I was impressed with the salesperson's ability to deliver everything he promised during the sales appointment. He was honest and made sure we were completely comfortable with our flooring choices. I felt no pressure whatsoever during the appointment. The installation process was amazing. Our installer was a perfectionist. He was professional and honest. I am a customer for life.

My experience with Empire Today (Maryland [redacted]) was absolutely fantastic! I was very impressed with the sales, the service, and the installation. I will use them again and highly recommend you consider them. The price was very good and beat all of the quotes I received from local competitors. The convenience was very positive. I have a rental. I told empire how important the carpet got installed on a specific date - no problem. I emphasized this over and over because we had a tenant moving in; this is our business. The only reason I chose them is because they promised a specific date. Gave them 3 weeks lead time. Today, day of install; they cannot find our order, have no install date, lost our order but sure enough took my $500. deposit. Spoke with customer service and the girl was laughing in the background as I became more and more upset. They have cost me time and money because my tenant cannot move in with the current carpet situation. They have lost not only my business, but my entire families business now and in the future.

We appreciate the customer contacting us regarding their concerns. We have cancelled the order per and refunded the deposit the customer’s request.  We appreciate the customer’s feedback and consider this matter...

Floors installed on Friday 2/10 so far great experience, great service.

I had purchased the service from Empire flooring for my carpet change and make appointment for them to come on sat 9/3/2016. installer call in advance and came in professionally, and soon we found out the carpet is a defect. quickly the installer contact a person who work for empire local branch for solution and even offer to come back to my house any time to have the carpet install properly. after about 5 minute of communication, the installer gives me the phone to speak to the "person". He told me he will have to make couple phone call and he will get back to the installer after, but he is watching a game at "[redacted]". At this point, i'm not even sure he is going to call right away or after the game.
right away, I contact the headquarter at **SSN**0. spoke to the customer service, and there is nothing she can do, so I ask her to transfer me to her supervisor. waited couple minute, the phone hangup. then I make 2nd attempt, finally get to speak to the supervisor, her answer is simple, there is nothing she can do and only the local branch can provide solution, BUT she has file a ticket and someone will contact me within 24 hours regarding the issue. 24 hours? so I ask, is there any one working on Sunday or labor day? her answer is NO. so...who is going to call me? her answer is "some one will call you on Tuesday".
So this weekend I have to live in a house with my old carpet gone and staple poking out everywhere on the wooden floor. my only way to the shower room is going through the staple dynamite. my friend got hurt from it by accident, and my dog is chewing some of the staple and I hope he didnt eat it. According to Empire flooring, I pay for this type of long weekend because customer does not matter, their holiday is more important. Maybe that is why they offer me the last minute carpet installation.
Oh even better, today is Tuesday, 9/6/2016, still did not get any phone call from the "empire".

Ordered 6x24" tile flooring and was very satisfied with the quality and durability of the product. Had researched other vendors and Empire had the best product and price available. The installers were very professional and courteous. They completed three rooms (2 bathrooms and 1 laundry room) in a day and a half which exceeded my expectations. Very happy customer! Thank you Empire and your amazing installer team!

So happy with the installation of vinyl tile and carpet in my home. The salesman was not pushy and showed us exactly what we requested. The installers were two professional guys that worked the whole day to get it done and it looks wonderful! Would recommend to anyone!

My experience with Empire was positive.

I am highly dissatisfied with Empire Today's business practices. I cancelled a contract within the time frame they allow (the next day, in fact). I had placed a down payment of $1800. I was told this would take up to 2 weeks to be refunded. They then proceeded to charge a line of credit for work that was never done--another $3500!! Upon calling them, they say this will also take 7-10 business days to be resolved and I should call my bank as well. What?! I cannot say how unhappy I am with Empire Today. They now have over $5000 of my money for work that has not been done. I will be seeking legal counsel if I do not get my money refunded promptly. Buyer beware.

Very Good Experience.

Empire Today did everything so professionally. The salesman was so personable and did not make us feel pressured.
The install of 3 rooms of laminate was estimated to take 3 days. I have mobility issues and I care for my parents who are in their 80s. I had to get someone to take care of them-out of my house-during the install which was very difficult for them.
When the installers arrived they were clean cut friendly and made me so comfortable right way. They moved the furniture so carefully, took up the old carpet and disposed of it, and swept the floors as they went. The job was completed in 1 day instead of 3!
I was so happy and my floors are beautiful. Thank you Empire Today. You have made me a customer for life.

Satisfied with the business

I had a fantastic experience with Empire Carpet. It was easy to make an appointment, I had a nice and knowledgeable salesperson, and the installation was done on time and well.

Review: Nail salon was very unsanitary, dirty washcloths, dirty equipment (not freshly cleaned or in sterile packet). Upon finishing the manicure, she sniped off skin that she had accidentally gotten paint on instead of using polish remover. There was a small child running around and at one point they grabbed her and put her in a back room and slammed the door while she continued to cry. I felt dirty after going in there and am worried I may get an infection from the dirty utensils.Desired Settlement: I'd love a refund, but more than anything would like for the health inspector to make a surprise visit! It was awful! I'm from another state and just visiting, I am horrified.
