she acknowledged that she read the documentation requirements specified for her country. Furthermore, upon completion of her application, she also agreed that she read and accepted the terms and conditions which reiterate that our document requirements are specific to each country. The terms and conditions that she read and accepted stated that all documents received becomes the property of WES and cannot be returned. Our policies and documentation requirements were visible to [redacted] and she was made aware of what was required. receipt, review and approval of all documents and payment in full.   As [redacted] stated, we received his documents on January **.  The documents were processed into our system and reviewed by an evaluator on January **.  At that time they were deemed acceptable and analysis of his academic documents began.  [redacted]’s final report was issued on February [redacted] business days after the approval of all documents.    I am sorry that [redacted] missed his deadline.  For this reason, we encourage all applicants to apply for a credential evaluation well in advance of their school deadlines.        [redacted] World Education Services [redacted]

I was told on the phone before sending my documents to NOT include my Abitur, just my university transcripts. So it's totally unfair that I have to pay for it now. It's just because the business wants to get more money out of people in a dishonest way! I either want my Abitur evaluated free or charge or my $205 refunded to me- since the evaluation of my university transcript is totally worthless to me. It's literally $205 toilet paper! :( Thank you very much

Dear [redacted]   We have reviewed the complaint submitted by [redacted]. The applicant applied for an evaluation with WES on April **, 2016. He submitted photocopies of his academic documents which did not comply with our documentation requirements. A document request letter was...

then sent to [redacted] on April, ** 2016 and June, * 2016, requesting that he follow our documentation policy. As a result, [redacted] requested to cancel his evaluation on August, **, 2016.. The file was cancelled accordingly. A refund was issued to his credit card in the amount of $117 less the $50 cancellation fee. As per our terms and conditions, we state that a processing fee applies upon cancellation. When [redacted] submitted his application, he agreed to our terms and conditions that specify our policy regarding file cancellations. firm. The applicant will have to contact the law firm and get a written release clearly stating that he is able to have copies of the evaluation report. The release should be faxed to WES at ###-###-#### attention “Accounts and Records” department along with the reference number.  Upon receipt of the approved release form, [redacted] will be required to download the WES duplicate request form  and submit payment by mail. I must remind him that the evaluation is a document by document for immigration and not a course by course which is multi –purpose and generally requested for teachers certification and licensing purposes.

Please note that the requirements was not only supplied on the website, but was also posted on the applicants receipt and online status page. We agree that the call volume is high which is why we encourage all applicants to take full advantage of the online status pages. This page provides updates and full details concerning the applicant’s evaluation.  In closing,  [redacted]’s file will be on hold until we receive the required  documents. All they have received from me is my money and my name and address submitted in a form online. How this constitutes a file that can be cancelled for a fee  is beyond imagination. They never received my documents nor did any work on my documents begin, in which case I could understand the need for a partial refund. My application has cost this company nothing so there is no justification for holding unto my hard-earned money.In addition, any honest organization will state clearly in a visible place if there is a non-refundable fee associated with an application. Instead, WES chooses to hide this information at the bottom of a document that they can almost guarantee applicants will not read. Also, rather thanstate how much this "cancellation" fee is, they do not, leaving it open to the possibility of them charging any arbitrary amount. This is amounts to dishonesty, and I can see from other complaints against this company, that there is a pattern of applicants with similar issues of being swindled by WES. It is their duty to be transparent about the process but they hide information, do not even provide a phone number on their website where they can be reached; and ignore the emails sent to them ( I have sent two on this issue with no resoonse).I would like a FULL REFUND because WES never even handled my documents or did any work for me that warrants them holding back my money.

Review: I have been trying to get in touch with customer service at WES, regarding the application that I submitted for college degree credential evaluation. The required documents were also submitted in August 2013, in the format required by WES. However, the online account status shows that I must resubmit the documents per the WES requirements.

Hence in order to understand what is missing, I have filled out the query form on WES website several times but have never received a reply back. I have made numerous calls to the company but every single time have been put on hold for long times and then the phone is hung up from the other end. While at other times the phone gives an engage tone.

So even after making the payment for the service in full and finishing the required documentation, I have not received any response. Besides being unfair conduct on part of WES this has also effected my college admission deadlines.Desired Settlement: Response to what I need to provide so that my application is completed.
