We are sorry for any delay in correcting this situation. Our accounting records show that on Friday February 23rd this was processed and mailed. The homeowner did call us on Monday Feb26th to let us know it was not received, yet. We will double check today to see if it was
delivered by mail and again we are sorry for the delay

Ordered the wrong size window and we were told it would take months for the correct size to come inWe were offered no compensation and no apology for this errorAttempted to contact the production manager but she was "away from her desk" everytime I calledYou leave your name and number and no one gets back to you Would not recommend doing business with Woods Basement Systems

We regret that we were unable to meet the needs of our customer It is my understanding that the day the Revdex.com sent us their notice of the customer's concern our representative was meeting with this homeowner and agreed to refund the deposit That full refund should be in their hands

Woods agreed to cover the cost of cleaning and spraying the walls, which is one of the options I offered, so the complaint has been resolved

I am rejecting this response because:We have not recieved a refund of our deposit yet I don't know who answered the complaint but it certainly was not the person that i've been dealing with I spoke with *** *** on the phone and he said that Woods Basement Systems would be refunding our deposit He then sent me an email containing a release to sign In the email, he states that upon completion of the signature and return of the form, Woods Basement Systems would get our check in the mail I returned the signed release form to Mr*** on Sept We have recieved no check as of this date

The annual service technicians are positive, polite and knowledgeable of the systems We have had our system for yrs and are still impressed at how reliable and dependable this system operates, giving us peace of mind especially during the rainy days! I am rejecting this response because:After several attempts made at contacting Woods Basement Systems, I spoke with *** *** (Field Manager) on November 17, and left a voicemail for *** *** on that same day.Mr*** asked me (***) to give him both November and to come with a solution regarding our service issue. We gave Mr*** a new phone number to reach us on Monday, November (today)We never heard anything, despite Mr*** stating that he would have someone contact me (***) today. We firmly believe that these are attempts to stall in fixing the problemWe have absolutely no confidence in this company fixing the leakage problem in our basement The contract we signed states as follows: In the event of an alleged failure of the work set out to be performed under this agreement Woods Basement Systems, Incmay at its discretion offer a full refund of all funds expended under this agreement and the owner must upon receipt of the refund execute a full and complete release of all liability on the part of Woods Basement Systems, Inc. Therefore, the only solution is for us receive a complete refund ($6,056.10) so we can hire a qualified and responsive company to fix our leaking basement. Sincerely,*** & *** ***

In responding by email initially I asked for another number to reach them because the number we had on file was not connected yet I did receive an email back stating he was serving on Jury Duty and that he would contact me soon I did get another phone call on my voice mail but the same number as before was left which when I tried it again was not connected yet I have saved that voice mail to refer to as needed In sending out another email that day the customer reached out to one of our field supervisors who previously in the month stopped by the residence and left his cardWe now have another number to call and set up a time to send out a manager to talk over the situation and fix it so our customer would be happy Thanks for your help in this matter

I had Woods Basement Systems Inccome to my house to give me an estimate on a crawlspace repair and after hours of listening to the salesman and finally agreeing on the work I wanted done, I signed a contract and put a deposit down for the work I was going to have doneAfter confirming my appointment for the work to be done on, I recieved a call a few days later saying that They could not do the work that I had signed a contract for
Woods said I had to have drainage mat and clean space to be able to get the warranty they offerThe salesman told me when he came to my house that the drainage system was lifetime warranty regardlessI didnt want them to do clean space because it cost $more not including the drainage mat
The reason I chose to just have just the drainage system put in was because I thought the price was too high for them to install vapor barrierI was going to install it myself which the salesman said was fine and people do do that
This place does shading businessThey try and rebid after you have signed a contract and put your deposit down for the work to be doneI would not recommendStay Away from Woods Basement Systems, they are overpriced and liars

The work we installed is performing as designed and installed We have photos of that wall we restored to being vertically straight We understand that anyone seeing that wall after it was repaired may have come to the conclusion that the work was unnecessary but that is exactly the
result we intended. After years of being installed we did honor the request for a refund but did not remove the wall anchors as requested. She is no longer obligated to Woods and may remove the wall anchors as she wishes. We did not do that because we do not want the liability of that future wall failureThank you for helping us resolve this issue

They are extremely knowlegeable in their field When they come into your home they coveer their shoes so that it doesn't get your carpet dirty They listen to your concerns and your ideas on improving your situation They do not make you buy something that you do not want or need This the third time I have used Woods Basement System at my home and have been pleased each and every time

Woods Basement finally cut us a refund check on 9/23/16 which was postmarked on 9/26/16.  We have received this refund check.  Thank you so much for your help in this matter.  Please contact me if I need to do anything further.                                    ... [redacted]

A very positive experience with Woods Basement Systems. We had Woods out to check on some water seepage in our lower level. After a thorough review of our situation, the Salesperson recommended 2 solutions, one cheaper than the other. The more expensive solution was to install a sump pump along the foundation of our house, which meant significant digging and a small pipe inside our house to push the water outside. The less expensive solution, and the one we elected to go with had the Woods team bury some PVC piping from out downspouts out into our yard, away form the house. that work was done yesterday in some soggy conditions, as it has rained for past 2 days. We couldn't be happier with the work done by Juan/Alex/Daniel of Woods Basement Systems. They were very neat and careful with how they dug the necessary trenches to bury the pipe, and covered the trenches with grass sod they had dug up. Couldn't be happier with their work and the professional nature of this crew from Woods Basement Systems!

I could not have had better service! They were on time courteous and cleaned up after themselves when the job was finished.

Slow response to making repair, as it's been almost 3 weeks.  Woods has decided to try a different window and another install crew. This will be repair #6 to what was a dry basement before Woods!!! Can not possibly be satisfied until my basement window stops leaking.

I had Woods out in November of 2015 to fix my basement leak issue, I listened to the sales pitch and even though expensive went with their system because he said it is a lifetime solution for a dry basement. During the consult I showed the salesman cracks in the wall and was told our system sits off the wall to catch water draining down the wall. I had the work done in February because that was the earliest they had, I waited the month for the concrete to dry and then paid to have my basement walls put back together and dry walled. The first rain storm the walls began to leak again, I called the salesman and he forwarded me to service which took a few days to get someone to call me. Service came out and said I need a wall covering along with the gutter system because of the cracks which was never brought up prior. Woods then said the walls would have to come back out floor to ceiling. After weeks of back and forth on a solution we finally cam to an agreement and again waited a week to get scheduling to call me. Finally Woods came out to do the fix work and yet again they had no idea what they were there to do so they had to call the office and get verification of the job scope. After confirmation they then began working only to tell us they could not complete the work because we now need an anti bacterial spray on the walls before putting up the barrier. Again we are back to waiting, as of today 6-6-2016 we still have a basement that is half complete because Woods has zero communication skills as well as zero urgency to fix a problem they caused. I will update this moving forward but I can't see anyway I could ever recommend Woods to other people, this review will be posted anywhere I can find a spot for it, hopefully it costs them a lot of money in lost sales.

Woods' customer service was exceptional. From the quick response to my initial call, to the information that they mailed me, and the videos they emailed me, before my appt.

Paul came out to look at a crack in my foundation. He explained his background and what he was going to do to determine if the crack in my basement was a problem that needed to be addressed or just needed monitoring. He was very professional and courteous.

It turns out that my issue needed monitoring only. Note that this is the point where a lot of companies would have taken advantage of my naïveté and tried to sell me something unnecessary. This did not happen. Paul showed me a simple, inexpensive way to monitor the crack.

Because I experienced such a positive experience with Woods, I will definately hire them for future needs and recommend them to anyone.
