Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.
As it turns out WWW did issue the credit and the reversal ( second charge) was done by OUR bank.  I owe them an apology for assuming it was them who reinstated the charge.

Please regard the case as closed with the provision that they never use our credit card number again.

Sincerely,

I am writing this complaint because I was sold a membership and then on the follow up call I was approached for an additional $895 "optimization" charge. This company is a scam and I want everyone that sees their advertisement on LinkedIn to be aware this is a fast talking sales scam. I only wish I had used better judgement to begin with and not given them any money!

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved. For the record however I would like to make the following statement.
The representative did not go through the procedure that is claimed in the email:

  1. Firstly I explicitly requested to evaluate their database, and have some proof of the service they were offering. I was told this was not possible.
  2. No such statement was made about the irrevocable nature of the commitment to purchase, and if they are dealing with UK Citizens they have a responsibility to understand our distance trading laws which would not permit this.
  3. I was told it was not possible to think about their offer, I had to make a decision on that call because of their costs.

I am however satisfied with the speed in which Revdex.com has managed to resolve this issue, and I express my gratitude to your team.
Sincerely,

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

This complaint had been closed due to the fact that “Worldwide Who’s Who” agreed to refund my money and “will not receive any further charges or demands for payment”.

However, today I see that they again charged my card for $199.  Therefore, they lied and this is still open.
