  ...have been better off paying more to go elsewhere. Horrible customer service. At least they were polite on the conversations, that was the only thing they had going for them. Polite doesn't deliver. Nor does it qualify as an apology. After filing reviews on several sites, it is very apparent that Uhaul does not respond to complaints on sites like [redacted] and [redacted]+ and this is a recurring issue for this location.   ...to gain national status. I see that I am not alone. Apparently only a [redacted] complaint is sufficient to rouse U-Haul from its stupor and convince it to make right with the people who have paid it hard-earned money. Out of 146 [redacted] reviews at the time of this writing, 140 have been negative.   ...already but the fact I asked multiple people, and my file says $465 per box, and my bank statement says it was charged $465 for one box, pretty much tells me they too thought that it was $465 per box.Desired Settlement: I'm not asking much, I am asking to be charged what I was originally told $465 per box one way.   ...I rented a truck in Pueblo Colorado for my business for 1 day. I turned the truck in early, clean and with more fuel than I left with. The dealer I use is a good dealer and I have had no problems in the past. (I have even given them excellent reviews when I get and email survey). However, I left a $100 cash deposit this time and was supposed to get a $33+ refund. They asked if mailing a check was fine and I said sure. I have waited 8 days and have had several calls to the Call center in Phoenix...

  ...statements that I needed to go to my bank, it was their problem. How would my bank be responsible for UHaul withdrawing too much money? When I checked my bank statements I was not credited the month Aug. After 2 years of timely uninterupted payments I did not even recieve an apology or even a credit. If I would have read all these bad reviews I would have definately paid another storage facility for 2 years. I want my credit and I suggest UHaul send their managers to customer service training.

  ...a report and took numerous pictures for me to report to uhauls insurance to have our bumper repaired. The way they wired it also voided our warranty on electrical and was not installed as explained. We knew our case was slim because upon looking at reviews for their insurance company we saw the company asked for a lot of pics and quotes and documentation from customers, but nobody ever gets paid out or their car fixed, but we continued on.   ...because they don't have a moving truck the day they are supposed to leave because U-Haul overbooks. My SECOND issue with U-Haul involves the location in Crystal Lake, IL. We paid them to hook up wiring to my hitch. Even though there were bad reviews on Yelp, we tried them anyway. A few months later, which was earlier this week, I'm driving and my car is engulfed in smoke and a burning smell. I immediately took it to a car repair shop who says that the wiring is bad and has melted, which I have to replace.

  ...and he said "NO". Who would want to take the chance? Then when I returned the bike hitch he gave me hell about it saying to the affect that they would naturally assume that it I just used it and brought it back. Really?! Mr. [redacted] had the nerve to say that when I the hitch was defective and even if it wasn't the straps were not only outdated, but were not the same ones described in the instructions! I agree with the Google reviews, he is a jerk, but arrogant jerk would be more precise.

  ...that should not have been a problem in the first place. We have wasted time and money that we should not have had to spend. The New York office half-assed every interaction we had with them and this whole experience has been the worst part of our 2,600 mile move. I will never use this company again, and from the reviews and ratings I see elsewhere I would suggest that they change their business plan to actually accommodate their customers rather than make their move an expensive nightmare.

  My experience was so unreal that it will make me never again use UHAUL, even though I recognize that their availability and product makes them so easy to use and almost invincible to reviews like this one. I was charged the normal correct amount after my move, and then almost two weeks later a mysterious additional charge showed up on my credit card. No explanation, no receipt...nothing. So I called the branch manager, not once, but twice, and both times he said that he would get back to me...

  ...has led to the additional charge,whether it be because of a change in service or completely lacking in reason). Uhaul obviously does not care about it's customers, as evidenced by the hundreds, if not thousands, of startlingly negative reviews on the web. I feel like they robbed us and I feel powerless in this situation. I will never be putting myself in this position again and I was hoping that the Revdex.com would be able to help me, and if not me, then the people in the future that PURCHASE this service.
