I am rejecting this response because: if it had been communicated on the date I originally requested cancellation on 9/2015 that the contract my mother and I had entered into 10 years prior could not have be terminated until 4/2016, then this issue would have never been sent to the Revdex.com. Train your Reps to provide accurate information and not mislead customers to  believe something is being done even though it was never intended. I've paid for this service for 10 years on my mother's behalf as she was a resident in the home. I've been treated as if this has been all my fault when the inaccurate information came from your team of people. This has been the most disappointing customer service experience. Buyers beware!! Great upfront service for installations and upgrades but lousy to terminate. Automatic withdrawal will never end no matter what you have been told unless you handle it at the bank personally. I need no further comments or feedback from Vector Security. I am happy to never doing business with them again! Regards,

We are unable to assist this customer from our Wilkes-Barre, PA branch.  We have no customers in South CarolinaFor resolution, they need to contact our dealer office at [redacted], Suite 200, Fairfax, VA

This complaint is my attached correctly. We are located on Notheastern PENNSYLVANIA and have no accounts in this state

Customer signed original 3 year contract at $34.95 on 3/15/12. Customer called in back in October, 2013 about adding on cell unit. Quoted customer to upgrade their existing panel to touchscreen, add cell unit, and add additional remote services. Customer Signed new 5 year agreement at $44.95 on...

3/10/13 with their new contract terms expiring on 10/3/18. Customer called in stating they were moving to apartment, but not selling their home. Vector is holding the customer to the terms of the agreement. Vector made a substantial investment in upgrading the system. Customer was sent buyout of remaining contract terms of $2,043.73.

I am rejecting this response because:
This complaint needs to remain open and is still not resolved.  Vector’s response is for mixing up the contract terms and agreement on two different service addresses.  The service address Vector is referring to in their response that is currently under a 3 year contract agreement until 12/2016 is for [redacted] Elgin SC [redacted] (Account holder: [redacted]).  Other than having to deal with this company – this account is not in dispute. The service address in complaint is for: [redacted] Elgin SC [redacted] (Account holder: [redacted]).  This is the account where for weeks since April 2015, cancellation request phone calls were made to "Leslie" at Ext. [redacted] by either me or [redacted] (my sister).   None of our calls or messages were returned yet Vector continued to charge my account even though the 3 year contract obligation was met.  Please note, I’ve been paying the contract for the last 3 years.  The phone call was finally returned and this account closed in May/June only after numerous threats were made of us filing this Revdex.com complaint (see email attached).  Additionally, Vector never left us any voicemails or offered to transfer service, unlike what they state in their response.  In order to resolve this complaint, Vector should provide Revdex.com and myself a copy of the original signed agreement for service address: [redacted] Elgin SC [redacted] and prove that they did not force a contract extension without our consent by failing to allow us the opportunity to properly close this account. If this cannot be proven, my account needs to be refunded the monthly payments deducted beyond the contract end date.

Customer was under renewal terms of contract through 4/14/2016.  Account was cancelled at that time.  If we would have cancelled the account back on 9/4/2015 when customer cancelled they would have received a final bill for the remainder of the contract through 4/14/16.

Spoke with customer this afternoon and let him know that account will be terminated as of 4/1/2015.

I am rejecting this response because:we have had problems in the past with this company with them calling me when my alarm has been off.  Then they want to charge a fee for coming at.  I never got a call or response from the alarm system the night of the fire.  When they called me a few weeks after the fire they told me my alarm was going off .  My alarm system was already pulled from the home.  I told them every time they called on a week basis and still continued to call me.  I CANNOT afford the hassle I got with this alarm system.  I don't feel this company is reputable.   I would never use this company again.

I am rejecting this response because:They lied when they said they tried to call previously. Again it proves that this business is horrible. They can't even tell the truth. If this goes to them please tell them not to come and install anything. I will be making an additional complaint for the lies.Regards,

This is why we have written contracts to protect both the customer and the company. Written contracts override what may have been said verbally.
