Yes they said that they would have the recall taken care of by Toyota...which would be no...

cost to them. I did that myself. I had  that one problem fixed for free by Toyota. I didn't trust Jack Daniels to take care of it in light of the fact that they told me the recall was "taken care of " before I bought it. The other issues were that I then had to pay $1898. in various repairs which I discovered after the engine light came on after I had driven the vehicle only 100 miles. Jack Daniels Motors lied to me about the recall and they sold me a truck with a faulty speed sensor and combination meter, worn out universal joint and a leaking water pump. I grossly overpaid Jack Daniels Motors for a truck in this condition. To allow them to get away with these types of business practices is a tragedy for the unsuspecting consumer

I responded by saying I do not accept the Jack Daniels response due to their lies. I would...

have never put an additional two thousand dollars down on my son’s cars if the salesman would have not told me that I still owed $1,800,00.You can interview my wife and son because they were sitting right there when we were kept at the dealership for over three hours so the salesman could ascertain that his boss would handle the situation. Dealerships regularly take cars back early from leases and even send letters just for that purpose so they can get a new lease signed. This was a scam and we held out hope that your agency was helping protect us consumers and then someone from your agency conveniently doesn’t see my response. I went on the site and the response from me is there.I do not agree with the dealers lying response.

I was sent an automated email from NJ Revdex.com this past weekend stating that my complaint has been closed out due to my not responding....

  I did not respond as I was awaiting [redacted] Hall's phone call, per [redacted]' response to the complaint.   I apologize in that I did not know I was required to respond within 10 days. Needless to say, I did not receive a call from Mr. [redacted] or any communication from [redacted].  It appears they have stayed the course in delaying and hoping that the matter gets resolved in their favor  through my inaction and giving up.  That will not be the case, as I will continue to pursue this issue, with your help and NJ Revdex.com.  As such, I wish the case to be reopened.  As noted, I have various emails to support my position and promises made by [redacted] to refund me.

On behalf of Jack Daniels Kia I want to apologize if your credit was effected in anyway. We will work to resolve this issue. This complaint has been forwarded to our management team. Thank you.

There are no further comments on our end regarding this complaint. The buyer committed fraud by falsifying his  employment.

[redacted] Being that we have a $50 cancellation fee which was stated in the contract normally we wouldn't be refunding this. However as we agreed to you will be getting a check. We had sent the original one out as we stated before but you hadn't received it. Nishant, has put in for another check request but it needs to be signed by the owner before getting sent out. The owner is the only person allowed to sign a check and he will return after the holidays. Please be patient with us, we apologize for any inconvenience. Thank You.

I am rejecting this response because: The proposal does not remediate the consequential damage to the vehicle, and therefore, the infringement upon my lease obligations concerning lease turn in, trade in for a different make or my option to buy at lease end.  Rudy did tell me twice it would be an oem camera. Mike never said it would be an aftermarket one and I had no knowledge about who would install it. It could have been an outside Audi tech coming to install it. Those details were not disclosed to me beforehand and I brought my vehicle to Jack Daniels Audi for the service. You also left me with an expired dealer plate which resulted in loss of use for the days the vehicle could not be driven.More than anything, I want this matter to be resolved amicably and fairly. The situation has been very stressful to me and I can wholeheartedly tell you I would never treat a customer this way. Replacing the vehicle up front was the right thing to do.  You didn't do it then but you can do it now.
