We sent the following email today***,We received a copy of your Revdex.com inquiry and also noted a call you placed on Tuesday to our customer service group.You
enrolled in a month fixed rate of $0.0869/KWH and started service
with Verde on 4/24/14. We actually held that fixed rate for
months
and sent you a notice in November that your fixed rate would be ending.
If you would like, we can enroll you in our new 4-month fixed rate of
$0.1149/KWH and can also adjust your December and upcoming January bill
to this rate by sending you a billing adjustment check. You can also
cancel and return to *** whose rate is currently $0.1263/KWH.Please let us know what you would like to do.Verde Energy Customer Support

Dear Mr***,
We
have received your complaint via Revdex.com regarding the $rebate our
service offers. Apologies for any confusion regarding our service, our
sales team does not offer $for enrolling, you have to be an active
customer for at least one month and send in the rebate coupon with a
copy of your utility bill. The rebate form is included in your welcome
kit, I show your welcome kit was sent on Oct21st to
Moreno Ave place 140, La Verne, CA 91750, we also have this rebate
form on our website as well. Our service offers four $rebates for
every quarter that you’re an active customer. Because you were an
active customer (1month) we will send you a check for $as a courtesy,
we show that you have since cancelled our service on November 21st, so you will no longer be eligible for additional rebates.

rate of .1399, which you agree you received from 10/17/2014-2/18/After that time, your account was switched back to the variable rate. inquiry and your calls with our customer support staff. Verde lowered
your rate when your account was assigned to
Verde by *** *n April
(our support staff recently sent you
another copy of the notification mailing originally sent in 2013)You
were enrolled in a variable rate
offer which can change
with market conditions. The rate held steady for a period but increased
in recent months because of significant
increases in energy supply costs, not all of which were passed on to
customers by Verde
Your account has been dropped and will go back to service with
*** at the end of the current billing cycle on 5/23/14. As
communicated by one of our customer support staff the other week, we
sent you a billing adjustment check
on 5/14/of $which lowers the effective rate on your April bill
to
$0.0999/KWH and will use this lower rate on your final bill in May.
This is our standard adjustment policy in cases like this, but given
your level of dissatisfaction I am willing to adjust your March bill by
$if this settles your inquiry. If this is acceptable I will have
another check issued after your reply. I am one of the owners of the
company and this is the best I am able to do.

I am rejecting this response because:I never signed up with them and the first bill came in June and they told me it was high because *** gave them that readingThey only billed me for electricity and I told them that bill was estimatedI also told them I never switch companies and they said first they couldn't find my information and they would have a manager call me back and this was in JuneI never got a call back the recently I called again and they told me the same thing and I have no messages from them nor do I have any phone numbersThe last time I called they said they didn't have any numbers to give me so that's a lieI just want them to credit my account and stop billing me

I have copied a portion of our initial response. Given the notice sent to the customer and the refunds we have provided to date we think our final offer of an additional $is very fair. We are still willing to send that additional check for $to resolve this.The notice sent to you in did not require your consent and the $
rebate that was offered was a courtesy. In reviewing your account I see
that we switched you to our then current 4-month fixed rate for new
customers of $0.1149/KWH and that you remain on that rate. The $
of refund checks that we provided represents essentially two months of
free supply from Verde. Even though I think we made an equitable offer
to you I am willing to issue you another $refund check. If you do
not find this acceptable we can drop your account. Please let me know
what you want to do

I have only one thing to say I want everything with my name on it CANCELLED Biggest scam for getting quick money I am on Social Security and so much has been taken out of my bank account I don't have money to buy grocery I tried to tell your "representative" on the phone but he was talking so fast...kept telling me to just say yes Tried to be nice but he doesn't give you time to be nice or ugly NOW WHATEVER HE SIGNED ME UP FOR I WANT CANCELLED IMMEDIATELY
