The company messed up on my auto payment so I had a back balance.I paid the back balance, which I didn't think I owed that mush, over $***Then I received a bill for over $*** right aftermy bill is $** dollars a monthI called and the operation manager Kevin looked at it at that time and said something was wrongThey auto bill my account every month but my bill still goes up every monthNot to mention from day one they don't pick up my trashI pay for biweekly pickupthey probably have missed it times or moreI've called about to times and they say they will look into this and call me back but I've received exactly one call back with a message that they were calling me backNo other follow up callsMy dumpster is sitting full againTried to call today but they were closed due to weather.Maybe I should have researched this companyBy looks at there reviews on the internet and Facebook seems like everyone has the same problem

This company has many internal issues 6/7/I set up residential trash pickup at the house with *** **/9/I realized I had never been billed so I reset up billing with *** to end in October and paid billComplaints through summer of trash NOT being picked up, and I was told driver did not know he had to come to house (not curb) although this was how service was set up11/6/We asked to extend trash service to November and paid bill11/22/Trash overflowing again, complained about poor service 11/25/Two cans empty but one can still full Boat in driveway pushed into septic and prop broken off; trash driver denies hitting boat When we realize we had not had trash service except for once in November, we ask Updike to return $** to us which they agree Instead of check, 12/21/we are sent BILL for $**!!! I call and *** says she will take care of it, $** bill is a mistake, she will have accounting send check 1/20/I am sent another bill for $** now past

We have not had trash service in over three years My husband cancelled the service in and requested that the container be removed That removal never occurred After many calls to the office requesting the removal of the container, my husband “gave up” and stopped calling When he and I married a year and a half ago, I moved in and have been looking at that container ever since I grew tired of looking at it and made a call to Updike on February 3, I spoke with the person who answered the phone I explained the above situation She said that there was a $*** balance on the account She had no explanation of any kind except that it had been accruing since and had not been paid on since that time She said she had no notes on the account I asked for a manager and a man who identified himself as Kevin Norris picked up I explained the situation to Kevin Since that time I have called numerous other times and spoken with Kevin, with the owner, Tonya U***

We cancelled our service in July due to many missed pickups (at least one missed pickup per month)We had an outstanding balance of less than $*** and informed them we would not pay due to the missed pickups and lack of service
After cancellation, the driver stopped coming but we continued to be billed with Updike now charging us late feesWe tried calling where we got verbal confirmation our account was cancelled and that we owed nothingWe continued to be billed and the late fees piled up

I contacted Updike Industries on 5/23/to rent a Roll-Off container for a my home renovationsI was advised of their rates and gave them my credit card numberOn 6/1/2016, Efficient Roll-Off charged my credit card $***I received a Statement for Invoice #***, with a due date of 6/30/showing a balance due of $***.**I contacted the company directly and spoke to "Betty" who assured me that this was an oversight on their partShe assured me that the account would be corrected to reflect the initial credit card payment and that the account would be closed
I have now received another statement for the same invoice #*** which now indicates the balance is 31-days past due and has a finance charge of $**added to it
I was billed in full and my credit card charged for payment within days of deliveryThe amount billed to my credit card actually exceeded what the final amount due totaled

I have been emailing/calling for months to have my account cancelled I have actually spoken to Kevin who claims to be the manager and Audrey who does the billing and have asked to have my account cancelledEach time I am told we will follow up and then nothing but they keep coming by my house to service the can I thought if I respond to Audrey who sent me a bill (so I know the email is good) and stated that effective immediately I wanted my account cancelled that she would respondNOPE I have sent multiple emails and left multiple voicemails over the past months all stating my wish to receive a final bill and cancel the accountTo this day I have not gotten email in return or a phone call to address this request

The business does not fulfill its duties, refuses to answer calls or emails, and when I was finally able to cancel said service, they have continued to charge me for it while sending me bills saying I haven't paidAlso they haven't yet retrieved their trash can which has been sitting for over a month now

Updike continuously failed to provide garbage collectionSince paying them for services in January my garbage had not been collected on a regular basisI would call and if I were lucky enough to get an answer they would see they would take care of the problemMost recently, my garbage can set next to the street for over weeks with no pickupI called and emailed and neither were returnedAfter about the 5th call someone answered and I told them that I was unsatisfied with service and I wanted them to collect the trash and the container and terminate my serviceI was told that the route changed and that is why it wasn't picked upI told them that the can has been sitting there for whatever day of the weekI was told that it would be picked up Thursday (8/16)The garbage was not collectedDuring the time of them not providing service, I would constantly have to clean up garbage around the can due to bears in the areaOn Sunday (8/19), I delivered the can to their facility wit

About years ago I signed a one year contract for residential customer dumpster service(It was normally a year contract but Tom let me sign it for one year).After signing the contract, delivering dumpster and when the first payment time came around, I fin out they only accept payment from check (or atleast that's what I was told)I told them I didn't have a checking account and I have a prepaid debit.So they just charged the fee for using a debit card.So after a few months, I decided I would just start paying lump sum payments.(Tom said that was fine.)During this year, dumping the dumpster was not a regular schedule.It was supposed to b dumped once a month.After the first year, it was paid in full(even the months it wasn't dumped).I agreed to keep it another year because we still had more cleaning to do and dumpster services are hard to come by in this areaThe second and third year to present, is awfulWhile not under contract, they do not dump on a regular basisThen try to
