Terrible customer service. Do not use this company - the employees are rude and unhelpful. They routinely did not pick up the trash at our business and it overflowed into the parking lot. The excuse was always "we have a different driver". Again, do not use this company.

I called in July to discontinue my service with Updike due to poor service I had prepaid my account from July through September I had requested a refund of August and Septembers fees I have spoken with the company on four different occasions to resolve and get my refund I was told I was due a refund As of today, I have still not received said refund

I have a service agreement with Updike for them to pick up weekly trash from our house For the past weeks, Updike has not picked up the trash I have called their customer service and dispatch phone lines, but nobody ever answers the phone I have tried emailing, yet never receive a response I continue to get billed even though they do not pick up the garbage I would like to have this trash picked up and cancel my service with them immediately, but there is nobody to get in touch with I have had service issues with Updike in the past where they missed a week occasionally, but it has never been this bad and at least there was someone there to answer the phone Please help me

On or about the 30th of October, 2017, my family relocated to *** ** I had observed trash receptacles from Updike Industries on our street and contacted them to establish rubbish collection services for my new residence A charge of $** was placed on my credit card for the container deposit and services were scheduled The container never arrived and took multiple calls over a four week period for it to be delivered The trash was placed curbside no later than 5am on the appointed collection day over a period of five weeks and the trash was never picked up Multiple calls to Updike failed to resolve this issue and service was terminated by telephone Over the past four months, I have been receiving bills, incrementally increasing with a charge for a service that I do not receive Additionally the trash container has still not been removed from my property I am currently making weekly calls to Updike to attempt to resolve this and each time I listen to useless excuses

My trash has not been picked up for almost four weeks WHEN they answered the phone they said they had driver issues Now they do not answer the phone, return messages and emails to them are returned undeliverable We have black bears in our neighborhood and they have dumped my trash on several occasions It puts people in the neighborhood at risk

I paid my last bill in full in January I spoke a guy named Tom and he said he would cancel my account They had cancelled my service by not picking up my trash since then but I am still receiving a bill from them After multiple calls and voice mails I am tired of receiving bills that do not apply I told the last person I spoke with that if I got another bill from them I would report them and I am The bills need to stop coming to my house as I do not get service from them and I do not owe them any money

I contacted Updike Industries on 5/23/to rent a Roll-Off container for a my home renovationsI was advised of their rates and gave them my credit card numberOn 6/1/2016, Efficient Roll-Off charged my credit card $***I received a Statement for Invoice #***, with a due date of 6/30/showing a balance due of $***.**I contacted the company directly and spoke to "Betty" who assured me that this was an oversight on their partShe assured me that the account would be corrected to reflect the initial credit card payment and that the account would be closed
I have now received another statement for the same invoice #*** which now indicates the balance is 31-days past due and has a finance charge of $**added to it
I was billed in full and my credit card charged for payment within days of deliveryThe amount billed to my credit card actually exceeded what the final amount due totaled

Dumpster picked up on Dec As of Aug 2018, I still receive a monthly billI have called monthly and requested the account be closed but to no avail

My trash has not been picked up for almost four weeks I call repeatedly and the phone always goes to voice mail and no one returns the calls I have tried emailing per their instructions and the emails are returned undeliverable because their domain is not workingWhen I DO speak with them, they have records of prior phone calls, but always act surprised my trash has NOT been picked up It is always a driver issue I have requested pickups and been told they would send a truck and I am still waitingI have asked for updates several times on my account because the online payments are not being applied to the account I have not received it yetIn March, the driver backed into my driveway and pushed a trashcan through my ornamental fence and broke it When I called they said they would talk to the driver On a follow up call they told me that driver no longer works there, so I guess the fence is MY problemI do not know what is going on with this company, if they are closing or being sold, but nobody seems to care about good customer service

The business does not fulfill its duties, refuses to answer calls or emails, and when I was finally able to cancel said service, they have continued to charge me for it while sending me bills saying I haven't paidAlso they haven't yet retrieved their trash can which has been sitting for over a month now

About years ago I signed a one year contract for residential customer dumpster service(It was normally a year contract but Tom let me sign it for one year).After signing the contract, delivering dumpster and when the first payment time came around, I fin out they only accept payment from check (or atleast that's what I was told)I told them I didn't have a checking account and I have a prepaid debit.So they just charged the fee for using a debit card.So after a few months, I decided I would just start paying lump sum payments.(Tom said that was fine.)During this year, dumping the dumpster was not a regular schedule.It was supposed to b dumped once a month.After the first year, it was paid in full(even the months it wasn't dumped).I agreed to keep it another year because we still had more cleaning to do and dumpster services are hard to come by in this areaThe second and third year to present, is awfulWhile not under contract, they do not dump on a regular basisThen try to
