The Vanguard Team was efficient and professional throughout the entire process. [redacted] and his wife [redacted] were such a pleasure. They responded to all of our questions even if those questions came at 10pm. My Husband and I are so thankful for their wonderful services.

Vanguard funding got my mortgage loan approved in record time. The representative was very professional and knowledgeable and went the extra mile to provide customer centered service. The loan was approved in about two weeks but due to unforeseen circumstances unrelated to this bank closing date was eight months later. During this process, the representative was very patient and kept my records updated
Overall the service was excellent.

Review: I was told when choosing Vangaurd Funding they could guarantee a closing within the month of June 2013. Two days before closing is scheduled, they now tell me I must wait at least another week. I must be out of my apartment by the end of the month therefore having no place to live for myself and my daughter, along with no place for my belongings. I spoke with a supervisor, [redacted], he was extremely rude and even hung up on me. I then was able to speak with a partner named **. He reassured me he would give me an update last night. Never called. I called every hour today and have not gotten ahold of him in 6 hours. This is absolutely no way to run a business or to treat anyone. I am extremely unhappy with this company and wish I could choose another company. they are not willing to do anything for me for this inconvenience. they arent even willing to return a simple phone call. Even **'s secretary, [redacted], is not helping out. I asked who I can speak with and she wont give me anyone.Desired Settlement: I need to know why they feel it is acceptable to treat people with such disrespect. They are now costing me additional money and loss of income, since I rearranged my work schedule for this week. I would expect a discount on my closing costs at the VERY least. I am extremely disappointed with every aspect of this company.

There was a mis-communication between [redacted] and Vanguard. It is against company policy to make any guarantees to a closing date. As a borrower submits personal information regarding the collateral or personal financial situation, additional questions and documents may be needed. This is determined by review of processing and/or underwriting.

[redacted] had spoken to [redacted] many times. His assistant [redacted] is only able to relay messages. She is not authorized to advise borrowers on any business matter.

We have apologized to [redacted] and subsequently closed and funded her loan.

This is just an apology that is an all out whatever type of thing. It doesn't address WHY they are sorry. It's a catch all. They want it to be over with, and whatnot. They have not corrected any of their wrong doing. "Officially spoken to my staff" is like saying I saw them at the break room, mentioned something, and left. It doesn't mean anything to me personally. It still doesn't address the threats I was given, how we I was hung up on, or how they kept changing the dates.

I had a great experience with Vanguard. They were very courteous and worked hard to refinance my mortgage.

Review: This company "cold-called" my home and claimed I had completed an application for a mortgage refinancing with them 6 months ago and they were just "following up". When questioned, the representative could not provide any details as to when I supposedly filed this application or what the amounts were. In fact, the representative grudgingly admitted that they had no idea if I had ever contacted them at all.

My phone number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry and I have never done business with this company. Clearly, they have no interest in respecting people's rights to privacy and are completely unethical in their sales practices.Desired Settlement: I also want a written apology and $500 for wasting my time and violating my right to not be harassed by unscrupulous telemarketers.

Everyone there was very helpful and professional. The process to be apply for a mortgage can be daunting, but Laura K[redacted] and her staff were great.

My husband and I are extremely satisfied with the attention and detail to which our questions were answered in every step of the way. We worked directly with [redacted] whom was also very helpful and knowledgeable with our questions and concerns. She was always available and made this refinance seem like a seamless process.
