I am rejecting this response because:
The company admit that proper research was not done, the departments which they need to contact to get the needed information had either  lost or misplaced the files, the rep cound only my asussumptions because she was in the office of the president, accotding to het with no resources and relied soly on what was said verses tangable knowledge. As of today 9/13 I have reached put to the university and explained  that I have access to some of the info but they would need to review there files  so that  the issie could be resolved.

Review: I registered for this university and have already completed my first class this summer in the graduate degree program, majoring in business administration (MBA). I am scheduled for classes in the fall 2014 semester. I have done everything in my ability to request a callback from an advisor regarding the financial aid application process. I have also requested that an academic advisor be assigned. I have been given conflicting information about this. I would like someone to contact me by phone that has knowledge of my account. I need to know the steps, with links on how to confirm my financial aid I requested is properly applied to my account in time for the fall 2014 semester. I believe at this time I have completed everything asked of me.

I am requesting the following information be answered in this forum:

(please number each response accordingly to the below question numbers for clarity.)

1) Can you please confirm the process flow for financial aid process?

2) Where am I at currently in the financial aid process?

3) Is there anything else for me to do at this time in regards to my academic assistance?

4) If anything else is needed, what is this? (please provide clear instruction with link)

5) Can I have an academic advisor assigned?

6) What is an academic advisor's contact information that I can speak with going forward regarding this?

Review: UMUC refused to bill by regular mail. Due to the horrible internet service in Germany I was unable to resolve billing issues via email. I NEVER RECEIVED THESE EMAILS> I was never contacted for an overdue bill via regular mail and I was automatically turned into a collection agency. A phone call or a postal mail would have been ideal in this situation. How can UMUC turn you into a collection agency without ever trying to make contact? I didn't know that I was placed in collections until my credit score dropped by 99 points. Thanks alot UMUC.Desired Settlement: I would like UMUC to remove the extra charges from my account and my credit report. I will pay the bill immediately now that I know its exits. Thank you!

Review: I purchased books through the Book Center at school right after I was admitted. The books were not available to my order was on hold until fullfilment.

I got accepted to another school and canceled my enrollment at UMD.

A few months later, I received the books I had ordered. I called the Book Center and spoke to Deddisun W** who instructed me to return the books and a full refund would be given since I would not be using the books and was not enrolled at school anymore.

I returned the books (untouched and just as brand new as they had gotten to me) as instructed by him.

The Book Center had initially charged me for $147.20 for 3 books.

I called the Book Center multiple times and no one ever seems to work there because no one ever picks up the phone. I left a voicemail and also sent an email through the Book Center page, and no one has gotten back to me.

After the return of books, I only got refunded for $138.30.Desired Settlement: I want the full refund be credited to my account as instructed by your employee.

If this matter is not resolved, I will be escaling this to the Atty General.

Review: I dropped a graduate online class and was told I would receive a 100% refund from the school of bio-engineering. It is almost a month later I have received 0 refund on my credit card. Every time I call the university I have to speak with numerous people and no one takes responsibility for doing anything.Desired Settlement: Full refund as promised for $3111.00
