In 1997 we purchased a furnace through J.D. [redacted] which was purchased by The WireNut company. We just recently found out that J.D. [redacted] did not pull a permit on our furnace installation. I contacted WireNut who came out on Saturday to review the furnace to see what steps needed to be followed to get a permit pulled and to have the city inspectors hopefully give their approval and place the proper documentation on the furnace and air conditioner. During our 1-2 hour meeting I was informed that if I wanted to purchase a warranty package for $464.00 they would handle everything. During our conversation the person from WireNut could not even tell me what this would cover and I asked him to return to his supervisors and asked for an official quote on their Quick Fix program and break it down to insure if I purchased the service all my needs would be met. Today is Thursday, the 11th of February 2016 and I have yet to hear from WireNut or to receive a quote proposal.

Great knowledge and customer service from everyone at the company. Daniel is our new "go to guy" for future electrical service. Good job WireNut!

Feb 12, 2015, temps in the 30's the furnace wouldn't come on. called and had technician out within 2 hrs. Igniter went out, was replaced; furnace, vents, gas completely checked for working satisfactorily. technician very informative, knowledgeable, thorough and pleasant to work with. Feb 17th had appt with [redacted] for consultation on a new furnace system cost etc as mine was over 17 yrs old. During this time he took some pictures and looked at my current system and found a large crack (and viewed by customer). this was a danger of carbon monoxide to occupants at any time and needed to be red tagged (and turned off) We were able to have new furnace placed the next day. Everyone we worked with from 1st phone call was very helpful, knowledgeable, and completed work very timely. What started out one day with disturbing news and frustration, ended with complete satisfaction and assurance that I had called The Wirenut the very 1st day.

We scheduled a job with The Wire Nut but had to cancel it the next day for a financial reason before they even came to do any work. We paid for half the job and they said they would give us a partial refund but that they would keep 15% (they kept $859) of the total job ($5,727 = total job). We can understand paying a couple hundred, but not $859.10 for work that they didn't even perform. We never signed a contract, we know a permit is only about $100 and we shouldn't have to pay a restocking fee for labor. The 15% "policy" isn't written anywhere - not even on their website. I can't think of any business that would justify keeping $859 of a customers money without doing any work especially when that policy is not written anywhere.

It is very apparent that the technicians have an excellent work ethic. They arrived, got right to work and completed the HVAC system installation well within the time estimated.

The service electrician was very prompt, efficient and professional as all the guys have ben in the past. So far we have been very pleased with this company.

The two technicians that came to my home were very courteous and professional. They were right on time per the scheduled appointment. I had to get my furnace checked and updated. They explained everything they were doing very well and even did a fantastic job of cleaning up when they were done with the work. They were in and out, with everything up to par.

The techician that was sento out to my home was polite, prompt and very professional. He did a really good job working on myair conditioning system. He talked to me about a club plan that could save me money each year, when they come out to service the HVAC system. I appreciate the quality of customer service the gave me.

The technician I had is the "best. He is very efficient & puts a lot of pride in his job. Also, very professional & considerate of his customers. He is a definite plus for the company.

Wire Nuts technician [redacted], has made replacing a breaker box a terrible and un nerving experience for me and my landlord. Not only did he cancel appointments, show up late, not make courtesy calls, forget numerous parts, and leave his apprentice alone more than once.
After being two hours late on the day the work was due to be completed, [redacted] told me I would have power again by 2-4. 4 Rolls around and he says well now it'll be done by 6. seven pm hits and I asked him how much longer this would be, because it was now pitch black in my house and outside and I was uncomfortable with the fact that this has taken so long and now it is dark, he told me maybe another hour. I then said I would prefer you to leave and come back and finish in the morning. He told me that couldn't be done.
Because he chose not to listen to me and my request, my father came out to the property and asked him and his teammate to leave for the day. they did right away.

The Wirenut claims to be devoted to service but nothing could be farther from the truth. They aquired my HVAC installer, [redacted] who had provided exceptional service, so I contacted them when I was having A/C issues at the start of the summer season. The earliest they could work with my schedule was a week later, so my wife took time off to make their two hour window for repair. Less than an hour before their scheduled appointment, they called to say they were behind and had to reschedule. This nessesitated another week of waiting as temperatures rose, and my wife once again had to take time off work to meet their window. Once again, my wife and I recieved calls one hour before the scheduled window advising that they had to reschule again. Rescheduled on last time for 4 days later, wilth wife having to take off work for a third time, and she waited through the entire two hour window, with no contacts from WireNut until a full hour after the window to be notified they were on their way within 20 minutes. They then called back to cancel due to inclement weather. At this point, the company has cost us over a hundred dollars in lost wages, and has made zero efforts to provide the service they laud on their own website, nor to offer suitable compensation. I have selected another company and was able to schedule service the next day. I hope that this notification of failure serves as a warning to others who value their time, money, and peace of mind that the Wirenut will cost you all three.

I had a very unusual electrical problem that needed to be resolved in my home. The electrician was so knowledgeable and problem solved to get the issue taken care of. It took awhile, but in the end, everything got fixed and now works great.

Excellent service: earlier than scheduled!, very courteous, professionally done, tech clearly explained what needed to be done, work completed efficiently and successfully, reasonable price given nature of the work.
