I am filing this on behalf of my mother as her *** She entered into a contract with Updike Industries to have them pick up her trash on a weekly basis She did not receive trash pick up for the following weeks 7/1, 7/15, 7/22, 7/and thus far has not received a pick up this week We have contacted them numerous times by email and phone but have received no results We have asked to have their trash cans picked up and removed from the property if they no longer wish to do the service and send us a refund I was told during one of the calls that they had drivers quit and this was the problem We received a call on August 6, in which Sarah left a message stating our collection day was going to be changed from Tuesdays to Thursdays but that they would pick up this week on Tuesday and again on Thursday However, the Tuesday pick up did not happen I called this a.mand left a message advising them once again to pick up their trash cans and remove them from the property an

This company continued to bill us for trash collection services even after they had sold out contract to a different company (without notifying us)We have been receiving invoices for past due payments despite them drafting our account monthly and they are currently sending us invoices showing approx $*** in past due paymentsThis is inaccurate and in the past their invoices reflected incorrect payment transactions which they told us to ignoreHowever we are currently receiving invoicing showing finance charges for a past due balance that has not only been paid, but our account was debited for months no services were providedI have called their office more than 15x leaving >9messages to various departments with no return call or follow up regarding the outstanding balance or lack of services providedI would like my acct closed and to be credited $** for the month that was paid but no services were renderedI have bank statements showing monthly auto drafts as per our agreeme

I have canceled trash service with this company over six months agoI have paid this company for the service performedAbout months or so after canceling I receive a bill in the mail that I owe them for services and late feesI tried calling them numerous time leaving voice mails they refuse to return my callsI was able to talk to a woman one time and she told me that they couldn’t find me in there system and it could have been a mistakeSo another month or so passes and I receive a deposit check from this company for the deposit I made to start the serviceAfter I cash the check I received a bill for the deposit check I cashedSo I just sent a check to pay it back hoping I would just be done with this company but that didn’t happen I have now just receive a letter that I owe them ** dollars by the 15thI really need help with this business I think they are just trying to take advantage of peopleI don’t owe them any moneyI now see their reviews online and so many people

My trash has not been picked up for almost four weeks I call repeatedly and the phone always goes to voice mail and no one returns the calls I have tried emailing per their instructions and the emails are returned undeliverable because their domain is not workingWhen I DO speak with them, they have records of prior phone calls, but always act surprised my trash has NOT been picked up It is always a driver issue I have requested pickups and been told they would send a truck and I am still waitingI have asked for updates several times on my account because the online payments are not being applied to the account I have not received it yetIn March, the driver backed into my driveway and pushed a trashcan through my ornamental fence and broke it When I called they said they would talk to the driver On a follow up call they told me that driver no longer works there, so I guess the fence is MY problemI do not know what is going on with this company, if they are closing or being sold, but nobody seems to care about good customer service

On or about the 30th of October, 2017, my family relocated to *** ** I had observed trash receptacles from Updike Industries on our street and contacted them to establish rubbish collection services for my new residence A charge of $** was placed on my credit card for the container deposit and services were scheduled The container never arrived and took multiple calls over a four week period for it to be delivered The trash was placed curbside no later than 5am on the appointed collection day over a period of five weeks and the trash was never picked up Multiple calls to Updike failed to resolve this issue and service was terminated by telephone Over the past four months, I have been receiving bills, incrementally increasing with a charge for a service that I do not receive Additionally the trash container has still not been removed from my property I am currently making weekly calls to Updike to attempt to resolve this and each time I listen to useless excuses

We started service with Updike Industries in March, We paid the quarterly $** and ended up with very spotty service We paid the next quarterly payment of $** in July, but service stopped altogether so I called and cancelled the service It took four phone calls to get them to cancel the service and pickup their container They were supposed to have issued a refund of $** for the months of August and September but we never gotten the refund I've called them a dozen times, spoke to George and Audry who both confirmed that I would be getting a refund but to date nothing

Updike continuously failed to provide garbage collectionSince paying them for services in January my garbage had not been collected on a regular basisI would call and if I were lucky enough to get an answer they would see they would take care of the problemMost recently, my garbage can set next to the street for over weeks with no pickupI called and emailed and neither were returnedAfter about the 5th call someone answered and I told them that I was unsatisfied with service and I wanted them to collect the trash and the container and terminate my serviceI was told that the route changed and that is why it wasn't picked upI told them that the can has been sitting there for whatever day of the weekI was told that it would be picked up Thursday (8/16)The garbage was not collectedDuring the time of them not providing service, I would constantly have to clean up garbage around the can due to bears in the areaOn Sunday (8/19), I delivered the can to their facility wit

I have been emailing/calling for months to have my account cancelled I have actually spoken to Kevin who claims to be the manager and Audrey who does the billing and have asked to have my account cancelledEach time I am told we will follow up and then nothing but they keep coming by my house to service the can I thought if I respond to Audrey who sent me a bill (so I know the email is good) and stated that effective immediately I wanted my account cancelled that she would respondNOPE I have sent multiple emails and left multiple voicemails over the past months all stating my wish to receive a final bill and cancel the accountTo this day I have not gotten email in return or a phone call to address this request

We cancelled our service in July due to many missed pickups (at least one missed pickup per month)We had an outstanding balance of less than $*** and informed them we would not pay due to the missed pickups and lack of service
After cancellation, the driver stopped coming but we continued to be billed with Updike now charging us late feesWe tried calling where we got verbal confirmation our account was cancelled and that we owed nothingWe continued to be billed and the late fees piled up

was generated but the account is paid and in good status there was nothing reported to the credit companies as there was nothing to report.  It seems to have been a computer Glitch which triggered this statement in error.  We do apologize for any undue stress this caused.
