Hello,Was originally invalid for no UPC. consumer Provided UPC and was resubmitted on 1/22. Submission was approved upon proper UPC being provided by consumer  and a rebate reward check was approved by the sponsor on 3/16. Check  mailed 3/20 and was cashed on 4/10....

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I thank you for the information  the information received - in fact this was helpful in resolving the issue.  I believe the wrong information was sent in error to the rebate processor.As stated the correct UPC was sent.  However the incorrect invoice & rebate form was sent to the rebate processor.  As a courtesy I have attached the required documentation (rebate T&C and invoice) for reprocessing / re-submission.

Thank you for taking initiative to resolve this issue. But the case is that I NEVER received the checks so I can not return them. You can check your system, those checks never got cleared. Kaspersky confirmed that the two checks never cleared. Please re-issue the two $35 checks based on these facts.

 Note: I believe I found the original debit Visa card that this business uses to issue the rebates for CBs and CB microphones from Loves Travel Centers and other truck stops. The problem is that it does not identify itself as being a card sent as the rebate for the CB and microphone and the amount preloaded on it. The only name at the top said DAS Rebate!! This company needs to be more clear and include a letter with the Card explaining that this is how it issues rebates. I was clearly expecting a cash rebate in the form of a check that I could deposit into my checking account. I'm not sure if I can use the debit card to pay for my utility bills over the phone, etc.  It said in the letter card attached no ATM or CASH access! I can't even use this card for a gasoline purchase at the pump. I will attempt to use the new card they issue inside a filling station. When I realized they issue the rebate via a prepaid credit card I looked through my junk mail and found it.  But evidently it can no longer be activated. So I will wait for them to send out a replacement card. The card I found said it only contained $20. So apparently two cards were mailed to me. the other one must have been discarded as a credit card offer! I hope they issue one card with the full amount, but if two cards are sent I will use both to purchase gasoline inside the filling station for the amount on each card.

Also, as we have stated to you before, Velocity is merely the processor of the claims, the sponsor of the offer must release authorization and issue payments on the claims.  Velocity does not control the timing of the approval of your claim by the sponsor.  However your claim is still within the processing time stated on the terms and conditions of the offer. To reiterate on your other comment where you stated that this is a repeated problem, if you would reference your prior complaint back in May of 2014 where you stated that your submissions were submitted completely and timely…   Please recall that on that complaint there were two offers where on one you did not comply with the terms and conditions on the postmark date requirement and on the other you provided the wrong information and the wrong product UPC for the offer you sent in for.  You were also provided all of the documentation to support the fact that your receipt of the rebate was hindered by your noncompliance with the terms and conditions of the offers.    Again, Velocity is not the sponsor of the offers and did not sell these products to Mr. [redacted].  Mr. [redacted] purchased these items from the respective sponsors of the offer and they provide specific terms and conditions that are necessary in order to qualify for the offer and determine the payment on the offer.  Terms and conditions include providing the expectation for approximately when you will receive your claim if it is found to be valid

terms and conditionsspecifically state that the purchase must be made between 9/1/2014 and9/11/2014, and the submission must be postmarked no later than 10/11/2014. Attached is the receipt that [redacted] provided as well as the envelope thatit arrived in which shows a postmark date of 10/18/2014.  The postmark is clearly outside of therequired postmark per the terms and conditions of the offer as shown on theface of the envelope. hear from you for 6 months after the reward was issued and when you were told to expect it.  In that amount of time the promotional offer had expired and been closed by the sponsor of the offer and is no longer available to easily address your long delayed follow up.  We are not responsible for lost mail by [redacted] or if it is lost or misplaced by the consumer.  Also please note with reference to your comment regarding tracking, First class postage does not provide tracking for your reward,  however if you would like your reward sent to you with tracking for proof, we can provide that to you for the cost of the tracking.  To your point we have no proof that you did not, in fact, receive your reward but either misplaced it or lost it and per the terms of the offer; Your right to receive the reward will automatically terminate if you fail to negotiate your reward by the expiration date on it. In an effort to address your delayed follow up to either [redacted] failure or losing/ mis-placing the reward we will work with the sponsor to issue a one time replacement of your reward.  Please allow for 4 to 6 weeks to receive your one time replacement reward.  The replacement will be sent to the following address: [redacted]. We would also suggest that if you are having difficulty with receiving your mail that you follow up with your mail carrier or your local [redacted] representative to address the issue. Thank you for your a patience

LOL! So now you highlight an extremely obvious sheet of paper with yellow highlighter instructions that a 5 year old could follow, then go back to your lying and accusations. Like I said, I have photographic evidence that the UPC's were cut and removed from both products, pictures taken, before they went into the envelope, also pictures of the envelope complete filled out and ready to send in...I already know in advance to do things like this for screw up rebate companies that can't properly process a rebate. Let me know when you're done lying and reading to look at the evidence.

Rebate approved in dec. per CSR at Velocity Fulfillment. Confirmed again by CSR at Velocity Fulfillment on 1/11/16 and 2/3/16 that rebate had been approved. As of 2/14/16 8:45PM Pacific the status at status-now.com (aka Velocity Fulfillment) says "Processing" not "Mailed". Velocity Fulfillment  responded to my complaint on 2/8/16 in which they stated "check number 4702 is in process of mailing to the following address". It is now 6 days later and according to the web site the check has not been mailed. Just to clarify, I am not talking about receiving the check, I am talking about the check just being mailed. It has been 16 weeks since the rebate was submitted and 6 weeks since approval. Not quite the 8-10 weeks stated on the rebate form. Velocity Fulfillment says that they just follow what the rebate sponsor wants. Since it says 8-10 weeks on the rebate form I am assuming that is what the rebate sponsor wants, not 16+ weeks. If and when I receive the check I will gladly consider this complaint closed. That way this whole process is documented and total time to fulfill the rebate will be noted. 16+ weeks and counting.
