[redacted] emailed us on 7/**, as per the attachment we repsonded in 15 minutes. We are a market place for sale.s We work with partners who ship items. Our Partner made a mistake and didn't ship one of the shirts. We were unaware of the issue as the vendor never let us know. We have been contacting the...

vendor to get them to ship another shirt. We expressed this via email to [redacted] on 7/** and 7/**. As of 7/** our Partner hasn't responded. However since [redacted] said, "I will take this to the Revdex.com and social media if this does not get resolved today." we refunded him for the item in question. The refund was for the one shirt and shipping. $58.99. We were trying to get his his shirt, but I understand his patience has run out. Please see the refund attached as well. Have a great day. -Drew

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed...

the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[Your Answer Here]I will return the piece, but Revdex.com should be aware that I took time from my day to take the piece to two jewelry stores in NYC over the weekend and both quickly verified that there was no way the piece was 3 carats. Additionally, one of them questioned whether or not it was even a black diamond and suggested instead that it is a moissanite. This piece was originally meant to be a Christmas gift and the vendor's inability to resolve simple customer service issues led me to have to scramble for a last minute gift to replace the one I purchased online and then go through these steps to report it when it should have been quickly taken care of before the holiday. I am requesting a postage paid means of sending the piece back.

Our small business ran a Perks campaign in November 2016, and are still awaiting payment of an invoice well over a month overdue. UrbanDaddy has been non responsive and nonchalant about payment of our invoice despite our following up numerous times. Bad business practices seem to be the norm for this company.

Customers - do not buy from a company which cheats the small businesses it works with.

Vendors - if you are considering offering your products through UrbanDaddy, STAY AWAY. These guys are deadbeats at best, scam artists at worst.

Review: I ordered some shirts from this company and I never received them. They show they shipped [redacted] who in turn gave it to the [redacted] and they show delivered, but I have received nothing. They are refusing to credit me or give a replacement for the items I did not receive. I live in an apartment building that has a secure system of collecting resident packages. When packages are delivered to a resident, the delivery person puts it into a secured locker and then a unique code is sent to the resident who can retrieve their package by entering the code into the computer at the lockers and once the code is entered and verified, the locker with the package is opened, so I feel confident that no one took my package.Desired Settlement: I would like the shirts that I ordered or without that happening, a credit on my charge card.

Response:

UrbanDaddy

is a marketplace of sale. We do not hold or ship inventory. Our partners do

this. In this case out partner Jared L[redacted] shipped the item to the address

provided and tracking showed delivered. Per our contract we paid Jared L[redacted] on

delivery to the address

provided, [redacted].

Jared L[redacted] refuses to refund any shipments that have successful delivery. Even

though we won't be able to be recouped for our payment, we are offering to make

a one-time exception. The refund should post in 3-5 business days.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved. I found that the items had been delivered to the wrong person and now I have received them, so I no longer have a complaint, since I finally got what I had asked for.

Sincerely,

Review: On June **, I redeemed my Urban Daddy Perk for the Hampton’s Wine Bus Tour (Voucher #’s [redacted] & [redacted]). I wrote to the merchant to express my disappointment with this purchase. Almost every aspect of this trip appeared to be poorly planned and executed. The buses left late and inturned arrived late. Our time at the wineries was poorly coordinated and the wineries appeared to be unprepared for the rush that was being brought in (e.g 4 busses, all with our same group, plus their normal business). At each winery, without exaggeration, the servers were completely overwhelmed, unable to handle the crowds and generally unfriendly and unhelpful as a result of the stress put on them. In the first two wineries we visited, we were unable to even enjoy ourselves and receive the full amount of samples we were entitled to receive because of the service issues as it actually took the entire hour allotted for the winery to get our tastings, leaving no time to enjoy the grounds or the trip overall. At the final winery, where we were at least allotted two hours – it was more of the same, except the time we had to enjoy ourselves in the final hour was cut short because the busses arrived late but left on time and also the live music that was part of the perk wasn’t there because the band didn’t show up!

Overall, as I mentioned this was a poorly executed trip. We were rushed from winery to winery as if it was a game of Bar Golf in college. There was no time to enjoy ourselves, experience the winery and the grounds or anything else one would expect on what should have been a casual relaxing day exploring the wine country of Long Island. Consequently, I must ask Urban Daddy for a refund. As we paid close to $300 for 4 of us to enjoy ourselves and the combination of the above factors, including the no-show live music, I think this is a fair request.

Putting my significant dissatisfaction of this experience that resulted from poor coordination and execution, there still remains the fact that I did not receive the perk in its entirety as it was marketed and sold. The perk was titled Hampton's Music and Wine Tasting, and there was in fact no Music. Also, given the time constraints and service issues, we did not receive the full amount of wine entitled to under the offer. Therefore, I view my redemption to be incomplete and a refund, partial refund or replacement is warranted.Desired Settlement: A refund, replacement or other reasonable goodwill gesture.

Business

Response:

Thank you for the feedback. We appreciate feedback as it helps us continually improve our Perks Partnerships and product offerings. We spoke to [redacted], our partner for this trip, and they confirmed each winery visited was for the allotted time. From their website they state, [redacted]"Tours include several tastings at each vineyard and live music for a duration of four hours." They stopped at the first winery for an hour, the second for an hour, and the thirdfor 2 hours. They mentioned Saturdays are crowded, but the wineries have enough staff for everyone to taste 4 wines in the allotted time. [redacted] did say the buses left 25 minutes late, however they sate in their confirmation email and website."Bus will return at approximately 6:30 pm.""**While [redacted] makes every endeavor to adhere to a schedule, [redacted] is not responsible for delays or cancellations. No refunds or credits will be made for schedule delays or cancellations. All carry-on luggage must be stowed safely in the overhead or under carriage compartments." - Confirmation Email AttachedWhile the buses did leave late, customer still got 4 hours at the winery, and the return time is approximate. Lastly, [redacted] said there was live music at 2 of the 3 wineries. They said the live music is the wineries responsibly. However since we did say there would be live music at all three wineries, we have issued a $50 refund. The refund confirmation is attached. Again we are very sorry for any inconvenience. We do our best to work with partners who can fulfill the experience they promise. While we understand the bus left late, and there wasn’t music, the member still attended the event in full, and [redacted] required full payment for all 4 attendees. The $50 refund is completely given by UrbanDaddy and the most we can offer at this time. Cheers, UrbanDaddy

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved. However, while I do accept the partial refund offered - I would like to emphasize that I do not agree with many false statements in the response, some of which contradict previous written responses from the Company. I am satisfied for the Company to issue me a refund and close this matter.

Sincerely,

Review: On January **,2014 I ordered product from Urbandaddy perks.com I received a confirmation and a confirm number. On February [redacted]I still had not received my order so I e-mailed the help email address. After waiting the 3 business days I still had not heard back so I e-mailed again, the following day I found a phone number which I called and left a message. The answering machine said their normal hours are 10-5 M-F but no one answers that phone. I have been calling and e-mailing once a day since then and have received zero response.Desired Settlement: At this point I just want my money back. I stupidly put this on my debit card so I can't dispute it with my bank since the money is already gone.

Consumer

Response:

In reference to complaint ID [redacted], my ordered material has finally arrived. I never did receive a message back from urbandaddy or the manufacturer but today I did receive my purchase. I consider this matter closed.

Thank you for your help,

Review: On Jan **, 2014 I ordered an OYOBox from Urban Daddy on-line paying with a pre-paid credit card. After a few weeks went by and I had not received a shipping confirmation email, I inquired about my order via email. No response. I emailed again, again, no response. I emailed again and I was told that there had been a mistake and that the order was never placed even though my credit card had been charged. I was told it would arrive no later than last Thursday. It did not. I inquired again, several times, via email, and again, no response.Desired Settlement: I feel lied to, scammed, robbed. The lack of customer service tells me it's intentional. I have asked for a [redacted] several times but I am ignored. I want a FULL and COMPLETE refund ASAP AND I want the OYOBox delivered to my home. It's the LEAST they can do after all the trouble they've put me through. If I hadn't contacted them they would've kept my money and still not sent the item I supposedly purchased. That's STEALING in my book!

Sincerely,

Review: I placed an order w/ this website a month ago for 2 button down shirts, and finally received my package last week. Unfortunately there was only 1 button down shirt inside. I reached out Friday to find out what the issue was and received an email back saying they would look into it. That was 4 days ago. I have reached out since and have received no response. So $60 of mine is floating in limbo and this company doesn't see that as a pressing concern, where I as a first time user of this site see that as a HUGE red flag.

I strongly suggest to look elsewhere for the products they advertise, unless you have can wait a month to receive it and don't mind it being wrong. I will be taking this up with my credit card company and refuting the charge if this is not settled immediately.Desired Settlement: I want my money back.

Review: In November 2013, I ordered an UrbanDaddy Perk (Around the World in Three Months coffee sampler from [redacted]) as a gift for my boyfriend, and I have had nothing but issues with that order. First, there was a mix-up in the [redacted] warehouse for the first shipment, so it was delayed for an extra week and shipped the week of 11/** instead of 11/** as I had requested. The next month, my boyfriend received the same exact coffees he had received in the previous month's sampler, even though he should have received 3 different coffees. I contacted [redacted] twice, once via its website contact form and once via its support email, to inquire about this, and I still haven't received a response of any kind. Lastly, my [redacted]should have received his last sampler box at the end of January 2014. He has still not received a package, so I contacted [redacted] via its web contact form to check on the status of the package. I received an automated message that I would hear back from a representative within 24 hours, but it has been weeks, and I have yet to receive a response.

Because I never heard back from [redacted]'s customer service, I contacted UrbanDaddy's customer service because I ordered the coffee sampler through its Perks website. I have called the phone number listed on its website during business hours 4 times, always receiving an automated voicemail. I have also emailed its customer service email 3 times in February, and although I received an automated email message that one of their representatives would email me back in 1-3 business days, I have never received a response. I don't know what to do because I can't get in touch with a customer service representative from either company, and I'm missing the last shipment in my order.Desired Settlement: This has been an extremely frustrating experience, and since my boyfriend (1) received a late first shipment, (2) received an incorrect second shipment and (3) never received his final shipment, I would like a full refund of the purchase. I can provide the e-receipt from my purchase if necessary.

Review: I purchased 2 deal "perks" voucher from urbandaddy.com of $25.00 each (totalling $50.00) which was advertised as "Two hours of bottomless sangria with a brunch item at [redacted], available Saturdays from 11am to 4pm and Sundays from 12pm to 4pm" from the restaurant [redacted] on the Lower East Side. I was unable to use these by the expiration date because I was going through a move when I was projected to go right before the expiration date of 10/**/2013. Usually, with all of these businesses, if one is unable to use the certificate by the expiration date, the business would honor the price paid for the voucher. However, I called [redacted] on the LES and they explained that they would not honor it at all. I went onto the Urbandaddy website and I first emailed the company because on their site, it states:

"RETURNS ON EXPERIENCES OR SERVICES

As mentioned above you ever feel like UrbanDaddy Perks disappointed in any way shape or form, we’ll return your purchase for a full store credit. The only caveat here is if it becomes clear you’re planning an enormous Ponzi scheme with the intention of bringing down the UrbanDaddy Perks-Industrial Complex.

To discuss returning or exchanging a Perk, please email us or call us at ###-###-####."

I called and left numerous voicemails and I never heard back. Also, I emailed the company on February **because on the site, it states, to email them if I have any questions or complaints. I got an automated voicemail which stated that I would "receive a more detailed response from us generally within one to three business days."

However, I have not heard back from the company, either by phone call or email. I feel helpless and do not know what else to do. Please help.Desired Settlement: To get my $50 back and to get the company to start getting back to customers about inquiries.

Sincerely,

Review: I purchased a "perk" and immediately requested a refund via e-mail, once I learned that the website for the perk did not actually have most of its product in stock. Since that initial e-mail, I have contacted UrbanDaddy at least five times by e-mail, attempted to call the listed phone number on several occasions, and even tried Twitter to get a response. All of my attempts to reach UrbanDaddy, however, have gone unanswered. Despite having a refund policy, what good is a refund policy when no answers your requests for a refund?Desired Settlement: If you look at UrbanDaddy's [redacted] reviews (which, regretably, I only did after my purchase), you will see that many other people have had the same problem. Not only would I like a credit for my purchase, but I want UrbanDaddy to implement changes to their policy that forces them to respond to complaints and requests within 48 hours, as their automatic e-mail responses to inquiries says they will.

Sincerely,

Review: I placed an order (#[redacted]) on August [redacted]; on August [redacted] I sent a mail and received an answer stating:

"...

Order can be expected up to 21 business days after purchase date.

Orders will be shipped within 13 business days of being received.

Standard shipping time is 3 to 7 business days from shipping date, depending on location..."

On September [redacted], I placed another inquiry and received the following answer 4 days later (on the [redacted]):

It's been way over those 21 days and some more and I haven't received any feedback on the order, no shipping date, no tracking number, anything but vague answers.Desired Settlement: The delivery of my order as soon as possible, rush it if needed

Business

Response:

We are very sorry for the delays. Our Partner in charge of shipping had customs and warhouse delays. The item should be going out this week. We will expedite if possible and supply tracking ASAP. Sorry again. Cheers, -Drew

Business

Review: They advertised a product that was completely different when it arrived then how it was described. All I wanted was a full refund and not be subject to paying shipping.Desired Settlement: A full refund of my purchase price and a credit to offset any cost of return shipping.

Business

Response:

We have spoken to the customer they told us:"This item was not as described and is much cheaper looking than expected and didn't even include Jellyfish. Please process this as FULL refund asap." The full transcript is attached. The refund policy is stated on our website and is: "Jellyfish Art will accept returns and exchanges within 30 days of purchase. Only unused tanks can be returned for a refund. A 15% restocking fee will be charged for returned items.Return shipping is not included.Live jellyfish are final sale."We provided all return instructions to customer. I wish we could priovide a return shipping label, but since there was no damage to the item, we have to follow our partners return policy. The customer has to send back at their cost, and there is a 15% restocking fee. I am very sorry the customer doesn't like the item, but it is as described. Here is the description:"It comes equipped with remote-controlled, color-changing LEDs. You’ll also receive an essential starter kit with everything you need to maintain the aquarium, along with a six-month supply of jellyfish food. The tank measures 7 by 13.5 by 14.5 inches and has a capacity of 2.5 gallons." The jellyfish were not in the original shipment as they are live animals. Our website indicated, "Live jellyfish will ship once your dry tank is set up. Please see the instructions in your dry tank box to redeem your jellyfish."The customer has sent back the tank and we will refund them, less the restocking fee, once the item has been confirmed as received by our partner. Here is the return tracking number, [redacted]. ([redacted])

Consumer

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:The item was absolutely not as described. It was purposely misleading and no consumer should be responsible for any fees associated with false advertising. This was an item being marketed as a $500-600 aquarium on sale for the bargain price of 380. What arrived at my house was an embarrassing plastic fish tank that looked NOTHING like the photo on the website.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Sincerely,

Business

Response:

I am very sorry you are unhappy. We always do our best to adequately represent out products. We only use images and information we receive from our partner. Here is their website, the images and information are the same, [redacted]. The price on their site is $540.

Review: I purchased a deal on Urban Daddy (UD) Perks and was unfortunately unable to use it by the expiration date on 10/2013. I have been calling, sending emails, and leaving voicemails to UD Perks starting two days after I purchased it to return it. I have not gotten a single response or reply, or even spoken to an actual person up until it has expired, I called the vendor for which my Perk was for to ask if the money can be applied as a credit, but they said I have to contact UD. So now my money is floating around somewhere and I can not get in contact with them to discuss it. This lack of customer service is why I am filing a complaint. I am not the only one, according to their yelp page, UD has a habit of not responding to any of their customer's inquiries. This poor and lack thereof service is unacceptableDesired Settlement: At first I would be content with the money being used as UD credit, but after months and months of non existent service I do not want to do business with UD ever again and I want my money back in full. They do not deserve my service or anybody else's for that matter.

Review: I've ordered two items through this site. Neither one ever appeared, following more than 30 days from the purchase date. I have contacted their support email address 4 times over the last 2 weeks, and called twice. I have still not received any type of resolution, nor have I even received a reply from them at all.Desired Settlement: Please help me get my money back!

Sincerely,

Review: We are a local day spa that ran a feature with UrbanDaddy. The accounting team always seemed like something was wrong. I have every email back and forth. They kept seem to be buying time and not wanting to pay us per our contract. They have since stated they have no idea when they can pay us due to difficult financial transition paths. They go out, lure you in to run a feature, make money off of your name and then refuse to pay you. We have honored all of their certificates by law, paid out these expenses, and now they refuse to pay us. I have all supporting documentation.Desired Settlement: We want payment.

Business

Response:

We sincerely regret the delayed time frame in which your organization was paid for this event. A transition in personnel led to some significant delays. I have been advised that the balance was paid on 2/**/16 in full.

Review: My complaint is a customer service complaint along with false advertising. I purchased an Urban Daddy “perk” on November [redacted], 2013. It was an order for a scotch delivery from [redacted] via Urban Daddy. The advertisement on Urban Daddy’s site promised shipment on December [redacted]. It also stated: “An exclusive box of the world’s most exquisite spirits, delivered monthly.” This purchase was intended as a Christmas present since it was advertised to ship on December [redacted]. On December [redacted], I received an email from Urban Daddy Customer Service ([redacted]) that acknowledged no shipment from [redacted] and a statement from [redacted]:

Due to phenomenal success with our CURATED collaboration with UrbanDaddy, we are experiencing some slight delays, but rest assured, your order has been processed and we will be shipping liquor to your door shortly.” I then continued to exchange 12 more emails, the last three of which have gone unanswered, with Urban Daddy’s customer service. I finally received my shipment on Thursday, January [redacted] (over a month late) and it was broken. I have pictures if proof is needed. I also would like to note that Urban Daddy and [redacted] advertised “the world’s most exquisite spirits” and [redacted]’s website shows scotch that runs from around $40 to hundreds of dollars. The most expensive scotch I received was around $44 and then it went to $40, $33 and $25 according to my research. I paid $45 for four airplane bottles of scotch; I could have paid $44 for the most expensive one and had a full fifth. Also, only one of the bottles that I received (the $44 one) shows on [redacted]'s website.

[redacted] has no contact information listed so I went back to contacting Urban Daddy which is who made the sale and the company I paid. I have sent three emails to [redacted] in customer service as well as emailed the main customer service line since receiving my broken and falsely advertised order but have not heard anything back. [redacted] also will not answer her phone and you cannot leave a message in Urban Daddy’s general mailbox b/c it states it is full. I would like a refund on my purchase. Please let me know if I need to provide any other details.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded for my order.
