four sets of shinguards (retail store value) that had previously been added to her order free of charge would be included with the shipment, and volunteered to add two more as an additional courtesy. For the customer, who operates a brick and mortar retail store, these six bonus items may have a value of as much as $600. We also upgraded one of the synthetic leather boxing gloves in her order to a more expensive premium leather model at no additional charge.

By the evening of the next day, 4/23, we had repacked the order with the additional courtesy shinguards and generated a tracking number for the customer. We attempted to contact the customer by telephone on Wednesday 4/23 and Thursday 4/24, but were unable to reach the customer by telephone to collect payment until yesterday, Friday 4/25. Once payment was collected, the customer's order was released to UPS. Expected delivery date is Thursday next week 5/1.

To the best of our knowledge this complaint has been fully resolved. The customer seemed much relieved in her conversations with our customer support manager this week. If she has any additional needs, she is welcome to contact us.

That still won't cut into their cost.

Review: Hello. Only 7/29/14 I ordered shorts from Twins Special (TBS-014 Twins Muay Thai Shorts - 014). After 2 weeks I had not received the shorts. I contacted the company twice asking where the shorts were. After 2 weeks I was told that the shorts would be delayed 4 weeks. I agreed to wait. I have called the company 12 times with no response. I have sent 8 emails trying to gain a response. No answer.

I would like to know A) where my shorts are B) why I was charged for products I did not receive.

Review: I ordered a pair of Twins Lumpini Boxing Gloves which never arrived. The money was taken from my gift card, and I was sent an email saying my order was received on 7/2/2014 it is now 8/31/2014 and not have the gloves not even shipped, three phone calls and four emails have been completely ignored by the company simply asking for clarity on the situation.Desired Settlement: I would like my gloves or my money; either would be fine. Extra compensation for their poor costumer service would be to much to ask of a company that doesn't even have the decency to reply to my emails.

Review: This is by far the worst company that we have dealt with in the 27 years that we have been open. We set up a wholesale account, placed a large order and pre-paid $1200 for the equipment in March 5th. We called and called with no response. When we finally got a call back (we threatened to reverse charges on our card that day), they told us they were waiting on products from Thailand but if we wanted they could send us what was in stock however there would be a shipment arriving within a week. We asked them to get back to us with what is in stock and we never hear from them again,. We called and emailed several times throughout the following weeks with no response, no refund, and no product. I would strongly suggest NOT ever dealing with this company. They'll respond to you as a new customer and forget about you once they have your money. Ordering straight from Thailand would be quicker, more responsive, and less risky. Avoid these guys like the plague. We finally disputed the charges on our credit card.

Proof of how shoddy their service is, is how AmEx dealt with the reversal. Generally it takes a few weeks and some investigation for them to credit back a dispute but it was instantaneous due to the number of complaints.Desired Settlement: We would ideally like to see our order in a timely manner but won't be putting any money out until we hear from them.

Review: December 5th,2013 I ordered some fancy shinguards from TWINS SPECIALS (http://www.twinsspecial.com/). Today is February 27th, 2014 and I still haven't received them.

I called the first week of January and they told me they were in transit, so I patiently waited. I called again two weeks ago, they told me they were on their way and they would be there by last wednesday "GUARANTEED!!". Nothing came. I called last thursday, No answer. I called last friday, no answer. I called again Saturday and Monday...Still no answer. These guys are purposely ignoring my phone calls. I know they are, because when I called two weeks ago, they didn't pick up, I didn't leave a voicemail, but 10 minutes later they called me back and knew exactly what I was calling for without me telling them, so I know they recognized my number. I called two days ago and left a message, No call back.

Last March, I ordered a pair of boxing gloves that took TWO months to get to me. And they are based out of California. I have copies of online receipts I made for my payment. Turns out that a few people have communicated to me that the same has happened to them.Desired Settlement: I don't want anything to do with this company anymore. I just want my money back.

After reviewing the customer's request to cancel his order, we have sent a cancellation email and refunded the remaining $70 paid balance. Again, we are sorry for the inconvenience experienced.

Review: I ordered 3 items on April 17th, 2014. The order number is AB-4599 and I received a confirmation email that they were ordered but never received an email that they shipped & paid for UPS ground shipping. When I tried to contact the company no one picks up the phone. I have called repeatedly and left message after message. I've called Thursday, Friday, and today. They debuted my account for $128.44 though but can't answer my calls. I want my products or I want my money back immediately. I paid $16.44 for shipping to only have to deal with this nonsense. I'd like this to be resolved because it doesn't make any sense that no one today is picking up the phone. I ordered two pairs of shorts and a pair of ankle supports. This is ridiculous that no one can answer their phone or even let me know when my products are being shipped but they can debit my account without giving me any clue of when my stuff is coming.Desired Settlement: I want my order as soon as possible but if it's on back order which they never specified then I want my money back and to not ever do business with them again.

It is now 03/24/2014 and I still have not received the product that I paid for I contacted Twins Special over the phone first time on 12/23/2013 and was told I should receive the items in the middle of January 2014. Then I contacted Twins on January 22 2014 and was assured that I should receive the shipping tracking number in 10 days. After 10 days I tried contacting Twins every day by phone and email with no result. The voice mail box was full. Last time I spoke to customer service (Peter) on 3/19/14, he promised me some body will contact me in 24 hours, bat today is 3/25/14. Nobody contact me. I continue to call to the company with no result. None of my messages were returned.Desired Settlement: I want my merchandises delivered ASAP and discount for the headache.

I was told that gloves are out of stock and it will take 3 weeks to get from factory in Thailand. Since 06/17/2013 I cant get through the customer service. Voice mail asks to leave the message, however, when you get to it, the voice mail box is full. Same thing goes for international contact number. I wrote an email with a request for update. No response. Review: On 6/9/14, I ordered a pair of King 10 oz yellow-black-red Thai boxing gloves for $71.40 plus shipping ($18.12). My bank account was debited and I received an email regarding the transaction the following day. There was no shipping information aside from the cost and the color of gloves in the confirmation was wrong (i.e., yellow-white-yellow). I made multiple attempts to contact them via phone but received no response. On 6/16/14 I sent an email and made a phone call regarding my order but mentioned this time that I had found multiple complaints to the Revdex.com. Only then did I get a response both via phone and email. A brief message was left on my phone apologizing about the trouble with the order/communication. The email response from "[redacted]" indicated they were out of the color I ordered but expected more from the factory in 3 to 4 weeks. He indicated they did have my desired glove in a different color. I sent an email back asking for a picture of that glove but received no response. Multiple emails and phone calls well into to July have gone unanswered. My most recent phone calls/emails have requested that I my order be cancelled and I be refunded immediately. Per their website "Customer Service" page cancellation is listed as an option for items on back order. I understand the difficulties with back orders but the lack of communication from this business is totally unreasonable. I was able to get the desired product from a different company in just 3 days. The other company's website had the number of items they had in stock and the staff was easily accessible via phone and/or email. At the very least Twins Special (San Diego, CA) could update their website regarding what is and isn't in stock so consumers are not duped into thinking they actually have the items. This is not fair to the consumer and appears negligent.Desired Settlement: I need my money back ASAP.

Review: On Nov 17th, 2013 I place an order with the company Twin Special. I order silver head gear item number HGL2SilM and purple boxing gloves item number BGLL1Pur. After the first week of waiting I called the company around Nov 25 or 26 asking when my equipment would ship and was told it would take another 2 weeks do to the nature of the product. I waited another 2 weeks and called again around Dec 11th. I was told that they were waiting on a shipment but that it should be in before Christmas. After another week of waiting I called again around Dec 20th this time I talked to Manager [redacted] who promised my stuff would be in before christmas and gave me a 10% refund on my order. Christmas came and went so I called again around Dec 30th. I was told there was a delay in the shipment and that my order would be filled within the first week or so of January. At this point I asked again to talk to a manager. I was not only upset about the delay in my order but the lack of service in being notified of such delays. The manager was not in but I was promised he would call me back. He never did after about a day and a half of waiting so I called again. I was promised again that a manager would call me later. Later that night Jan 2 manager [redacted] called me apologizing for the delay, gave me another 10% refund on my order, and promising that my equipment would ship by friday. I waited another week to again receive no notice of my products shipping. I called again around Jan 13 talking to Manager [redacted] who apologized again and told me within 10 day I should receive notice of my products shipping. I waited... It has now been close to 20 day since that last phone call. I have yet to receive any notice on why my products have still not shipped and after calling the company multiple times at different times a day can receive no answer.Desired Settlement: I have now waited over 11 weeks on my order. I can not afford to wait any longer on the gear I have order and would like a full refund. I have been more than patient with the company but they have failed to come through on every deadline they have set for my order and I can not continue to wait around.

Review: I ordered boxing gloves from the website on Jan 2nd 2014. I called on February 8 2014 and elf a message. I was called back a few days later. During the phone call the business representative apologized for the length of time and offered me a 15% discount. He assured me that the gloves would be on their way to me in a few weeks. I called back 3 weeks later and left another message inquiring about when the glove would be arriving. I did not receive a return call. I called again 2 days later and did not receive a return call. I called several times after that with no return calls. On march 27th 2014 I emailed and asked for a refund but have not received any reply from Twins Special.Desired Settlement: I would like the amount spent minus the 15% returned to me.

Thank you for contacting us regarding this customer concern. We regret being unable to do more to assist this customer. Due to delays in production at the factory in Thailand, we did not have the items on hand to deliver the customer's order within the expected timeframe. Therefore, a manager has approved the cancellation of the customers order, and she is being refunded the $86.18 as she requested.

It is worth noting that because of a recently arrived shipment, we currently have a large selection of gloves and other items in-stock. If the customer has any need for equipment, she is welcome to contact us to inquire about the availability of items, and we will be happy to offer her up to 20% off any in-stock items in her next purchase.

Review: I placed an order for a pair of boxing gloves with the company on Nov. 6, 2013; my credit card was billed for $119.54 even before the order had completed processing. There was no change in order status, so I called about 4 weeks later to inquire when I could expect to receive the item. I was told that the item had to be custom-made in Thailand and that shipping would be delayed because of the holidays. I accepted this at the time, but still had not received the order by Jan. 16, 2014, so I submitted an inquiry through the company website. The company never responded. I therefore followed up by phone and was told that the items were about to arrive from Thailand and would soon be shipped to my Canadian address from the company's US location. The person I spoke to offered me a 15% reimbursement on the purchase price because of the long wait. I accepted this, but cautioned the person that the transaction was unlikely to go through as I have had to change my credit card number due to fraudulent transactions (unrelated to the seller about whom I am making this complaint). I never received the reimbursement. I again contacted the company through their website on Feb. 14 and again have received no reply. The person I spoke to was polite and apologetic, but the merchandise still hasn't arrived, and it really has been an unreasonably long time.Desired Settlement: Would like to receive merchandise or else have my money refunded.

Review: On December 27, 2013 an order was placed with Twins Specials for various boing equipment as advertised by Twins Special. The cost of $240.13 was paid online by credit card on the same date. As of the date of this complaint nothing has been received on the Order. Dailey calls and emails to Twins Special have gone unanswered for the past two weeks. No one ever answers the phone and most of the time the caller is advised that the mailbox is full. While there is an online texting site, no response has been received about the order. Order number is [redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like to simply get the equipment that was ordered. However, at this point unless a prompt delivery can be made I would like a refund. As much as anything else I would just like to know what has happened to the order and when I could receive it.
