Review: I requested to expediate my undergraduate evaluation using courier service. I haven't recieved confirmation to this request, nor courier tracking number. There isn't a customer service number to call this company and they don't respond to the help form on thier website.
I paid for this service, I should get status updates on my requests. Not "Pending, placed on hold".Desired Settlement: Status Updates.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
[Not to get this confused, I am referring to the request to have my document verification expedited. I applied for a transcript evaluation, I believe second week of May and went through the expedited process to have my transcripts sent using courier service because of graduate school deadlines and employment validation.
Please, I understand the company's policy for a document verification. But, I would want the process to proceed much faster. If we could ship these documents back using courier service and a tracking number will be helpful. Your FAQ help states that fees associated with the verification process will be paid by student directly to the institution. That's why I need that tracking number to ping the appropriate office and check off the requirement.
Please, understand I have deadlines and can't accept my profile to be in a verification status indefinitely without a way to resolve or track the issue. Also, if I haven't paid the outstanding balance, I intend to make the payment. All I want is some way ahead resolution as my future depends on this.
Very Respectfully

Response:
Dear [redacted],
We have received the second correspondence from [redacted]. We understand that the applicant wants to expedite the verification process, but he still has to pay his outstanding balance. The current balance is $37 and if he wants to have the verification sent by courier it will be an additional $60. The new total would then be $97. We will have an agent call [redacted] to make sure he understands the process.

Review: I paid $321 for the WES ICAP service on July 29, 2014, on behalf of my girlfriend, [redacted]. The WES reference # for this order is 2604782. I have not yet received service, despite meeting all their document requirements, 2 phone calls, and 2 emails.
WES has very specific requirements for submission of required documents (official certificates, transcripts, and translations). Diana has submitted all documents as required.
Situation with Documents:
Diana has completed 2 degrees: a BA in Journalism, and a Diploma in Audiovisual Communication.
The WES web site "My Account" page shows that Diana is missing the academic transcripts for the second degree. WES has accepted all other documents that Diana sent.
Diana's university has sent one official transcript and an English translation. The name of the degree shown written on this transcript is "Licenciatura in Periodismo-Diploma in Comunicacion Audiovisual". The first page of the English Translation of the transcript shows "BA in Journalism-Diploma in Audiovisual Communication."
This 1 academic transcript clearly covers both of her degrees. So WES has made a mistake in showing that the transcripts for the second degree, Diploma in Audiovisual Communication, has not been received.
Correspondence to Date:
I sent emails through WES online form on August 12 and August 28. Both times I received an automated message confirming receipt of my correspondence, but no other reply.
I spoke with WES customer service on August 13, and on August 29. In both cases, the customer service was friendly, looked at the documents that had been received, and seemed to understand that a mistake had been made, and told me that the "processor" would evaluate my documents and respond by email shortly.Desired Settlement: Deliver the evaluation immediately! College application deadlines are approaching.

We have received the correspondence from [redacted] for [redacted]. Please note that the online error was corrected on the same day of the phone call with one of our agents. Response:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
The evaluation report I downloaded from [redacted] is empty. It contains only a cover page. See attached.
[redacted] has informed me that a copy of the evaluation report was sent in the mail yesterday. I have not yet received this however.
In the meantime, I will assume that what they sent in the mail is the same incomplete report that I downloaded online. Until I actually see a completed evaluation, my complaint is not resolved.
In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.
Sincerely,

Response:
Dear [redacted],
We have received the correspondence from [redacted]. Please note that the file was completed and mailed to the applicant on September **, 2014. The online system which allow applicants to view the reports is having problems with some browsers. This is however a complimentary service. The applicant is welcomed to submit any concerns once she receives the report.
Sincerely,
Review: I was billed twice for a single transaction. I've called countless times and submitted mutliple emails to the website, but no one has responded to me.Desired Settlement: Refund- Credit Card Credit

Review: I requested a foreign transcript evaluation report from World Education Services in order to apply for PhD programs. The order included a hard copy of the report sent to my address and an electronic copy sent to [redacted], an online application service employed by two universities in my area. According to WES, both were mailed/emailed on 1/**/15. However, neither has reached the intended recipient. WES has claimed that my report has been returned twice by the [redacted] as "undeliverable", but the address used is my correct home address where I regularly receive mail. Each time, they ask for an additional $7 (for regular postal delivery) or more (for tracked mail). Incredibly, the electronic transfer of the report to [redacted] was simultaneously thwarted due to a "computer glitch". I have now paid $254 for reports that were never received.Desired Settlement: I would like them to provide reports to [redacted] and myself. I do not want to pay an additional $7-20 for delivery since the address is correct. Clearly, if there is an issue with the report being "undeliverable", they need to check their own practices because the address provided is the only location I receive mail.

Response:
[redacted] has received a copy of my WES report. I no longer wish to have a copy of the report, myself. Complaint ID [redacted] has been resolved.
Sincerely,
Review: I submitted a request to WES to have my transcripts evaluated on 11/*/14. I then submitted a message to them on 11/**/14 (which I have a copy of) in which I asked them to review my case to see why I needed to resubmit documents they already had. I received a response on 11/**/2014 saying that they could see I had made a previous order and my two orders would be linked to the same account. I responded by thanking them for their email but saying that this did not address my initial question. After not hearing from them at all, on 12/**/2014, I went ahead and ordered the documents they had requested from me because I wanted to complete my SOPHAS application and I could not do this without WES's evaluation.
I then checked my WES account the last week in January and they had cancelled my order. Naturally, I was confused and worried so I called them and was told that I had ordered the wrong evaluation and that all I needed was to submit a request for a duplicate evaluation. They refunded me my money, which of course I appreciate, but when I asked them why no one had a) told me that my order had been cancelled or b) responded to my initial email back in November 2014, I was told a [redacted] would need to speak to me. A [redacted] did call me back within an hour and after arguing with me initially despite not having access to any of the correspondence between me and WES, she agreed to look into my case and get back to me within 24 hours. WES's delay in dealing with my case back in November and responding to both of my emails meant that I was no longer eligible to apply for scholarships on my program and I stressed this to the [redacted] when I spoke to her. It has been 6 weeks since someone promised to get back in touch with me and explain why my emails and requests were overlooked. I have tried to follow up via both phone and email but no one has responded to me. I'm asking the Revdex.com to look into this matter because there is no customer service built into the WES system and ultimately I want to know how and why this company is able to treat its customers, myself included, in this manner. SOPHAS requests that international students use WES for evaluation purposes and so if I decide to resubmit an application next year (as I've now missed the deadline for scholarships this year because of the delay caused by WES) WES has a virtual monopoly on the market and so I will be forced to use them again.Desired Settlement: I would like an explanation of a) why my attempts to get in touch with them in November were overlooked/ignored; b) how my order was cancelled without them notifying me via email, phone, or mail; c) how after telling me they would contact me within 24 hours they have continued to ignore my follow up requests for 6 weeks; and d) an apology for not handling my case appropriately at all. As I mentioned before, they have a virtual monopoly on this market and I believe that is why they treat customers this way. If I am forced to use them again, I want to know that there are actual processes in place that will handle my concerns and address them appropriately.

Response:
Dear [redacted], We have received the correspondence regarding [redacted]. We are sorry to hear that the applicant had such a hard time reaching our customer service support staff in November. After carefully reviewing the file I have determined the following. It is apparent that the applicant mistakenly applied for a new evaluation instead of a duplicate report. Yes, the applicant applied in November, but it had been on hold waiting to see what credentials the applicant would submit. When the official transcripts arrived and the evaluator noticed that it was the same credentials which were evaluated in 2012, we cancelled the file. WES cancelled and refunded the second evaluation on January **, 2015. The applicant called on February *, 2015 concerning the cancellation, we informed her that since she did not have any new credentials the file was cancelled and that she should go online and order a duplicate report. She has not applied for a duplicate report since that call. 1.The applicant states that she was not notified , but we sent her a letter with full explanation on 1/**/2015. 2. The order duplicate tab is available online3. When evaluations completed and mailed to applicants, we enclose an insert which also informs you “ How to order a duplicate report”.4. Online ( My Status Page) All applicants can apply for a duplicate report by going to their online account. There is full text and a tab which shows them how to make the order. At this stage we can offer the applicant a complimentary report to SOPHAS. If [redacted] would like to supply the specific Schools of Public Health where she intends to apply, we can contact them personally. She should also supply me with her SOPHAS ID number. My email address is posted below for her convenience. Sincerely, [redacted]
Review: In April 2015 I started the process of having my documents evaluated by WES. My former schools have sent the documents to WES. In addition the schools have confimed that they have sent and resent the documents and WES is still stating that there are some documents missing. I have tried to contact WES by phone and via email (request form on website) without success. Today is October [redacted] 2015 and WES has neither responded to me nor have they evaluated any of the documents the website shows as received.
I would like for WES to get in touch with me so that we can figure out what exactly they are missing or simply refund my money back to me that I paid in April. So that I can use that money to pay another service provider to get my documents evaluated as I would really love to study in the US as soon as possible.Desired Settlement: I am requesting that WES contact me immediately to clarify which documents they are missing.
Their website is also stating that a transcript will be needed for evaluation. However, the school I went to did not have that to my understanding and therefore will never send transcripts but only the final certificate.
If they are unable to evaluate the documents, I am requesting that I receive a full refund as I have not received any services from them.
