[redacted] signed up for United Advisors Group LLC (UAG) service on 4/29/2014. 
She has paid 5 total payment this far.  UAG [redacted]n split her first payment into two payments as she needed financial assistance...

which we don't normally do. 
The status of her file is the consolidation is till pending with the Department of Education. The consolidation can take 60-120 days depending on the work load the Department of Education currently has. Our company UAG has no control over the DOE and cant rush their process. We are simply a service that people can use to process the paper work for you as you have an accountant do for your taxes. Our disclosures clearly state that the client can do this on their own, we are not part of the government and and simply provide a service. 
This client was informed to qualify for disability discharge she must fax us the disability discharge paper work other wise we cant apply for that option. She said she would fax it in on 6/19/2014 and it still has not been received. 
The next step in the process will be the DOE will send the repayment terms and summary upon approval to finalize the process. At this time we cant stop the consolidation. 
This file has been processed accurately and efficiently as we try to do for all clients. 
We are glad to answer any questions [redacted] still has at this time or we can stop processing her consolidation and she can take it over from here. UAG can offer a refund on 1/2 the feels paid at this time as everything was done as promised in the disclosures. 
Please let me know what the client prefers and we can proceed accordingly.

Thank you for sending UAG this complaint. The legitimate issue at hand was resolved today 4/23/15. This client was canceled out on 4/9/15. When the account was closed a message is uploaded to GTX the escrow company that handles all funds. GTX forgot to close the account...

and charge the client more payment when they were not suppose to causing an over draft fee for the client. UAG contacted GTX they apologize and will cover the over draft fee. We have never put this client on hold for hours at a time the opposite he hung up on a representative by the name of [redacted] and was very rude. There is not reason to mail his all the documents when he has a secure login to the CRM and can view the documents online 24/7. His story does not ad up. The account is closed and there is no longer a working relationship between UAG and [redacted]. If you need further information please reach out to UAG.

This client was upset because she received multiple letters from fed loan saying the income verification isn't completed (program...

placement phase). which is the last step. UAG explained to the client that her income was just recently received and submitted tot he servicer for the program placement phase. This takes 3-7 weeks on average to get approved by the servicer.  Client understood and would like continue with UAG services. This is a complaint in error as this client has been cancelled with UAG for a year. The client was not even a client for a month when she told UAG she was cancelling to work with another company.   Client will reply to the Revdex.com as well. It is clients like this that have placed so...

many UN necessary complaints on the Revdex.com about UAG without looking at the details or reading the contract before submitting a complaint. The contract gives the details of UAG's service very clear with a very fair refund and cancellation policy. payment on 3/9/15 as of 2/18/15 and the payment did not get made yet. The funds are being released to the client and the client will take care of on is own. The client has been informed to call UAG with any question going forward. If you need more information please contact UAG.

The client was in forbearance because he told UAG he could not make the payment for the Income based program. This clients account has been closed with UAG and GTX (escrow company).

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I have tried to fax my 2 pay stubs to UAG three times now, we have tried to call [redacted] at ###-###-#### three times this past weekend leaving messages with her two times once on Friday, March 13th and again yesterday afternoon, March 16th.  Not once did we get a phone call back in a timely manner.  They only time they started called us back is once I filled this claim against them.  They said that they have "done everything according to schedule" if that was the case then why did I end up getting the bill from FedLoans and that loan come due with nobody contacting me about the next step until I finally got a hold of the original guy I talked to months ago ([redacted]).   In my opinion I shouldn't have had to make a phone call complaining about anything.  There was a complete month and a half that they just sat there doing nothing.  When I would call them at the number stated above it would state that the mailbox was full.  I tried every day for a month, finally the message changed and I could leave a message again but no one ever called me back.  I found a different person listed on the internet and left her a message, I emailed and called plenty of times.   I don't know anything nor was I told anything about a secure [redacted], no clue what that is.   I have done a lot of searching online about reviews regarding this company and found LOTS of people stating that it is a scam, everything I have read doesn't sound good.  I don't want to be another one of those people.

UAG engages in fraudulent and unethical business practices. Not only did they take my money for 9 months with no proof of any work done on my student loan consolidations, they only responded when I stopped paying them monthly payments for the "services" they allegedly provide. In addition, they are highly unprofessional, rude and unresponsive. My case was not worked on until I sent strongly worded emails indicating I was filing a complaint with the state Attorneys General office. After repeatedly trying to cancel with them, I was told I "could not cancel." Suddenly, and without any communication in writing or verbally, my loan was sold to a company I did not approve or choose. Because of UAG's fraudulent practices, I lost a considerable amount of money to them and now have a loan with a servicer that was far worse than the government loan servicer I had before.. This company should be shut down and I am hoping my complaint with the California State Attorney General will do so. I urge others who have been scammed by UAG to contact their state attorney general and file a complaint.

was submitted and cancelled for lack of income; feel free to call them at the DOE and they will tell you the same at 800-699-2908. Fed Loan/DOE mailed a notice out directly to you, the first to old address in ID and then again second to your new address in CA. Both are request asking for proof of income. If the client would have sent his income to UAG or Fed Loan Servicing the DOE when you received the letter, your loans would have been consolidated by 9/19/2015.He would have been out of default,  and his taxes would not have been withheld. The loan details show that you have been in default since 10/3/2014. When you call Fed Loan, the department of education, or your collections agency, they will confirm that you should have been having 25% of every paycheck you received since 10/3/2014, as well as your 2014 taxes, garnished.At this time the clients account has been closed and a courtesy fund has been made. UAG spoke to this client on 11/19/15. Eve a manager at UAG called the client and explained that she was responsible for making her own lender payments in September and October. Prior to this she was in forbearance. She was reminded that her income increased and this caused her lender payment...

increase as these repayment programs are based off of the clients income. the client informed UAG that she is now unemployed. The client is to send UAG a cert letter explaining that she is unemployed or her letter of unemployment so UAG can submit this information to the servicer. It takes the servicer 2-8 weeks to approved once the income verification is submitted on average. This will bring her payment to a $0 qualifying payment due to her income. After I could not reach your business to get an explanation I contacted the student loan providers and was informed that I was late on two payments on one loan where the forbearance had expired in November and the other loan had no payments made. You say I'm confused, I am confused as of how I have been paying you monthly and you were letting late fees and interest pile up? 
You also claim that you have needed a paystub and tax information from me, why haven't you tried to contact me before now for that information if you needed such? What have I been paying you for if you are letting my credit score get destroyed?

This client has decided to move forward with UAG. Loans were consolidated on 1/23/2015. This client already made a Fed Loan Servicing account. For some reason...

the program placement was submitted but is still pending and has not gone through. UAG is re submitting and will make sure it goes through on behalf of the client. The program placement is the last phase of the program until 12 months have passed. The client is to call [redacted] at ext 3** with any questions.
