I contacted US Periodicals today regarding several magazines that were sent to my son ( he has been hospitalized for several years with a Traumatic Brain Injury)

I explained to them that there was no way my son could order any magazines as he was injured 10 years ago. He said that my son must have registered for something in the last 10 years as they "bought" his information from somebody. I explained this was impossible as he does not have the metal ability to do this. then he said well maybe the hospital sold them the information??? ever heard of HIPPA??

I asked him to remove him from the list and stop sending us magazines, as this was really up setting my wife every time she sees his name on mail to him (this injury was very traumatic to our family).

he said No. if we wanted to stop it, we call each magazine company and ask them to stop it.

What a jerk. We already have to deal with issues of our sons injury. Now I have to deal with a scam magazine sales company?

Put them out of business!

Very rude, hostile customer service person ([redacted]) who referred to me as a bored housewife because (evidently) I made the time to call in with a question.

As of today's date Mrs. [redacted] has never called our office with any problems associated with this order. After checking with The [redacted] our order has posted and Mrs. [redacted] is good until 3/21/16. If she has any further questions she can contact US Periodicals at...

Also as of just today, I was also informed I will be receiving "[redacted]", "Elle" and "Good Housekeeping".  Can I also have my name removed from these publications, and know I was not charged for these?  I called [redacted] and was informed these are also coming through US Periodicals.  Thank you.

Dear Revdex.com,In response to Mrs. [redacted] request, We still need to see a copy of the payment she claims she made. I am sorry that her bank charges $20.00 dollars for a copy of a check, however that is not our problem. This order was done back on 7/18/12 and have only ever gotten sporadic...

payments!! Unless this account is paid in full this order will not be processed! furthermore we do not do refunds after 15 days of the first payment which is long past!! If she can provide a copy of the missing payment and pay the remaining $24.70 we will get this order processed immediatly!Thank You,[redacted]

I just received the [redacted], and it shows the original expiration date of 3/23/15.  I contacted the Enquirer to see if my subscription had been renewed but have not yet received a reply.I am willing to wait until 3/10/15 to see if this has truly been resolved, and that the new expiration date is in March of 2016.  After 3/10/15, if the renewal has not been processed, I would like the $104.00 returned to me.Thank you.

We are writing to you today in regards to a complaint filed by [redacted] regarding delivery of her Globe magazine. Our order for 1 year went thru the Globe magazine on 12/6/13 just as described on our offer that she responded to. It does not state it can take anywhere from 6-8 weeks to show...

up with the magazine that they purchased. Globe is not showing any magazines being returned by hte post office since her subscription was still current even before we updated her label! We have informed Globe of this porblem and they will research this immediately. If she still continues not to receive her Globe magazine she can contact them directly at ###-###-####.

Very poor customer service. Charged me one lump sum for a magazine subscription that I have had for close to 20 years. When I explained that I always make monthly payments, they refused to cancel subscription because it was past 10 days. I am currently not working and cannot afford a payment of this size. I will make sure everyone in and around my community knows not to subscribe to US Periodicals.
