Customer admitted they signed a 5 year agreement. Contracts are used to protect both the customer and the company, regardless of what is said verbally at the time of sale. Vector's policy with regards to moving is, that if you sell your house and the new tenants take over the remaining terms you...

will be released from the agreement. This did not happen so the customer is held to the terms of the agreement and the remaining balance due on the contract.

This complaint was sent to the incorrect office.  Our Wilkes-Barre branch does not service this customer, as we have no customers in North Carolina.This account is handled at our National Dealer office at:[redacted]Fairfax, VA

Customer signed 5 year agreement on 6/14/11, [redacted] Security, the Authorized Dealer that sold and installed the system did 2 recorded QA calls with [redacted]. I am rejecting this response because: This company' s policy of firstly automatically updating and renting clients contracts without their verbal not written consent is flawed. Their customer service is very poor. There was no clarification of the cancellation policy with us except that we needed to write a letter. I know and am quite clear that they are going to find another excuse to write down. I want this to serve a warning to all their clients to pay attention t their contracts and be aware of their policies. This is my final written correspondence with regards to this matter at this time.

I am rejecting this response because:They lied when they said they tried to call previously. Again it proves that this business is horrible. They can't even tell the truth. If this goes to them please tell them not to come and install anything. I will be making an additional complaint for the lies.

They were the Authorized Dealer that sold and installed the account. Vector Security has terminated the account with our system.

Account has been terminated and no final bill is owed.

I am rejecting this response because:I do not owe this company any additional funds. I contacted them in February 2014 to advise of my sister's death. I asked them not to draft another payment but they drafted March 2014 payment. I sent them two copies of my sister's death certificate, one on March 16, 14, and the last one was sent via certified mail on April 9, 14. I gave them timely notice to cancel the services and additional payments are not in order. Thank you for your assistance.

Customer signed 3 year agreement on 6/10/11 agreeing to pay Vector $32.95 per month. Line 3 of the contract title "TERM" clearly states the contract will continue for successive one (1) year terms unless cancelled by either of us in writing at least 30 days before the end of the initial term or any...

renewal term. With this being said, if the customer wanted to cancel they should have done it in May or June, 2014. Since this did not happened the contract renewed for another one year term and is up in June, 2015. Customer know owes for the one year period of June, 2014 through June, 2015.

Customers account will be terminated with no final bill

This charge on 5/18/2017 was reversed on 5/24/2017

Brittany and I just spoke with the customer and seem to have resolved his complaints.  We are giving him the original 3 month credit and installing a door lock as well.  Customer was emailed my direct contact information for future needs.

Customer signed agreement on 8/1/2011, Vector Security monitored the system up until August, 2012.  Account was terminated in January, 2014, 7 months before the term of the agreement expired.  Account was not monitored for a total of 16 months, Vector feels that as a good gesture since we...

let the customer out 7 months early, we will refund the customer for 8 months at $36.95 for a total of $295.60.

Account is being terminated as of today.  Final bill will be sent to the Estate.  No refunds as account has been monitored through today.

We are unable to assist this customer from our Wilkes-Barre, PA branch.  We have no customers in South Carolina
For resolution, they need to contact our dealer office at [redacted], Suite 200, Fairfax, VA

Vector made a substantial investment with upgrading the customers panel with her signing a new 5 year agreement for this. As a business courtesy, Vector will reduce the final buyout from $2,043.00 to $1,634.00.
