We told the customer we would see what we could do and it would take a couple days to get an answer from CooperBy the time cooper got back to us the customer had already gone online and bashed the dealershipInstead of customer waiting to hear back from us he went online and made statements and made a complaint to Revdex.com, all things that we can never get backWe got the tires the customer asked forBecause reviews can't be removed and this has been reported to the Revdex.com and would effect our rating we will give him one offerThe following is our one and only offer; all online and Revdex.com reviews must be removed, when he confirms all reviews are removed we will get the tires the customer wants and mount and balance them for a total of $He will be responsible for the difference in cost which is $a piece and $to mount and balanceThe customer will need to call and let us know when the reviews are removed

The codes that kept reading were they same issues from the 1st week of my purchase. Ultimate Rides said they attempted to fixed it but failed every time Half the time I went in there they would just clear the code and tell me to call if and when it came back on. I have a written letter from 2 of their ex employees telling me what was done on my vehicle if anything. I was not rude to anyone at Ultimate Rides until I kept getting lied to about everything. I talked to every person at CAC so Ultimate Rides can not tell me who I did or didnt talk to when you are pursuing action on a dealership CAC transferred me to almost every department and I stand by what I was told by CAC I am not going to believe a dealer who has constantly lied to me.  I should not have to turn around and pay another 1500 down on any car when I just put down 5500. CAC told me if I transferred cars out that were the same price there should be no down payment needed or anything else. I was told I could come in to look at a vehicle if I was interested for trade then I went in and Ultimate Rides decided then I needed a down payment. The car had dirty razor blades and trash in it lights were dinging and flashing. You think I am gonna go from one headache of a car to another with triple the miles on it NO WAY. I know they did not run my info through CAC again or my husbands because it would have showed on my credit report and I have proof it is not there.  I wanted out of my car BECAUSE IT IS NOT SAFE FOR ME AND MY FAMILY TO BE IN. I BET YOU WOULD NOT DRIVE THIS CAR WITH YOURSELF OR FAMILY IN IT WHEN YOU ARE DRIVING AND YOU CAN NOT ACCELERATE.  I was told if I did not feel safe they would trade it in. Do you think I wanted to drive 35 miles to Ultimate Rides and back home a couple times a week to be lied to and not being able to get my vehicle fixed. Any human in there right mind would contact a lawyer and take other steps when they buy a car that has the issues mine do and they can not be fixed. Yea it is very easy to clear a engine code until it comes back on again. All Ultimate Rides told me is that they will loose money if they traded me out a vehicle even one for the exact same price. You think they would want their customer safe and happy. Revdex.com:

[redacted]  I still feel they are responsible for the starter as they were the last people to touch the truck.  Also it is a lie that the mechanics were gone at 5:00 PM they were all walking around in the shop.  I never had an issue with the starter prior. I did have an oil leak and that is why the truck was put up on the lift to look at it.  The starter problem happened after  it was taken down off the hoist.  They did back it out of the garage but then it wouldn't start again. I had someone that with me that witnessed it all.  I may have been a little lose mouthed but I was on the phone with my grandmother and she heard one of those gentlemen yelling at me that I need to get my truck off their property for liability reasons and they wanted to tow me across the street.  This is a business and they need to take responsibility for the starter problem as it was fine prior  Thank You

When this customers belt broke on her car we went above and beyond to get the car to our service center and get it repaired in a timely matter. We had towed the vehicle ourselves to our location in Appleton. Unfortunately to change this belt it is very time consuming, the whole front clip of...

the car has to come off, its not an easy job. After the customer had been here getting this service work done at no charge to her, we had never heard back from her. The car passed the safety inspection, and there is no way for any mechanic to know if a timing belt was done. During a safety we are not required, by law, to take an engine or transmission apart ( and this is the only way to know about timing). There is no way to help a customer out with repairs if we don't hear from them, which in this case we assumed everything was fine with the vehicle because we never heard back from the customer. I received an email from her warranty yesterday that they are covering her repairs with a different service center. When this car was purchased there were ne known issued and it passed the safety. Unfortunately when you purchase a used vehicle and drive it for awhile things break. This is completely normal. This is a highline vehicle, which means repairs are more expensive then with an American made vehicles. The customer should not have purchased such a highline vehicle if they cant afford the repairs or they should have bought a new vehicle.

[redacted]I am rejecting this because after the "fixed" the car they manually turned off the light. It did not go off by itself. When I went to pick the car up as soon as I pulled off the lot the light turned back on. I was told that it would reset itself in two weeks when it did not go off I contacted Ulitmate Rides again in regards to it being on still! They checked the light again and turned it off manually again. Of course it came right back on. So when they had claimed to fix it the first time they did not fix everything! The light has not been off since I've had the vehicle so it wasn't off for some time it has always been on and that was communicated with them over the phone in person and through text.

We spoke with the customer yesterday 8/21/14 and made an agreement with him to settle.

This car had no check engine light on or had no known problems when she purchased it. She had issues after she drove it. We took care of the issue it had when we picked it up for her. She bought a used high performance car that she obviously cant afford to repair. She also did this same exact thing with Holiday. She should have bought a brand new car and maybe it would have been problem free even though new cars have problems too. She owns the car and she is responsible for the repairs. We have no idea what happens with the vehicles after they are purchased and leave the lot. The car was safety inspected and passed. We will gladly repair the car at our dealer cost for her but that is all we can offer. We will charge our dealer cost for parts and only $60 an hour for labor. She also must have had it fixed since the warranty company contacted me that she made a claim on the warranty.

The customer had a problem with the car a week after purchase and we took care of the problem as he states. The problems with the car after the repair we did is normal when buying a pre owned vehicle. The vehicles are used and not new, and every vehicle breaks. There were options to the customer to...

purchase an extended warranty on the car at the time of delivery and if there would have been one purchased more then likely all of his repairs would have been covered (depending on what coverage ). This customer hasn't called and asked us what kind of help we could give him on any repairs since the converter issue. We could have saved him hundreds on repairs here since he bought the car here. When parts are replaced in cars, used or new, a dealership does not have to disclose this to anyone. Those replaced parts could have been done elsewhere before we purchased the vehicle as well. Then the customer is having a new problem a year later, still hasn't called for any ricing from us and its been a year. When we safety inspected this car it checked out great and that's why the sales person assured him it was a great car. Once the car is in new ownership we have no way of knowing what can happen. The customer needs to understand that he bought a used car not a new car and all cars new or used break. If he would have called the service department we could have saved him money but he chose not to. We will not refund any money. He is more then welcome to trade the car at trade in / wholesale value only, we don't give retail on a trade.

We have told this customer numerous times to take the car back to the repair shop that did the head gasket repair. When doing a head gasket repair there should always be  a resurfaced head and check for cracks. This customer has an extended service contract that has coverage and he should call the number on that warranty with further questions. If it is a covered item they will see that it gets repaired. (Ultimate Rides are not the ones that disassembled the engine nor did we do the head gasket repair)thanks,[redacted]Ultimate Rides Inc[redacted]  **

The air conditioning worked during our safety inspection and when the vehicle left our lot. The customer did call about It not working and [redacted] did tell him to get an estimate and then fax it over. We told the customer that he would need to bring the truck back to the dealership in order for us to...

cover the repair even thought the customer signed a form agreeing to buy the vehicle AS/IS with  no extended warranty. The customer didn't want to bring the truck back to us so we told him we would send him a used compressor he would just have to pay someone to put it in the truck. The customer then stated they already had the air conditioning fixed. After repairs are done at another service facility there is nothing we can do. We do not and have never paid other repair shops or sent checks to customers who say they need repairs no matter where they live. We have sent the customer a check for $100.00 in agreement of all repairs (this is our cost on a compressor). This is all we can offer. Thanks

THERE IS NO WAY FOR THE DEALERSHIP TO KNOW HOW ACCURATE THE FUEL GUAGE IS. WE FIXED THE PROBLEM AT NO CHARGE TO THE CUSTOMER. WE SHOWED HIM HOW TO START THE CAR AFTER HE HAD FLOODED IT. AT THAT TIME THE CAR NEEDED A TUNE UP, WHICH IS NORMAL MAINTANENCE AND BECAUSE HE PURCHASED THE CAR FROM US WE...

WOULD GIVE THE CAR A TUNE UP AT A DISCOUNTED RATE, BUT THE CUSTOMER CHOSE TO GO ELSEWHERE FOR THE WORK AND PAID DOUBLE WHAT HE SHOULD HAVE. IF THERE IS ANY PROBLEM WITH A REPAIR THAT WE DID WE WILL LOOK AT AND REPAIR AT A DISCOUNTED RATE, ALSO FOR ANY FUTURE REPAIRS HE WILL ALWAYS GET A DISCOUNTED RATE EVEN THOUGH THE CUSTOMER DECLINED ALL EXTENDED WARRANTYS OFFERED.WE UNDERSTAND THAT OLDER SPORTS CARS CAN BE EXPENSIVE TO MAINTAIN.

Unfortunately, there is no way that we could have done anything to the starter by starting the truck and pulling it out of the shop. You just don't know when a starter may go out. Sorry, but we are not going to replace the starter or pay for one.

I did not speak with ultimate rides on 8/21/14.  I called them on 8/18/14 to see what was going on with the car. They then advised me they wanted to charge me $625 to fix it. I asked what they offer on warranties on their repairs and they never responded back. So I sent a text message to the service manager about it and finally got a response of 30 day warranty on 8/20/14. But no resolution on the $625 they want to charge me for this repair.  I am looking for them to cover the full cost of this repair not just half of their expected cost.

We were unaware of the customer having any problems with the vehicle. We didn't hear from anyone until a man came to the dealership to tell me that the customer had problems with the vehicle. I told the customer that if they wanted to bring the vehicle back we would do the repairs at our cost. They...

had also said problems occurred in TN not 3 hours from Appleton. The customer did not purchase an extended warranty , which they were offered, and a warranty could have covered the repairs. The customer states they had a warranty and it would be "over" but they didn't purchase one. The vehicle was safety inspected before the purchase and there were no issues with the parts listed. The vehicle was driven quite a ways and its a used vehicle things are going to break. We did not build the vehicle Chevrolet did. The customer is still more then welcome to bring it to the dealership for the repairs at our cost. Thanks

I do not accept the response received from Ultimate Rides on August 27th via the Revdex.com online. When fist reporting this complaint to the Revdex.com I wrote a very detailed complaint that included all incidents with the car and I included all receipts. The response from Ultimate rides was very brief and not detailed at all. They did not address all the issues I brought up. I will respond to Ultimate Ride's response back to me line by line.
They stated that there is no way for them to know that the fuel gauge was broke. The day I bought the care I tried talking down the price of the car and Shawn told me that they could not lower the price because they spent a lot of money inspecting the car. Making sure that the fuel gauge was working should have been covered in their inspection. Ultimate Rides did tell me there was a certain way to start the car, which was after my car wouldn't start and I had it towed to them. As already stated in my complaint, I contacted multiple Mazda dealerships and they all told me there is no specific way to start this car. In the response back from Ultimate Rides they stated "At that time the car needed a tune up". This is not the reason the car was towed down to them on June 30th and this was not the issue at hand. The car would not start and it was due to Ultimate Rides preforming inadequate work on the car on June 20th when they had to replace the coolant reservoir and fuel sending unit while they were trying to fix the coolant senor and fuel gauge. Also, during the time they had the vehicle on June 30th there was a cylinder #2 misfire. They did tell me they would repair the car, but at this time I was dissatisfied with their work and I wanted to have the car fixed by a certified mechanic. I drove the car up to Matthews Tire in Appleton, WI and they fixed the issues that were occurring at the time. I have included a quote from [redacted] Manager of the College Ave. store, " Here are a couple of the issues that we found when the vehicle was brought to us. The radiator looked like it was replaced, however the transmission lines were leaking and we found that the lines were stripped. The sway bar was broken on one side. The engine light was also on and two codes were found(po300-random misfire and po076-VDI solenoid). On another visit there was a fuel smell and we found that a gasket by the fuel sending unit was not properly installed and was causing a leak.- [redacted]." As stated by [redacted] the radiator was replace but they put it in wrong. The mechanic could not get the replaced part off of the car and therefore a outer coolant device had to be installed. Ultimate Rides stated that they would fix any future repairs and honestly I am not interested in taking this car back to them ever. I would just like to be compensated for all the repairs/re-work I had to have done by Matthews Tire. In my initial complaint I included these receipts and I can send them again if necessary. When Ultimate Rides stated that older cars can be expensive to maintain, I do agree, but in this case I feel that Ultimate Rides is at fault. I responded back to everything Ultimate Rides had to say and I just want to discuss one more item that was not addressed. As stated in my initial complaint and by [redacted] there was a gas leak due to the fact that Ultimate Rides did not install the fuel sending unit properly when they were trying to fix it on June 20th.
In closing, I hope that this issue can be resolved in a professional manner. I have been through a lot of issues and repairs with this car within the first two months. Since having all issues mentioned in my complaint fixed by Matthews Tire on July 21st, I have not had any further problems.
Thank You, [redacted]
