I moved in march 2nd with my nine month old daughter and saw roaches crawling around It took weeks for someone to spray unsanitary for my daughter

I have noisy neighbors above me, I have complained to the office and to corporate officeI was told since I had a problem with the previous tenants, This issue has been going on about six months or moreIn the lease that everyone signs, it states that the tenant will not make others uncomfortable especially after a center time which is consider, quiet timeThe noise is all hours of the night, I can't rest at night or during the day due to the noiseMy light fixtures and patio sliding door rattles, from all of the stomping and bumping aroundIt almost sounds like some type of abuse going oni am now on heavy medication due to having anxiety attacks and headachesThe previous managers that were at the office had me be a look out for them, I only had a problem with the smell of drugs from the upstairs apartmentThe managers wanted them out but had no way of getting this doneThese tenants hit a car twice and ran into an occupied apartment

Regarding Huntersville Commons in Huntersville, NC - Southwood Realty 1) New staff in the office are very unprofessional and rude; no experience in the industry (admitted by the Regional Manager)2) Grounds are littered with feral cats in which the property management company has even admitted they do not know what to do and have run out of optionsResidents feed cats and management doesn't address the problem3) Landscaping is not kept up with, grass is overgrown, breezeways and pool are not blown off properly, residents do not clean up after their pets (leave bags of feces in the breezeway) and littered all over the common areas, lights in breezeways have been burned out for months, street lights have also been out for months4) Families of 7-living in bedroom apartments5) Pool is unsafe - no monitoring of drinking, residents from other communities using it and vulgar activity around children6) Dumpster areas are littered with trashRealizing the tenants have no regard for their community, this also lies on the management as well to ensure rules that matter are followedThis community is absolutely horrible and I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy Regarding Southwood Realty Woman who answers the phone is a gatekeeperShe will not give you her first name and is extremely rude and unprofessional, will not answer questions, does not offer resolution, talks down to you and interrupts you when speakingIn order to speak with a Regional Manager, you have to leave a message in a general mailbox, they will not allow you to speak with a live personThey dictate to you who is allowed to VISIT you in your apartment! Little do they even realize, residents leave bags of dog feces in the breezeway, they refuse to do anything about the feral cat issue and smell it causes, bedroom apartments have 6+ residents living in them, the dumpster areas are littered with trash; the property as a whole is disgustingSouthwood Realty takes no pride in their property and treats their good residents like trash

Southwood Reality lies and they have the absolute WORST customer serviceI was promised a $6-month lease, and now they are trying to over-charge I am currently a tenant in Ashbrook Village Apartments (for not much longer though), which is under the Southwood Reality umbrellaI signed a month lease for what a month lease charges ($480), with the promise that I would then again sign another month lease for the same rate ($480)That will add up to a month lease for $480....which is what Ashbrook Village offers on their one year "special"The manager at the time [redacted] , promised me that when it was time for me to sign my second month lease that I would be able to sign for the same amount ($480)Now that it is time for me to re-sign a new lease, the company decided to decline the original offer and raise my rent $70!
