The technician that was sent out to my house did an excellent job of inspecting my furnace to see that it was ready for winter. I feel comfortable that everything is working properly.
I was very pleased with my experience with this company. This was the first time I had someone come out since the other company I used went out of business. This company did a very professional job in taking over. The tech went out of his way to make my service exceptional.
The Wirenut service representative showed me an estimate for $18123.00 to replace 2 furnaces both or which, according to him, has cracked heat exchangers. He even showed me a photograph of one of the alleged cracked heat exchangers. A second and third opinion submitted by other reputable heating contractors discovered no such cracked heat exchangers and the entire repair for the two heaters that supposedly required replacement totaled just over $1,800.00. When I was shown the heat exchangers in my furnaces, there were no cracks in the heat exchanger and, in fact, the heat exchangers I inspected looked nothing like the heat exchanger in the photo that the Wirenut technician had shown me. The only explanation I can come up with is that the Wirenut technician was attempting to defraud me out of over $16,000. Inexcusable.
I have honestly had one of the most painful experiences of my life dealing with this company. They have cost me 12 days on a 1.5 month long project, as we had to wait to do work to get inspections done, fix faulty work, and get up to code after failing multiple inspections. Their ineptitude and lack of inter-office communication is truly incredible.
I called them in need of electrical work my contractor ran into after taking out some walls. We were moving in a week, so while their quote was very high, they said they could get the work done quickly so we were willing to pay the premium. The deal was to get the work done in a day or two, call in the inspection right after they finished, and get out. Instead they initially faxed the permit, which takes 3 days, once this was rectified (-3 days due to weekend) they got the address wrong on the permit (-4 days).
We then moved in and several outlets didn't even work. They hadn't even traced all the lines they worked on to make sure everything was working. They came back out and fixed it (-6 days) but then failed the final inspection twice because what they had done wasn't up to code (-11 days). After fixing it they forgot to call for an inspection (-12 days), which is the third time this happened. The work was finally completed ultimately costing me almost two weeks and a lot of heartache.
Everyone has been friendly when dealing with them but to need them to come out four different times and screw up calling in permits/inspections 3 different time is ridiculous. I would recommend going with someone else if you have any choice whatsoever.

The WireNut finished all the work in just one day!! Upon installing the furnace they let me know that I have water heater issues I wasn't aware of- so glad I know now! The staff was very knowledgeable, professional, & polite. Upon finishing I was told that if I had any concerns, just call & they would do their best to make things right! After inspecting work done, I'm happy to say that I have NO concerns at all. Which says a lot as it's rare that I deal with a company & have NO concerns with the work done. Being a perfectionist, I tend to expect perfection in others as well. It was a pleasure working with The WireNut & I would feel confident recommending them to anyone!
The two technicians that came out to my home for some electrical work were on time, courteous and patient with all the things going on at my house for repairs. They went over everything at my house and was very patient in going over everything with me. I am very pleased with what they did.
The service technician was very professional in his work. He explained all of what he was doing. I was very impressed. Would like to see him again. Good job!
We called to have bathroom fans repaired/replaced and specifically asked how that would work regarding trip charges if replacement fans were needed and multiple trips were required. We were told by the technician that one fan was just dirty and as a result was working harder than it needed to. He told us we needed to clean it. The said the other fan was not an electrical issue, rather, "the fan needed to be replaced". They declined to do the work, yet, they still expected to be paid the trip charge.
Please get a second opinion if you choose to use this company. I was told I had thousands of dollars worth of work needed. I got a second opinion and I needed absolutely nothing. I am selling my home and needed an inspection. Wirenut would not even give me one as they said I needed so much work. My home is only 5 years old. I did end up getting the inspection and passed everything with the new company I used. Please please please... do your homework and get a second opinion if you even choose to use this company!!!!
The electrician was fast and efficient. He replaced a couple outlets that were overlooked previously as we had so many. Checked light switch and fixed loose wires. As of now it's working fine
I had some electrical power issues, that I just could not get figured out myself. I contacted The Wirenut for some help. They came out within 6 hours and got the problem solved. The issue was a lose wire, and taken care of quickly.
The technician was very professional. He called 30 minutes prior to arriving and was there right on time to the appointment. When he finished the work, he pointed out several other concerns that needed to be addressed, code wise.

We have used the Wirenut twice, and both times they attempted to severely overcharge. The latest attempt to use them was April 2, 2016. They did not give a quote over the phone, but we had a coupon. We wanted a simple installation of an additional outlet. The electrician came to the house, pulled out a confusing booklet, and quoted a ridiculous price of over $600. We refused and he said that there was a cost to come out. We ended up negotiating a lower price, but we still got ripped off. I'm writing this review to save others from making the same mistake that we made. I would highly recommend not using Wirenut, and going with an another company.
