I started Veterinary Assistant program after asking the question "do you have veterinary offices you are contracted with in my area?" they said yes there are two different ones but could not tell me until I was further along in the program So I could not check After I completed my written part of the program, I was given the names of the clinics One is Banfield They categorically deny offering any assistance with externship for the VA program However they do handle the DVM and CVA programs So that was one I could not use Next one was *** clinics We have three in our county One took my info and then when I was ready to start decided last minute not to take me on because she was not getting paid, never heard of Penn Foster and was being paid by our local StPete College to be a preceptor I proceeded to call all the other ***'s in my county and other surrounding counties No takers, never heard of Penn Foster, did not want to hear about it and "too much paperwork" n

Penn Foster requires a signed student enrollment form prior to sending texts via post My son and I filled out the form and faxed it to the number given on the form by Penn Foster on 8/18/(Korean date)We waited days for verification from Penn Foster, but verification was not forthcomingI emailed Penn Foster foster on 8/19/regarding verification Penn Foster support replied on 8/22/16, and stated:
"We do not have record of receiving it as of yetPlease allow a few more days for us to go through are latest faxes to see if we have located it."
I allowed Penn Foster more days and still no verification, so I faxed the form once again on 8/23/and emailed again stating:
We have faxed the the Student Enrollment Application againYou should now have copiesWe hope(?) that you will be able to find at least one copy without further delay."

After receiving a collections letter from Penn Foster I called and spoke with collection agency to inform them I never signed up for anything with Penn Foster ( I had to research what Penn Foster even was) The collection agency stated it looked like a cause of fraud and was going to close it out However, I just received a letter from a collection agency again in the amount of $ I never signed up for anything and I am very upset that I keep receiving this, it is damaging to my credit and downright upsetting I have attempted to call Penn Foster numerous times and can never get through to an actual person! I do not understand how a company can destroy your credit and send you to collections when you never even had any business with them!

I have been for months trying to get a refund on a course I had to stop taking You can never contact a person from finance only the people on the phone personally talk to financeI requested someone call me three months later nobody did so It has been one run around after another, somehow they are unable to send me a refund check because it had to go in the card well the card was a prepaid the company won't issue a new one, so the schools latest thing is it can't be an email from the company but a letter head from the company saying these things All I cam say is wow, they acknowledge the refund is due but ate doing everything in their power to ensure I don't get it If I owed money they would harass me daily since they owe it, they don't want to refund it I've tried being as understanding as I cam be but frankly I'm tired of dealing with this place

About a year in a half ago I signed up with Penn Foster to complete the high school dipolma program but wasn't able to get started because I was caring for my ill mother who was in and out of the hospitalI didn't have to time to even start the problem because I would be taking my mom back in front to doctors appointments or sleeping at hospitals due to her being sicklyI didn't have much time to myselfSadly my mother passed and I was learning with dealing with her death but then I decided to start my program and the account was sent to collectionsAnd, I was trying to figure out why when I hadn't even started on the course

I am a former student at Penn FosterI had a "pay as you go" payment plan with themPay for a class, take itPay for a class, take itI didn't finish the whole BS program and had to drop out after about 6-monthsJust recently I contacted them to try to get a transcript of the classes I have already paid for and taken and they will not release the transcript until the TOTAL amount it paid offI didn't take all the classes so why would I pay for them? I have had a wonderful experience all 3x I have dealt with Penn Foster I even had to lapse a year in one of my programs due to an extremely difficult pregnancy and delivery They allowed me to pick up once I was well enough I had already paid the entire fee so they just held my spot open I had a year to complete the program at the time but with so many health issues I couldn't thankfully they worked really well with me on it and I finally was able to complete it My husband did his high school through this over years ago and it was so easy for him to work with them and on the courses He had no problem with it transferring when he attended college after that I have done courses on my own through them and about to do a 4th to work towards what I am hoping will be another advancement in my career I have recommend them to several friends who have also completed courses with them as well

I reached out to Penn Foster College to officially withdraw after completing nearly semesters towards an online Bachelor’s Degree in Business ManagementThe reason why I completed so many semesters so quickly was that I had transferred a number of credits from previously attended school and I worked non-stop on completing my degree in a timely manner

I signed up for information, as far as I know, but I never attended any classes nor did I ever receive any course materialsI never even made the initial deposit to start classes - yet you want to bill me 2k?
