C&F Finance Company Collections Manager has investigated the complaint and pulled all recorded calls in relation. The recordings show that the customer was aware of the extension and agreed to the extension during a follphone call in which a Collector stated that she thought the
documentation of a hardship was not needed for such a good paying account and waived the requirement and told customer that the extension was approved. Please contact *** *** ** *** *** *** if the customer would like to speak to the manager involved with the investigation or if customer has any further questions

The Compliance Manager has reviewed the complaint and performed an investigation. On 10/20/2015, customer called C&F Finance to make payment arrangements for 11/07/2015. The collector customer spoke with said that we were unable to accept a payment until next month. Customer
was given an extension in May of to assist customer in catching the account up. Customer is currently days past due and last paid days ago. Customer has only made payments on a month loan. C&F Finance Company Policy states that we will only grant a deferment once the customer has made payments and only one per year with a maximum of per loan term. C&F Finance has already made an exception and allowed for a deferment when customer has made less than payments. The Compliance Manager will forward this complaint and account to ***, Collections Supervisor, to contact customer to see if anything else can be done

paid forI paid each moth 20.00- extraI believe they took this amount
and applied it to the interest of 18% on a 26,carI paid the extra for
over four years each monthI don’t understand why I can’t receive a breakdown
of the additional charges, as I believe the car should be paid off.C&F Finance Company’s Response:C&F Finance Company reviewed ** *** account activities

A e-mail was sent on 04/16/2015 to tim***@gmail.com to call C&F Finance. After numberous attempts to contact customer and due to the broken agreement to pay the remaing balance, SrManagement followed procedures to Charge-off the account. A Deficiency Letter was sent stating the obligation that is curently due of $124.51. This amount does not include the interest that remains on the account, which was included in the $802.12. A Collections Manager has made several attempts on to speak with customers to settle this matter but has not received a returned call. At this time, C&F Finance will continue with business practices to resolve the remaining obligations on the account

*** ** *** RE: Revdex.com Case # ***The Customer Service Manager contacted Ms*** on August 11, 2017, to explain C&F Finance’s business practice regarding insurance claims C&F forwarded the repair
check via FedEx to *** *** *** *** on August 10, 2017, and has confirmed that the check was signed for August 15, 2017. Should Ms*** have additional questions, she may contact C&F Finance at ***-***-***. Sincerely,Joyce S***

Mr*** has made payments on the account. Out of the payments, of the payments
have been paid or more days late which incurs late charges of 10% of the
part of the payment that is late according to his Maryland Retail Installment
Sales Contract. Mr*** has
accrued
$1,in late charges and has paid $when payments were made over the
actual payment amount, leaving the late charges owed on account at a balance of
$588.20. (Example: Customer paid $on 04/05/16, payment is
$523.06, so the extra $paid went towards late charges. Example:
Customer paid extra $on 04/29/16, which $went to late
charges and $went to other fees.)
Late charges and other fees are due when assessed. C&F Finance Company has applied the
customer’s payments in a manner to keep the customer the most current. Late charges owed on the account are
reflected in the past due amount that reports to the credit bureaus. Mr*** is current on installment payments
and is due for 05/31/but still has $in late charges owed on the
account which is reflected in his past due amount. If Mr*** doesn’t want the fees due to
reflect in his past due amount on his credit report then the fees need to be
paid in full.If Mr*** would like more explanation of assessed fees
on his account then he can call Daniel M*** Operations Manager, at *** *** ext***.Sincerely,Daniel M***
