My argument with Uptown Heating and Cooling is with the scare tactics they use, mis-information they circulate and dis-service they do to customersTheir service contractors put folks against a rock and a hard spot and will force them to shut off working equipment and "red tag them" to frighten them into purchasing new furnaces
The technician was professional and knowledgeable When finished, he discussed his findings and offered a few suggestions He was on-time and completed the work in a timely manner I couldn't ask for better service
Had my AC tune up and was very thorough and informativeNo pressure to do work but received a greater understanding of the functionality of the system and what might be my next steps should my yr old system have issues in the future
Chad did a great job He was timely and efficient I will ask for him every time I schedule a boiler inspection Unlike his predecessor on the job (also from Uptown) he was there to provide SERVICE not make HIS day with an inflated bill which included services which I do not believe warranted the amount he wanted to charge A complaint reduced the invoice by about 50% but even then the 'reason' for the work (input water valve had mysteriously stopped working - hmmmm - whenever did that happen before) was suspect and I will always have a suspicion with regard to motives of 'techs' Uptown sends out Note that I have done over $20,of business with Uptown yet one bad experience will forever tarnish my opinion of them Mr [redacted] should be more attentive and not try to employ a new 'plan' without making sure it meets the business model that he used for so many years to build a reputation of reliability at a reasonable price

I have now recommended them to every person I work with and all my family membersI believe I have found a company that I can trust and will use them for any plumbing, heating, and cooling needs I have in the future Thank you Uptown!!

I've made appointments with Uptown Plumbing, Heating and Cooling times Two of those times, I've been called at short notice and asked to reschedule to another dayThe first time this happened was for a boiler tune up a couple of years ago I got a call asking me to reschedule after I had already left work to go meet the technician at my house I asked if there was any way the tune up could still happen that day, even if it was later than the original window and, after speaking with a few people, I was able to be accommodated It was a frustrating situation to have to deal with, but I was ultimately satisfied with the work performed A couple of weeks ago, I made an appointment to have my boiler & water heater tuned up on Tuesday, October 11th Today, Friday, October 7th, I received a call saying that all appointments need to be rescheduled next week because the technicians will be at a state-wide training Why wasn't this on Uptown's radar earlier? Available appointments that fit my schedule were several weeks out and given that this is the second time Uptown has asked to reschedule, I've decided to use another company even though they are more expensive Again, I've been pleased with the service provided by the technicians, but repeated appointment rescheduling makes Uptown unreliable and difficult to do business with
