I enrolled into what I was told was the Medical Administrative Assistant program at Penn FosterI spent an entire year doing all the course work, only to discover that I had been signed up for the wrong courseWhen I received my certificate I emailed them, and they stated that I had in fact been signed up for the wrong programI called and spoke to a representative who informed me that there was nothing monetarily that they could do, and I would have to pay the FULL COST to take the correct programThis is insaneThey enrolled me into the wrong program

Penn Foster has sent me to a collection agency, to collect the amount of $I never signed up for their course, or completed any course work, or did they send me any course materialsThis is a scamThey say I entered into a contract, which I did notMy year old step daughter signed up for a course in my name and paid $on a credit cardShe never even had to speak on the phone to someone She then completed an entrance exam onlineNo other work was done online or did they send anything in the mailThey required no proof of her age or name or anything to sign this agreementI have explained this to their admissions, as well as the rude collection agency who calls and gets an attitude and hangs up on me dailyI will not be paying any money to Penn Foster or their collection agencyThey are trying to scam me for over $for an entrance exam completed by a childThis is not a schoolIt is a complete scam

I enrolled in the Automotive Technician course at Penn Foster Career School I paid $dollars for the program I received an email offering to give a discount of $if I paid in full before the end of April (April 24th I believe) I made the full payment on March 21st The payment went through and my bank has record it went through I have called Penn Foster to have the discount amount taken off my account The customer service representative told me it would come off in days I waited, but it is not off the account I called Penn Foster and they said it will be days I told them it has already gone through the bank and offered more than once to have my bank get on the phone to verify I explained Penn Foster already has my money and the bank will verify that They would not call or let me call the bank I then had a customer service representative, who was female, tell me "Justin, I am speaking to your personally now and not as a Penn Foster

I've been calling penn foster for a few days because the balance on my account is incorrect and I spoke to one representative and instead of helping me all she did was put me back in to the cueMy reminding balance is only $and they have $which is incorrect and nobody is helpingIt's a nightmare calling them or even getting anybody to help you

I enrolled two children in the program ages and One was a 7th grader who moved to 9th grade in the Penn Foster programThe other daughter was in 10th gradeBoth children ran through the courses (credit) at a rate of per dayThese classes were so simplified that they would never have laid a solid foundation for collegeThe younger of the two children who is college bound noted this herself and raised concernsPlease if you are not an adult learner completing your education for the purposes of job or promotion do not rely on this program to prepare you for college or lifeThis program is not suitable for children who have their whole life ahead of themWe switched to a Kprogram it was free and betterPenn Foster is not for or about the child learnerBiggest parenting mistake that we will pay dearly for financially while our kids have to return to a more structured program feeling behind

I started a course in December and cancelled the course in early FebruaryMy employer paid for the tuition thru a contractor and payment was made in fullHowever when requesting the refund to my employer I was told many occasions that the payment was sent and my company never receivedHowever then speaking to someone in accounting that the refund payment was never sentIt has now been months past when the refund to my company was supposedly sent only to find out it never wasI’ve left multiple messages with their accounting team and never get a response or I told they the person who does the refunds isn’t thereSince this occurred I’ve had to drop out of a masters degree program because the refund was never made and my company will not allow additional tuition until this refund is received and this course is paid in fullI need this handled ASAP before I hire an attorney to handle this in an expedited manner

Penn foster offer a Medical coding online courseI accepted my enrollment contract on 9/30/and the program expired 12/29/Upon completion of passing the program with a grade of and your tuition is paid in fullI have completed the program with a grade average, and my tuition has been paid since 11/07/All the assignments was computerized and the system automatically grades youWhen I had reached the end of the program the instructor created a final using *** *** creating questions divided into modulesThe instructor instruction concisely read, answer the questions and take a screenshot of your answer and the system grade save it in a *** document, and *** was suggested to compressed the large fileI answer, saved the work in a zip file, in *** and *** documents, screenshot all questions and saved submitted it as instructed, Each time I sent it to the instructor which has been sent times it has been sent back without a feedbackI spoke

You get questions at the end of each chapter, not practical questions, definitions The answers are not in the readings or the book An instructor told me not to use the Internet to look up information Where are the answers? The only way to actually find them is to look in the answer code at the end of the book

I never went to this college nor did I ever agree to attend this schoolI have had this derogatory mark on my credit and it is jeopardizing my chances of getting a home for my kids to live in
I contacted the creditor multiple times and they treated me like a criminal on the phone and threatened me that I would be put in jail for this debt
I refuse to pay this claimed debt because I never attended this school and have never spent any time in Pennsylvania nor did I agree to any contractThe first time I contacted the creditor I was told to write a notarized letter and send it to them which I did do and got no response

Here is a copy of all my correspondence to Penn Foster asking for help, they cancelled the contract AND WILL NOT GIVE ME MY one month back and threatened to charge me more OUT OF THE CONTRACT AS WRITTEN? Please read, The bookkeeping program is all onlineThere is not option to have printed material sent to youAnything you want printed, you will need to print out for yourself
I had a feeling, Thank you. When I did the high school program years ago they had the option for bothThis program should have stated it in the agreement in the billing contract there is "no mailing only online" ( If need you will need to print and or buy a printer for this class.) I worked in bookkeeping/accounting/collections employment in the past yearsI've never seen some of this "teaching" I'm lost for words to describe this class

I took classes with Penn Foster in the past This winter I signed up for another class Keep waiting for my books to arriveKept getting phone messages from my "Study Coach" Finally had time to call the Coach and she said that there are no books to receive I told here what I thought and told her to cancel and return my registration fee since I didn't do anything She said that since it was past 6-day tryout period, I couldn't get a refund Who gives days? She gave me a e-mail address to wright a dispute I got a letter in the mail stating I still owe for the registration I will never take another class from them again, and I told them that as well

In the early 2000's, I enrolled in this institution so that I could receive my High School DiplomaThe total cost of my tuition was around $900-I was paying my tuition then moved and I stopped receiving my materials even though I was still paying my tuitionI would go to their website and click on "Contact Us" most of the time I would never get a response back or told that they couldn't find me in the system anymoreI contacted the school earlier last year in the hopes I could pay off my tuition and finish where I left off in order to receive my diplomaI was informed that I would have to pay off the remaining balance of my tuition of $then re-enrollI informed the person I spoke with that it didn't make any sense for me to enroll again because I'm nearly done completing all my coursework in which she agreed with me
