My argument is based on how I was misled in their advertising that the [redacted] lowering springs would work with oem and aftermarket KYB Struts and Shocks. The only way to know whether or not this combination would have worked or not was to actually install them. After installing them, I noticed on certain roads the suspension would bottom-out. After a few weeks of the same I decided to complain to their customer service about my experience. They connected me to their expert suspension tech guy who explained to me the reason I'm bottoming out is because the struts and shocks are longer than the shorter [redacted] lowering springs. I explained what I was told to customer service and was told I didn't ask that question before purchasing the item. I explained to her that I went based on what their website says, that it would work with oem or aftermarket struts and shocks to no avail. To show that I would've gotten the same response, had I spoken to a live person, I went on a live chat with them. I pretended to be a new customer inquiring whether or not these two items would work, and was told it would. (see original complaint). When I confronted customer service with this bombshell, I was still denied  a full refund for the [redacted] lowering springs, and replacement of the front struts. Look, the fact of the matter is my vehicle is bottoming out as a result of these items that are supposed to work together, according to their website's advertising. (see original complaint). And the fact their first expert confirmed that from the beginning. Therefore, I would only accept they admit their false advertisement, change it to avoid any future complaints with other consumers, give me a full refund for the [redacted] lowering Springs and replace the front KYB Struts with a fresh pair, because there's no telling what is the extent of the damage these lowering springs caused the rest of my suspension.

[redacted],Thank you for the review you left with the Revdex.com. We appreciate the opportunity to help you resolve the issue you are having. We received your initial request to return the two items in question. We advised returns must be in new uninstalled and resalable condition. The two items in...

the return were sent back to the manufacturer and upon receiving the items they were inspected. They were deemed non returnable due to installation marks and scuffs indicating they had been installed and used. We have already sent you the return denied email and the manufacturer is sending the units back to you. We are very sorry for the inconvenience and frustration you are experiencing regarding your order. The return policy is plainly stated on our site and you were advised at the time of the return that the items need to be in new and unused condition. Please advise if you have additional questions by calling our Customer Service team at [redacted]. Thank you, AutoAnything Customer Service.

Revdex.com,Thank you for sending this directly to me. There are freight laws we cannot control. Once a customer signs the freight Bill of Lading (which is a legal document) stating they are accepting it as is we are not legally able to file a claim. We sent the customer an email letting them know the...

freight laws and asking that they fully inspect the item prior to signing for it because once it is signed they are stuck with it regardless of the damage. That is why we were unable to file a claim or credit back the customer. The customer filed a chargeback with their credit card company, they received a full refund from us because of it in the amount of $699.95 and they also have the product. We do not have anything else to provide the customer at this time.Regards,[redacted]

The Autoanything employee neglected to explain to the Revdex.com  that this particular item was not purchased on 3-19-2013.  The fact if the matter is this item was purchased in 2011 and then replaced under the manufacturer warranty by Autoanything on  3-19-2013 for the exact same reason that I am requesting it be replaced now.    As I explained to the customer service representative,  the problem is not with the finish as claimed by Autoanything.   The problem is with the poor workmanship and design of the item.  I submitted photographic evidence of such as requested by Autoanything customer service.  This is my second go around with this inferior product.   Poor workmanship and poor design has caused this grill guard to corrode and rust under the clear coat finish. The finish is still intact and not the issue here.  I initially requested an in store credit to replace the grill guard with one manufactured by someone other than [redacted]. The Customer service representative called me back and offered a $150 credit.  Autoanything does not even have a grill guard available at that price.  It was a low ball offer.   I want to make it perfectly clear that this item was purchased from Autoanything and they should stand behind the product and the products warranty. Once again, the products finish is not at issue here and the manufacturer warranty is still in effect.  If you are going to advertise a warranty then stand behind it!

I took the pics.  The dealer marked the defective parts.  I just sent them and I want a prepaid postage label so I may return for a full refund.  Their handling of this situation is very disappointing.  You pay that much for a product and it is defective as you pull the parts out of the package and immediately they say it is a warranty issue?   The deaker identified the parts needed and that should have been sufficient.   This will not be resolved until I get my refund

Revdex.com,

The customer was emailed a Freight notification email on 11/23 informing him that he must fully inspect the item because with Freight when you sign for it it is a legal document stating you accept the item "as is" and legally the customer nor AutoAnything can do anything to rectify the...

situation because the customer is taking the responsibility off the Freight company. We understand this is a surprise to most customers which is why we send each customer an email that orders an item that ship via freight so they are educated and aware of the guidelines. As a one time courtesy AutoAnything is willing to eat the cost on the $835 part so the customer can receive a new one. If this replacement is damaged in any way and the customer signs for it again without inspection we will not be able to assist the customer a second time. We are willing to help the customer out as a one time courtesy.

Revdex.com, I have reviewed the customer's order and we have processed a return for the customer  on 3/14. Once the item is returned he will receive a refund. The customer has requested a refund and that is exactly how the return was set up. There should be no further action required on our end....

I agree with the business response that brake rotors last on average 40,000 to 50,000 miles. As I stated in my original complaint the ones the business supplied lasted only 18,000 miles before rusting and becoming pitted resulting in loud noise and lost of effectiveness  !  They were simply not make to last as represented ... there was not a defect that anyone  would have noticed right away.  I have had to have them replaced and would therefore like a refund of the amount paid.I request that at the very least that the Revdex.com post this complaint as a complaint on the quality of the product not being as represented.

[redacted],Thank you so much for the complaint you wrote to the Revdex.com regarding the tail lights you ordered from AutoAnything. We are sorry you are having issues with the driver side tail light. We have reviewed your order and comments. We want to take a moment to help you understand our warranty contract...

with the manufacturer. We have our 30 day money back guarantee in like new unused condition. The manufacturer has a one year warranty that covers defects and failure due to defects. We cannot replace part of an order that is sold and priced as a set. We do understand you ordered from us and not them. When you called to ask for a warranty and we advised we set up a return and replacement. We advised that the manufacturer will not send a set until a set is returned and inspected. After hearing that you terminated the call. We did not pursue the warranty request once the ball was in your court. We completely understand how returning the tail lights will leave you with no rear lights since you discarded the original lights. We do not want our customers in a position like this. We will therefore issue credit to the replacement order without need of return. Once the new order is received you may discard the first set at your leisure. We hope that this gesture will show we are dedicated to a five star level of service. Thank you, AutoAnything Customer Service.
