signed up and in his welcome call. Client did not send them to us so we submitted his consolidation without them as a standard. Clients loans were consolidated but we couldn't do program placement since he did not send his proof of income. Client had a few bounce payments and this month they call because they were 90 days past due. UAG applied for a forbearance to bring them current and requested income. Explained that we consolidated and they were the ones that did not send us their income.
This client did not qualify for a refund but was awarded one any way.

Thank you for sending United Advisors Group LLC this client complaint. This client signed up for UAG services on 1/13/14.  The consolidation was submitted and everything went according to plan for year one in the income based repayment program.  On...

1/23/15 [redacted] a UAG employee called the client to discuss the annual renewal of the Department of Education program. [redacted] the UAG employee provided the client with her Nelnet (servicer) online access and told the client UAG needs her 2 most recent pay stubs to show the lower income and take care of program placement stage. The client called was a little confused so [redacted] talked her through the process to make sure they were on the same page. On 1/26/15 UAG received the pay stubs needed to move forward via fax. Another employee by the name of [redacted] tried to do the program placement phase at this time but the client has changed her online access not allowing UAG to complete the process.  A voice mail and email have been sent to the client trying to collect her online access information. The client is on schedule and everything has been done correctly and according to the disclosures for UAG service. This complaint to the Revdex.com for reason that are not accurate and negativity effecting UAG. This is why it is so important for clients to thoroughly read the disclosures and ask more questions if they don't understand.  UAG provides a service that any person with federal student loans can do on their own. Which is fully disclosed as you hire a accountant to do your taxes to ensure they are don't currently instead of doing them on your own. The last step will take UAG no time at all once we get the online access from the client to proceed. If we don't hear back from the client by Friday 3/10/15 the account will be closed, payments will stop and the client can finish on her own. United Advisors has consolidated the clients Student Loans through the Department of Education programs with no problems. This client was very upset because she does not remember being told to make lender payments. This is stated on the signed agreements. According to the notes her file [redacted] a previous employer did explain to the client when she singed her renewal agreements. It has been quite a few...

months since she was told. [redacted] from UAG went over what we do at this point to get her on track and told her to start making her lender payments right away. The client has agreed and will make both UAG and lender payments. She understands and will be responding to her Revdex.com complaint shortly. Thank you for sending UAG this complaint. This complaint is ridiculous as the client caused herself to get garnished by the Department of Education. When this client signed up on 8/9/14 she was in default on her current student loans for not making payments for at least a...

year. When you are in default you must call the collection agency the Department of Education uses and getting into a rehabilitation program to get out of default to submit the consolidation to enter a income based repayment plan. UAG cant negotiate a payment for the client with the collections agency. The client was instructed to call and get into a rehab program as soon as possible. The client wrote tot he Revdex.com and wants a refund because she did not get into a rehabilitation program and did not make payments on her student loans for more than 1 year. That is no fault of UAG as UAG can only coach not pay bills for the client. The $275 the client paid is being refund and UAG will no longer assist this client moving forward as she is trying to tarnish UAG's name for her own fault of not paying her bills in a timely manner.  If you pay your bills you wont get garnished simple as that. certification letter. UAG has reached out to the client many times with out response or a fax of what is needed at this time. Communication is a very large part of this process. If UAG cant get a response from a client it puts the whole process on hold. If the client can call UAG we can discuss the next step or cancel out the file. Thank you for your time.

That information is incorrect the contract clearly states the service fee does not go towards the balance of your student loans. The Revdex.com rating is low because UAG gets people complaining that have not read the agreements and complain about incorrect items likes this. The agreements signed to begin services clearly state the process and breakdown the fees. By signing the agreements a client is acknowledging they haveread and understand the terms and conditions.  There is even a 14 day full refund and cancellation policy to give clients plenty of time to review.

UAG submitted the consolidation and program placement for the federal student loan with the department of education which was approved for a $22.35 Income based forgiveness program as promised. The program is an annual program and ended in July. The new annual program placement was submitted on time...

This is a complaint in error as this client has been cancelled with UAG for a year. The client was not even a client for a month when she told UAG she was cancelling to work with another company.

It is clients like this that have placed so many UN necessary complaints on the Revdex.com about UAG without looking at the details or reading the contract before submitting a complaint. The contract gives the details of UAG's service very clear with a very fair refund and cancellation policy. UAG's Revdex.com shows many complaints but it does not say how many of the are bogus and should be removed hurting our reputation.

[The company did not email me, they left a voice mail and I called back, again no one answered. I did not sign up for any services from them, they were formerly known as student loan managers who I did sign up with. I just changed my access on 3/6/15 and they are claiming that they tried to access my account on 1/26/15, they created the account and made my username and password so they absolutely could have accessed my account in January. They are saying I hired and accountant to do my taxes. No. Why would I hire someone in California to do my taxes?? This makes no sense. I worked with student loan managers to consolidate my loans last yea r. That company merged into this company. I never personally signed up for anything with this company I did contact them about the renewal they said I needed to do. But when I renewed I was under the impression that they were managing my student loans like the student loan managers had been doing, but they are not. They are not servicing my loans nelnet is and they are the only people I need to renew my income  information with and the only people I should be paying.]

[redacted] signed up with UAG services on 8/6/14 with [redacted].  I'm sad to hear the the client is unhappy with our services at this...

time.  In regards to the complaint of having to call her servicer we are upfront and tell our clients in the contract and compliance they may need to assist us from time to time through out the process. There are no surprises in our service and we provide all information in the contracts as well the compliance script read to each client. We have a team in place to answer all client calls and ensure all questions are answered. I do see several client calls between client relations and the client. I do see that one of the calls was with in 14 days of sign up which is the time frame for a full refund. At that time the client did want to move forward after speaking with the UAG employee but I can honor our policy and cancel this contract out with a refund minus $30. The client has made 3 payments  of $280, $200.31 and $200.31. Each payment has a non refundable $10 processing fee charged by GTX Trust company. The total refund will be in the amount of $650.62. This request has been submit and takes 3-5 business days. We wish [redacted] the best and please don't hesitate to call with any further questions that present themselves in the future.
