Purchased livingroom set 11/10/19 and paid in full $1271.97 Few weeks sofa unraveled on all three cushions. I spoke with customer service several times and they were to send me cushion cover replacements. I never received the cushion cover replacements and unable to reach anyone. My sales order #***. The cushions are hideous and embarrassing. I am asking for the covers or refund. Thank you ***.

I paid for a warranty through Wolf Furniture. They declared bankruptcy. I bought furniture 11/11/19. It was delivered in 12/19. In 02/20 my furniture fabric was unraveling. I couldn’t connect with anyone. I am disappointed, no furniture should look like this. I just got it. Even sitting on couch fills like a board.

April 14,2019 I purchased a power recliner from wolf furniture, east York pa. Jan 20 2020 the power on the chair quit. the chair was 9 months old. I had to wait 6 weeks for someone to come repair chair, they had to order 2 parts, waited another 6 weeks for them to come replace parts. the parts did not fix issue, guy was to order the mother board, covid had hit and its now 6 months since this whole mess started. I've tried to call wolf furniture and get no answer, I read on line today they are closed period. so I can not use my power chair as its to be used. I had told them when this started, I paid a lot of money for the chair and I wanted a full refund they said they don't do that. my warranty has now run out, I have no working chair and I want my full money back can you please help me

In January of 2020 my husband and I placed a $1,000 down payment on furniture at this establishment. We were told it would take approximately a month and a half for the furniture to be completed. In the beginning of April we received a call from the saleswoman that sold us the furniture telling us that they were going bankrupt. Our furniture had been sitting completed in a warehouse but Wolfs did not have the money to pay for it. The saleswoman also told us they would not and could not give us our $1,000 back. My husband and I attempted to file a dispute with our bank, however, with the corona virus we were unable to complete the dispute as we could not go into the branch. When we were finally able to go into the branch they told us they could no longer help us get our money back. We do not have a lot of money and just want our $1,000 back.

On 2/15/20 paid $1112.98 for a new couch to be delivered first week of March. Store kept putting off delivery and then store closed. I saved five dollars a week until I could afford a new couch. The springs are sticking out of my old one.

My wife and I went to Wolfs furniture December 29th to purchase a dining set, this was a special order that required a 50% deposit. The delivery date came and went, the furniture store declared chapter 7. I contacted the manufacturer about the order and found out the furniture was never ordered. The manufacturer stopped accepting orders from Wolfs/*** furniture in 2019. They accepted my payment knowing the furniture would never be delivered.

I put an 800$ deposit down on a loveseat and couch on January 4, 2020 at Wolf furniture in Altoona PA. I was told it would take 6 to 8 weeks for delivery to the warehouse in which we would have to go pick it up at that time and, and pay the remainder of the charge. I called the store at the beginning of March, to check on my order. They said it should be to the warehouse on March 20. Then Covid 19 hit and everything closed so I have just been waiting for them to open again. I was then informed by a friend that Wolfe’s was going into bankruptcy. I have never received any info in what to do about my furniture or the money I put down. There is no way to contact anyone on this issue.

I previewed contacted you’ll regarding the Furniture in which I purchased I went back to the store 3/7/20 and applied the credit of 2319.76 and an additional 780.72 to purchased two more pieces which was suppose to be delivered 4/13 Due to Covid 19, and some unforeseen mergers which fell through the website is shutdown and they filing for bankruptcy according to every newspaper in that area as well as website I would like to know my recourse because this is been a long process first the defective furniture and now the unnecessary hardship of living without furniture

Wolfs furniture knowing took a full deposit on custom furniture from me they were well aware of their impending bankruptcy and did not disclose this to me prior to the sale of the furniture It has been told to many customers that they did not even place the custom furniture orders and kept any cash deals with full intention of not delivering the items. I places this order at the beginning of February and it was only going to take 6 weeks to by delivered. If the furniture order was submitted it is likely paid and in a warehouse.

We purchased and paid for patio furniture and didn't receive it prior to the store closing and per the website Wolf will not be refunding is or honoring the delivery of out items.we have been unable to get in contact with anyone from Wolf since March 16th.

I purchased a 3-piece living room suit on 12/1/2019 totaling over $3,200, and I paid extra to include a 5-yr warranty. The furniture was delivered on 1/4/2020 so it was in use approximately 3 months when the recliner seemed to not fold down correctly. It was leaning to the left, and I found parts lying on the floor. I tried to call the store to file a claim, and also tried to file a claim via the website provided. The phone does not allow you to leave a message, and the website link is not available. The website only provides a message that they are closed due to COVID19, and it sounds like they are filing for bankruptcy. Is there anything we can do to have our chair repaired and/or replaced under the warranty? Thank you

We purchased furniture from Wolf Furniture on 7/28/19.
We paid $1772.85 so far. on a grand total of $3545.69.
The other $1772.84 will be financed on a card that was issued that day, upon delivery.
We got a notification that the store closed. Bankruptcy? *** Furniture taking over?
Anyway, we have made NUMEROUS calls from emails, other numbers we are finding and no one is answering emails or calls.
We need help from the Revdex.com. This never happened before and we want our furniture, want to know the legal standpoint, all of it!
Please help!!!
I understand businesses close, but don't stress out your prior customers! The one email said that all the employees from Wolf had to pick up and leave that day! Our sales rep was John P and he is the one that reached out to us first.

Purchased Sofa and paid for on 2/17/2020 with Debit Card total$526.82.Sofa was not in stock at this location said would ship it to this store in 2-3 weeks. said if I didn't hear from them in 2 weeks to call,so I did. They told me item had not shipped yet and to call again in a week. No one answers phone.A couple days later read in Sunday Paper they filed bankruptcy.I have no way to reach anyone. I thought by now they would have contacted me to either refund my money or contacted me to let me know what they were doing.

Placed an order with Wolf Furniture back in December 2019 and was told it will take 8-10 weeks for delivery. Called after the 8 week mark and the sales rep said it would be 8 - 12 weeks from order to delivery. Called after the 10 week mark and they said it would be 8-14 weeks from delivery. Shortly after this call I found out that Wolf Furniture would be permanently closing. To date, I have received no responses after multiple attempts to contact my sale rep at the store or anyone associated with the store.

Products were purchased 2/29/20 with a down payment of $1,500. Items were to be delivered March 3rd, Only to receive a phone call saying it with be March10th 2020, in the mean time we have given the old furniture away thinking our new stuff is coming soon. On March 16th we received our third phone call saying the moving company they use has filed bankruptcy and we have no idea when we will be able to deliver our new furniture. Later watching the new we hear that Wolf Furniture is going out of business. When you go to www.wolffuniture.com and you get a blank website with just the Wolf logo. I even called the phone number that the bank that financed the rest of the money and you get the same information.. “The Store is Closed” and that’s all it says over and over again.

We ordered $5,006.58 worth of furniture from Wolf’s Furniture on 02/07/2020 and put a down payment of $2,506.58 on the order. The furniture was ordered from *** Furniture in Ohio. The local paper announced Wolf’s sale to a buyer fell through and the former would be closing and has since done so due to the Corona Virus with no way to contact them. In a call to ***’s in Ohio today I was informed that they stopped doing business with Wolf’s in January (before our order was taken by Wolf’s). How do we get out down payment back from Wolf’s Furniture?

On September 29th 2019 my wife and I ordered a sectional from Wolf Furniture in State College PA. At that time we paid $636.00 to have the custom order placed. On December 11th we received a call that our sectional was ready to be picked up and that the balance of $636.00 was due prior to the sectional being delivered to the State College Store. We paid the $636.00 at that time and picked up the sectional on December 18th. Upon unpacking the sectional we discovered that the 2 halves were different colors. We immediately contacted the manager at Wolf's, Gilbert F, who said he would re-order the entire sectional. I received a call on March 11th from a trucking company that said due to a pending bankruptcy all deliveries had been canceled. I immediately contacted Mr. F again who assured me we would get our sectional once the bankruptcy paperwork had been filed. I now see that the parent company to Wolf's has backed out of the agreement to sell the company, closed all it's stores, and terminated all employees. My wife and I are out $1272.00. I don't know how to proceed from here.

We purchased a sofa from Wolfs furniture at the Mechanicsburg, PA location on Dec 26,2019.
They advised us it would be 8-12 weeks for delivery because it was being costumed made.
We checked back every 4 weeks and they still told us 8-12 weeks.

I went into the store over Presidents Day weekend, and they still told me a few more weeks. I saw the recent articles regarding the bankruptcy and buying out and we questioned the store. They didn’t say anything. This week would be 12 weeks, I tried to call on Monday 3/16/20 and the phone just rang and rang and rang.

My husband, ***, went into the store on Monday 3/16/20 to ask about the couch and say it’s been 12 weeks. They tell him it is going to be 4 more weeks. (They said due to covid19) but I’m reality it was because of them closing. we never ONCE received a call from the store to advise of what we should do since we paid in Full and we still don’t have our couch!

We’d either like our couch ASAP or we want to be refunded the total amount we paid, as we don’t have a couch and have been patiently waiting for it.

If you can do anything to assist or let us know what you need from us.

Thank you

I am rejecting this response because:
I called the 800 number provided and emailed the email address provided and as they did get back to me but they sent me to the site to file on the bankruptcy webpage.

This can take months/years to be resolved and it doesn’t fix my issue where I am without a couch and I am out the amount of money we paid full for it.

I would like explanations from Wolf as to how they are to going refund my money in full or deliver my couch.

I will file with bankruptcy but I don’t want to wait longer. I’ve already been waiting 14 weeks now!!!

Regards

I ordered a sectional sofa (special order) December 26, 2019. I was told 8-12 weeks for delivery. Here we are PAST that time period and the store offered zero good idea of when my couch would be delivered. First time I called, an employee who described herself as being “low on the totem pole” spent about 25 minutes offering little information as to when I might receive my couch. She swore up and down that it was ALL due to the corona virus. So, I called the 800 number for customer service to see if I could get a better idea of when I might receive my couch. I was told the representative would make contact with the store and try to find out. The next thing I know is that the salesperson who sold me the couch called me and explained that she’s not sure why the other girl told me it was all due to the corona virus, but instead offered that since Levin (who bought Wolf’s) was bought by yet another company, their manufacturers were afraid they weren’t going to get paid, so they’re holding orders. That’s all well and good, but it’s now March 20th, and I’ve received zero information on when I might get my couch! “Sometime in April maybe” is the best they could offer me. This is unacceptable! In the meantime, I sold my other couch, assuming this company could be relied upon to make good with my couch. I had asked for a discount, because of the extraordinarily long time I’ve been waiting, and the salesperson just indicated that she would have to “check with her manager”. I still haven’t heard back from them. This is not only poor customer service, but I’m starting to feel like I’m being completely ripped off!

I paid for a couch in full January 09-2020. They told me it would be delivered no later than March 16. When the couch wasn’t delivered, I tried to call the store. They were closed. I called their delivery department whom informed me the company was going bankrupt. I explained that someone should have told me, as they found out on March 5th. I feel I was scammed for over $1600. I feel they knew they were going bankrupt when they sold me this couch. I am not a lot of money that I saved up for this couch. I don’t feel this or right at all. I want my money back. It’s unethical and complete fraud.

The company is in bankruptcy The bankruptcy court is allowing two options for the customer who has money on an order that the product is not available. 1) use the money as an in store credit only. Must be used by or before April 15 and the product must be picked up by April 152) or file a claim with the bankruptcy court by calling *** and/or email ***@***.com

I am rejecting this response because:
I work hard for my money. I am not rich by any means. This was my first brand new piece of furniture. I was excited to have a couch custom made. My husband and I picked out the fabric, the color, and the throw pillows. We purchased the couch on January 09-2020 for over $1600. We were told that it would be delivered in March. We thought this was a very long time, but we were reassured that because it was custom made, that is why it would take so long. When the couch never came, I called. I was told that the company was being sold to *** and they reassured my couch would be delivered mid April along with a gift card to the store. Two days later, I found out in *** that wolfs furniture refused sale to ***. After that, I tried calling all companies involved and the phones were shut off, emails were shut off, the website was down with no further information. I do not accept bankruptcy as an excuse not to pay me my $1600 back. It’s not my fault you failed at your business adventures. Also, I don’t believe that the ceo or owners of the company are hurting by any stretch of the imagination. This was fraud, this was theft, And I was lied to. Had I or anyone else walked into the store, and stole what I wanted from them, I would be charged, arrested, and made to pay restitution. Where is my restitution? At what point did it become acceptable in this country to file bankruptcy, not pay your debts, your manufacturers, your employees and distributors. To have honest tax payers pay for your mistakes. While the owners and ceos are losing anything personal or any attributes or money that they had collected from their business previously. How can the still own their cars, their homes, their boats and keep all their luxuries? There is nothing fair about this and it should be made right. I do not accept your response as “we can’t do anything because we are in bankruptcy”. It is unethical and SOMEONE should do something to make it right. Have some substance and moral character.
