Lost Package.....can't call & speak to a human to inquire
I absolutely detest being put-off by a machine. I needed to ask a question about a package that has been lost in the mail in Fresno 93703. There's no way to speak to a human being. Machine tells me do what I've already done online for several days in a row, now. I need someone to actually check the postal truck. We've contacted one of the delivery persons (it's never the same one) with absolutely no results. We never have the same delivery person so there's no way to recheck with them. I'm so tired of this "modern" way of doing things...which means doing nothing at all...no customer service whatsoever. I'd drive to the post office, but I have no means to do so and it's way too far to walk for me at my age & health issues. It's a downright shame that what was once a wonderful service to the public has now become just like every other government entity...inaccessible.

I have no idea if I'm posting this in the right place, but it's the best place I can find The *** in my area, ZIP 85019, constantly delivers packages and mail to us that isn't ours, and delivers packages that ARE ours to the people living on the next street over We've spoken to them several times with no improvement

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response If you wish, you may update it before sending it.] Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolvedFurthermore, I would like USPS to do a better job other than make statements of, "There is no guarantee of mail." We have had issues of multiple packages showing up this late and have another package that is lost at the momentThey charge to have a service provide for their customers, but really DO NOT have any accountability or business ethics they followThere is no reason 50% of our packages recently get mixed up and lost in their phoenix locationIt is very irresponsible and our company may just start using another carrier, that doesn't have such a high failure rate to it's customers Regards, [redacted] ***

I love USPS especially first priority insured mail .This is a honest and honorable organization

A few months ago I ordered an item online from a seller on ebay When the item was shipped to me, the address on file was for an apartment that I last lived in but no longer do I have an active forwarding request with the USPS that is supposed to forward any mail from them onto my new address The forwarding request was never referenced by the USPS, and as a result, the package was sent back to the sender's home-town USPS After recognizing a mistake had been made by the tracking locator online, I contacted USPS customer care which assured me in no uncertain terms that the item would be resent to my current address Weeks went by as I tracked the package from home and the item remained at the USPS office until finally it was marked as "DISPOSED OF" I have tried multiple times to discuss this with USPS who is claiming that financial responsibility for their mistake will have to fall on the item's seller because they have a policy of no refunds unless an item is "insured" They messed up, were given an opportunity to correct the mistake and then doubled down by destroying the package and shifting the onus of responsibility I would like them to refund me the $for my package

Please see attached

In the last month, no one on my street has received mail four times, two of them being yesterday and todayThere have been many instances of things not arriving at allThe USPS has not resolved the problems, which have been going on for monthsThe problem appears to be at our post office: OAKLAND PARK INNIS RD COLUMBUS, OH **SSN [redacted] You can rarely get through when calling, the line rings busyThey are well aware of the problemIt's a major problem and I am turning elsewhere because nothing else has worked

I sent a white 8xwindow envelope using USPS Certified Mail (so I could attach it to a tracking number) on Monday, December 7th, in West Los Angeles, CAThe envelope contained very sensitive material: my headshot (shown through the window of the envelope), an application containing all of my personal details such as phone number and address, and a DVD with a singing auditionBy that evening it had arrived at the USPS processing facility located in South Central LA, area code By Wednesday, December 9th my tracking update stated my package departed the USPS facility at 5:05am and was in transit to the destinationThe destination was a casting office miles away (still within Los Angeles) in Culver City, CA, area code It's also worth noting that since I was sending to a big casting office, there's no way for me to contact them as they deliberately don't give out that kind of informationBy Friday, December 11th, the tracking information hadn't changed so I began to call USPS to find out why it hadn't been delivered yetAfter a few failed attempts to contact a customer service representative via USPS's number (the automated system continued to tell me customer service was not available even though I called on a Friday during business hours) I called a number I found for the facilityBy the third attempt I reached a person who very rudely told me their system must not have been able to read the label and I needed to wait for it to be manually processedWhen I asked her how long that could take she told me "it could take two days or a week." Then when I asked her if she had a way of finding the package at her facility she said she wasn't actually located at the facility, she was just a dispatcherI wanted a second opinion so I called a different local USPS location just so I could speak to a person and not a computerI spoke to a nice guy who told me that that's probably not what happened, but it was a possibilityThen, prefaced with "let me give you some advice," he blatantly said that the processing facility at is a huge location where every piece of LA mail is filtered through and if I wanted to find my mail I'd need to "stay on top of them." Then he gave me two direct phone numbers for the location and the location, but at that point it was past business hours so I had to wait until Monday to call again- although I did try on Saturday morning in case they'd answer, but no such luck So in the morning on Monday, December 14th, I called the location (my tracking information still hadn't changed) and spoke to a friendly womanI told her the situation and she said she'd search the facility for my package, but a few minutes later she came back on the line and told me it wasn't thereShe took down my name and phone number and told me she'd contact me if she found itThen I tried to contact a few times but wasn't able to reach them, so I thought I'd give the number another tryThe automated system once again told me customer service wasn't available, but then I called back again and instead of saying I was calling for information on tracking a package I said I was calling for a refund, and finally I was transferred to a waiting line for a representativeAfter hour, a representative came on the line and I explained the situation once againAfter providing my tracking number she put me on a brief hold then came back on the line and said she wanted to open an investigationI provided her with my name, phone number, home address, the address I was shipping to, what the package looked like and what it containedShe already had my tracking number and the timeline of events, so with all of that she gave me a case number and told me I needed to wait hours to give them a chance to investigate and THEY would be calling me within those hoursI then asked her for a follow up number in the event I didn't hear back (it came in handy later on) so she gave me the number for USPS Los Angeles Consumer AffairsThen I waited hours which brings me to Wednesday, December 16th, My tracking information hadn't changed (so it still says "departed the facility and in transit to the destination" one full week later) and I hadn't heard anything from USPSSo I called the consumer affairs number and spoke to a woman who ended up being the most kind and helpful of everyone, but still with no solutionShe looked up my case number and told me no one had even looked at the investigationThen after doing some research she told me the lady I spoke with at the number sent my case to the wrong USPS location so that's probably whyAfter speaking with her for about minutes (some of that time was spent on hold while she tried to contact the manager at the location, but couldn't get him on the phone) she continued to take action and told me she was going to get a hold him and she'd call me back within the hourThen an hour later she called me back (the first sign of follow through I'd seen since this all started) and said she'd spoken to the manager and he had no recollection of the package passing through the facilityI don't expect anyone to remember the package as I'm aware they probably see thousands a day, I just still hadn't gotten the answer as per why my package hadn't been scanned or tracked if it's moving at all to different facilitiesShe then told me he said the address I was sending to was a UPS location and USPS has a carrier that sends mail to boxes at that UPS location, so it's possible my package was carried straight to that UPS location without being trackedWhen I asked her if that's a common practice, she said unfortunately yes, adding that USPS changed their policy on Certified Mail and it now gets lumped in with regular mail (meaning without tracking numbers) in instances like thisSo she said she'd try to contact the UPS location to see if they could give her information on whether the package had arrived there, but of course it was most likely that UPS couldn't disclose that informationShe said she'd call me again within an hour, but that's the last I heard from herI tried to call the UPS location and was told exactly what I suspected- they couldn't tell me that informationShe also told me she'd just heard from another woman asking about the same package so at least the consumer affairs woman followed through and tried So although the consumer affairs woman I believe tried to help, still no resolution and no accountabilityI've also attempted to call the consumer affairs line since that day and have gotten their voicemail line every timeThe next day, Thursday December 17th, I called the number again, waited for hour minutes and finally reached a representativeI told him the situation (exactly as I had the first time I spoke to someone from the number) but this time I had a case number to provide him with for my "investigation"He searched the case number and my tracking number and began to repeat the same information I'd heard multiple times: it might have been bounced back because they couldn't read the label, it's probably sitting at the location, etcThen I told him I'd heard all of this already and I really just wanted to know what could actually be done to find the packageSo he started gathering information from me such as my address and the address it was being shipped to, information I'd previously provided to them for the investigationSo I asked him why he was asking me for it again, and since I gave him the case number didn't he have all of the information he needed? He then told me none of that information was there and he saw "barely any sufficient information for the case" to which I responded, "so does that mean the lady I last spoke with didn't input the information I gave her?" He just kept repeating there wasn't sufficient information and then finally said "I'm not going to place blame on anyone but that information is not here." So I gave him ALL of the information again, but right as we finished when he was supposed to give me a confirmation number, he told me the system glitchedSo I asked if I could speak to a manager because at this point I was frustrated and felt completely disregarded when all I wanted was to find my package and USPS was clearly refusing to take responsibilityHe told me to wait a moment and give him a second, but then he hung up on meAfter waiting for hour minutes to speak with someone then speaking to him for an additional hour, he ended the call with no solution and no accountabilityOn Tuesday December 22nd, I called the number for the third time and waited minutes before reaching someoneContradictory to what the previous man said, she told me all the information I'd provided was there but she needed to reopen the case because no one had reviewed the case (again)She also told me that the Certified Mail service I paid for is not a guaranteed service, which I was never informed of when I paid the additional fees to have it sent (had I known I would've paid for a service that's actually guaranteed)She also confirmed to me that while it's possible the package was delivered without being scanned, it's equally possible that the package was stolen or lost but they would have no way of knowingSo again, the package could very well have been taken but NOTHING will be done about it if that's the case, so what's to stop postal service employees from stealing or tampering with mail if there aren't repercussions? I was supposed to hear back from someone by December 28th, but I still have yet to see any real follow through nor receive a straight answer and it's seeming most likely that I never will

Hello -
I've attempted to call the Cedar Park, TX post office and have never been talked to so poorly from a customer service rep in my lifeThe employee's name is Kirin (I believe that is how it is spelled) and she claims to be the manager, but she is a pro at trying at talking down to people without understanding the full situationI've spent many hours on the phone yesterday with your customer service reps at your call center who have directed me to call the cedar park location to have my package redirected to the appropriate addressAfter calling the cedar park post office, she asked questions like "why haven't you called the USPS number, and why haven't you tried to intercept the package online" - very condescendingI did take all the appropriate actions before calling her - since the ebay sellers didn't include their return addresses, the USPS online system didn't allow me intercept the package online, which was then transferred to the USPS IT teamShe was very short, very rude, and talks to people like they are stupid without trying to help understand the steps that the person has taken before calling herKirin (spelling) let me know again this morning that I would have to pay a fee to get the package redirected, and I let her know that I confirmed this yesterday and am OK with thisShe then proceeded to arguing with me about the content of the conversation that we had yesterday and I explained that I'm not trying to disagree with her, but simply trying to get my package forwarded to my addressShe put me on hold for minutes and told me my address change was two years oldI tried to ask her to explain and she began with her rant againI received another call from your headquarters this after I spoke with herThe customer service rep left me a very nice voicemail and told me to reconnnect with the cedar park post office and make sure I pay them for the package interceptI called the cedar park post office and sure enough, Kirin answered and yelled at me asking "HOW CAN WE TAKE A PAYMENT FROM YOU, WHY ARE YOU CALLING ALL KINDS OF PEOPLE TO CHECK ON YOUR PACKAGE WHEN I SAID I WOULD HANDLE THIS???" I became frustrated and asked her "why you getting an attitude with me when I am just calling you in regards to the response I received from your headquartersI need to speak with your manager." She told me that she is the manager - I am extremely surprised at thisThe reason I am emailing is to inform the customer care center what is going on at this location, which can hopefully be addressed in a productive manner to reduce the number of customer service calls to your call center an run more efficientlyI truly hope that there can be some action taken to handle situations in a more professional matter moving forward, by the Cedar Park Post office location, specifically by the rep KirinI'll be communicating the same message to the Revdex.com and other 3rd parties to escalate this issue for resolutionI don't need expect anything on my end, just hopes that other people have a better experience than the demeaning and improfessional experience that I had todayThis has truly been the worst customer service experience that I've ever hadThank you kindly for your considerationBest Regards,
Blake K***

Troy, MI **SSN** Post Office Madison Hts Carrier Annex.never answers the phone.the carrier that delivers here never brings my mail to my door when I need to sing, instead they leave a notice even when im at my box and ask if I need to sing he say no then I open my box and there is a notice,so now I have to get it the next day.I don't have a car the po is miles from me,I pay for a service then I get lied to scammed and treated like crap.this is a joke they must have a personal problem with me.its a sad day I kinda feel sorry for the guy

USPS falsely claimed to deliver a package to my residenceNot only was the package not delivered (we grant entry via a callbox linked to our phone, and it didn't ring/no missed calls), they sent a "attempted delivery" message to the seller (Amazon) and didn't leave a redelivery noticeThe customer service rep at Amazon was very helpful and cited 100s of complaints about USPS Prime (Amazon's 2-day guaranteed delivery subscription) deliveries on SundaysGiven the blatant lack of integrity, and with the holiday season approaching, I would not recommend trusting USPS to deliver packages on time
