Review: applied for re-financing and paid for an appraisal. company has failed to disclose results of appraisal and intentions to refinance. was promised that if appraisal did not lead to refinancing that caost of appraisal would be reimbursed personally by [redacted]. I had a positive experience working with Vanguard Funding LLC. This experience was for my Mortgage to become a first time home owner. I feel really happy and confident with the excellent service provided. The communication during the process was really well handle in a professional manner. Review: It was agreed that they would send me a refund of $250 but I have never received the check. I have tried calling numerous times for the past two months and now can not even get an answer or a response to the numerous messages that I have left. After [redacted] stopped answering my calls and would not return my calls I tried to work it out with the original person I was working with named [redacted] and then was told that [redacted] had to deal with it and to stop emailing him about it.Desired Settlement: The $250 refund was supposed to be for half of the appraisal fee because the banker [redacted] that I was working with had originally done his math wrong and told me that there would not be a problem and then there ended up being a problem when the math was done right along with my HUD case number not being able to be transferred or some thing like that. So the out come that [redacted] agreed to was to refund half of the $500 appraisal fee because the deal fell through based on issues on their end not because of some thing on my end and then just never sent me the check and stopped answering.

I recommend Vanguard Funding to EVERYONE I talk with when they need a mortgage or re-fi. Seriously, the Mortgage world out there is either like dealing with the the [redacted] or "Potter" from the movie, "It's a Wonderful Life", and these guys are like dealing with [redacted] and [redacted]. The only thing they don't do is give you a loaf or bread and a bottle of wine when you move in, but you do get a nice hand-written "thank you" card, and they call and email afterwards to check in and say "hi". What more could you ask? Vanguard Funding is THE BEST IN THE BUSINESS!
