US Federal Contractor Registration Reviews (%countItem)

I had a very good experience with my rep (Melissa) and the process of renewing for SAM. She was responsive and resourceful. We had an issue from an old registration that had to be resolved and she worked through it in a timely fashion and I was very pleased. I would use them again.

US Federal Contractor Registration Response

Thank you for the feedback and for being a valued client.

Our credit card was charged without our permission for a service we did not want or need.
I dealt with Kristen S I began an application online for their services and decided half way through the application that I did not need the service they provided so I never completed the application. I received an email from Kristen Son *** 24th 2017 stating that she had been trying to contact us because she needed more information from us before she could complete our account registration. She said our account was being put on hold until we contacted her. We never contacted her to finish the registration process because we did not want the service she was offering. As I stated earlier, her email dated *** 24th, 2017 said that our account was on hold until we contacted her however when I received our credit card statement for *** 2017, her company had already charged us $599.00 on *** 18, 2017. How can we be charged for something that we never finished signing up for? Anyway, when I saw the charge on our credit card I immediately emailed her telling her that we did not want the service nor did we authorize a $599 charge to our credit card for it and to please cancel. Kristen sent me a link to a website where I had to fill out why I was cancelling their service, so I did. We still did not receive a credit. When I contacted her again another email was sent to us stating that we were going to get a partial refund minus their administrative fees, if I signed an agreement stating that I would not ask our credit card company to challenge the $599 charge. I contacted Kristen again by email asking for a refund, she got angry when I challenged her by requesting the full refund instead of accepting a partial refund. In turn, I emailed her a copy of the email she sent me on 5/24/17 stating that our account was on hold and a copy of our credit card statement showing that they had already charged our account on 5/18/17. I again asked for a refund for the full amount and asked to never be contacted by them again. This resulted in a call from a guy named *** and the message he left was that I was sending hostile emails to his co-worker. His # is XXX-XXX-XXXX, ext *** I have repeatedly told Kristen S that if we do not get a full refund for $599 that I *** be contacting the Revdex.com.

Desired Outcome

I want the full amount of $599.00 to be credited back to our credit card account and I want to be removed from all contact lists they have our company on.

US Federal Contractor Registration Response

We appreciate the opportunity to respond to the complaint filed by ***. First, Ms. IS NEITHER listed as a point of contact for*** NOR the person who signed the contract on behalf of this company. Our point of contact, as well as the person who signed the contract, is Richard H. Ms. grossly misrepresents the relationship between*** and US Federal Contractor Registration, which I'll explain in depth here.*** signed a contract with us on August 27, 2015. The contract called for us to prepare and submit the company's System for Award Management (SAM) Registration, which we did, and subsequently maintain this registration for one year, which we also did. (Please see the attached contract covering this period). At the end of this contract period,*** opted not to renew their services with us. On *** 2, 2017, nearly nine months after their SAM Registration expired, Richard H placed an order with us online to handle the SAM Registration for his company. (Please see the attached contract). Mr. H provided his credit card information at the time that he placed his order. To held prevent Internet fraud, we track the IP addresses of computers where all online orders are placed. The IP address for this order traces back to Mr. H address (the same address he used when placing the online order). This IP address is located at the bottom of the contract, if you'd like to verify this information. So Ms. is incorrect that we charged Mr. H credit card without his permission; we charged his credit card only after he placed an order with us AND after more than 10 days had passed. We wait this period of time in line with our refund and cancellation policy. We offer a 48-hour no questions asked refund window to all clients. Ordered cancelled within this 48 hours are not charged anything; orders cancelled after this 48-hour window has closed BUT BEFORE the services are fully rendered are offered a partial refund; and ordered cancelled after this 48-hour window has closed AND AFTER we have completed the services are not eligible for any type of refund. Ms. says that the online order was cancelled without being completed, but we do not capture payment information UNTIL a client presses submit on our online order system. The only way we would have known which credit card to charge was if Mr. H submitted his order, so Ms. is wrong the application was completed and submitted. Clients also receive a copy of the contract immediately after hitting submit, which means that*** received notice immediately that they had entered into a contract with us and completed the application. Ms. S e-mail*** on *** 3, two hours after the order was placed. She also called and left a voicemail with Mr. H (also on *** 3). Ms. S again called on *** 18 and followed up with an email on *** 24 (see attached). Mr. H followed up on June 21 (50 days after placing the order). In his email, he threatened to file a complaint with the Revdex.com unless we refunded the $599 immediately. He questioned our company's honesty and integrity in this email. (See attached). Ms. S responded and asked Mr. H to follow our company's cancellation policy and submit a formal cancellation request, which he did. On June 22, we let Mr. H know that because of the number of days that had passed, and because of the work we had already completed on his behalf (e.g., confirming information in his lapsed SAM Registration, bringing it in line with new regulations, and determining what information we needed*** to submit to us in order for us to complete the renewal process), we were able to only offer a partial refund of $459. Mr. H did not respond to this email. On August 9, Mr. H e-mailed demanding his full refund. Ms. S responded and forwarded to him a copy of the June 22 email. In order for us to process the partial refund, we needed a response from him, which he never provided. On August 16 we received an email from Ms.. In her email (please see attached), she again threatened to file a complaint with the Revdex.com if we did not issue a full refund. Ms. S called in response, and Ms. would not put Mr. H on the phone. Ms. told Ms. S that our company "sucks" and is "a bad company," and that they "never read the terms and conditions of the contract" that they signed. (We record all incoming and outgoing calls and are happy to provide this recording to you). Ms. S escalated the issue to the owners of the company, and I called to speak with Mr. H. Ms. refused to put Mr. H on the phone, and I told her that I was concerned about the hostile approach Mr. H had taken with our company, and that I was happy to speak with him about his partial refund. He never responded to this phone message. In order for a client to place an online order, they must click a box acknowledging that they understand our terms and conditions and our refund policy. Because we could not complete the actual renewal without information from them even though we had spent several hours on our end getting everything in place for the renewal we offered*** a partial refund.*** never accepted it. Instead, they threatened to file a complaint about us (which Ms. acknowledges in her complaint). I do not believe that the Revdex.com expects its services to be used as a club or as some type of leverage against a company. We offered*** a partial refund.*** never accepted the partial refund.*** requested to cancel their contract with us well past the point when their 48-hour cancellation window closed. We do not like to see clients go, or to be in any way unhappy, and it's unfortunate that rather than working with us, they chose instead to threaten us. The Revdex.com should be a service for consumers and companies, not a way for someone who is unhappy or dissatisfied to bully a company into capitulation. I believe the above addresses and responds to each point Ms. raised in her complaint. Again, Ms. did not sign a contract with us; Mr. H is the point of contact for the company and the person who signed the contract. We remain willing to issue a partial refund of $459 to***, despite their decision to file a complaint with the Revdex.com, because we do not believe in keeping any portion of a client's fees for work we did not perform. Unfortunately, we believed in good faith that the client wanted us to fulfill the services they asked us to perform, and we completed work on their behalf work that we believe we should be paid for. They were a client with us for one year. We saw no reason to believe that they would place an order with us, authorize us to charge them, and then ask to cancel more than seven weeks later. We are also disheartened that*** believed threatening us with a Revdex.com complaint was the best way for them to get a full refund. If you need additional information when reviewing the complaint and our response, please feel free to let us know.

Customer Response

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Kristen is behaving unprofessionally. Whatever happened to the customer is always right?? Her business practices are obvious by the "C" grade her company has received. She is trying to convince people that they must pay her $599.00 a year to enter some business information on the Systems for Award Management website (https://***)I was EASILY able to do for free what she claims is worth $599 a year. THAT IS WHY I NEVER FINISHED OUR APPLICATION/REGISTRATION. Really, anyone can do it, no help needed. When you google "System for Award Management" Her business comes up as though it is the website that you are supposed to enter all of your information in to register. You don't realize that you are in the wrong place (they use catchy phrases like "Federal Contractor" and "US Federal Registry" until you are almost through with the registration. That is the point I got to when I stopped the registration process and also when she started hounding us to finish it. I am guessing that is because they had already charged our credit card at that point so she felt like she needed to get things done before we realized it. As far as Mr. H being the point of contact, knock yourself out Kristen...Keep on trying to call him. I WORK for him, it is my job to scour his credit card *** and see if charges show up that shouldn't be there - like the $599 you charged us. I am curious, You charged our card on 5/18/17, but notified us via email (which I have a copy of) on 5/24/17 that our account was on hold because we had not completed the registration yet. Does that mean anything to you? Also, all of paperwork you sent me states that refunds can only be given if the account registration is complete, which your email says was never done. Also, you are offering to refund us $459.00 only, instead of the full $599, what could you possibly have done to earn $140 so far? Argue with me? Send me snotty emails?

I am writing to thank Kristen S. for helping our company complete the SAM registration process back in June 2017. Kristen was very efficient, patient, and highly professional to work with. The entire process only took three days from submitting our information to the activation of our SAM Registration. We provided USFCR with the registration information on 6/27/17 and Kristen completed and submitted the SAM Registration on 6/29/17. We received a notice that SAM Registration became active on 6/30/17. Kristen was also very prompt in answering all of my questions through email. I would highly recommend US Federal Contractor Registration, especially Kristen!

Kristen S. was just WONDERFUL! She helped me during a very long process that took almost six weeks to complete. There was a lot of detail and I messed something up after she had told me how to do it.....she never got mad at me and was never unkind. She took a lot of time to make sure she understood what needed to be done and asked questions that showed she knew what she was doing (and got all the information needed to really help me and do what needed to be done - even though I didn't understand it at all!). I felt so well taken care of in something totally out of my realm of experience! I kept her name so I can find her again when I need help!

I've had nothing but trouble with a situation involving the government until I had the opportunity to work with Wendy C. She actually listened to my issues and didn't make me feel stupid. She took the time to explain certain procedures to me and helped me understand. She was patient with this old dog that's trying to learn new tricks or new systems. She was also polite and professional. If I had the opportunity to hire her for my company, I would. Thank you Wendy for all your help, kindness and understanding. You have turned an unpleasant situation into pleasant one. Well done!!

We worked with Melissa at SAM on setting up our registration. She also answered all questions that we had in an efficient and timely manner. She went above and beyond to make sure we were registered and all of our questions were met. She made the process much easier and we were thankful to work with her.

In working with the federal government or one of their contractors, my expectations were really low. And what a pleasant surprise to be addressed so genuinely and to experience super timely follow up. It exceeded every expectation I had for a government agency and surpassed any expectation I would have had for a commercial business.

The assistance I received from the US Federal Contractor Registration was very helpful for a person with no prior training with this type of task. The patience they had for me was very much appreciated and necessary. Every single person involved with helping me wa professional and courteous.

Excellent service, Christie J. is a wonderful resource, she guided me through the entire process, processed all my paperwork timely and efficiently.

Our lead case manager, Christie, helped us renew our SAM registration. This was especially critical this year as we have changed personnel and someone new is handling this on our end. Thank you for your patience and great service.
