Review: Submitted two rebate offers in two mailings for the purchase of a CB from Love's Travel Stops - a Cobra 29 LX LCD 306. And for the purchase of an Astatic CB Microphone 636L. The CB rebate was for $20. The Microphone rebate was for $15. I sent these offers in after making my purchase last Summer of 2015. Neither rebate was sent to me.

I had to follow directions which I did, filled out the rebate form for each item provided by the truck stop. The promotion for CB was #65505. The promotion for microphone was 62216. I included the form for each promotion, clearly and neatly completed, included the original UPC bar code for each item cut from the package of each item, and the original cash register receipts with each item circled as requested.

Note: The Revdex.com needs to list Velocity Fulfillment also as Status-Now as that is their web site name and the form nor web site provides the company's name it has filed with the Revdex.com!.

I purchased these products in good faith and reasonable expectation to receive the rebate checks as promised within 6-8 weeks.

The rebate offers were submitted and postmarked within the required date of the offer as provided to me by the Truck Stop, Love's Travel Stops.Desired Settlement: I want the rebates issued within 10 business days of receiving this complaint for a total of $35 and mailed to:

Note: I believe I found the original debit Visa card that this business uses to issue the rebates for CBs and CB microphones from Loves Travel Centers and other truck stops. The problem is that it does not identify itself as being a card sent as the rebate for the CB and microphone and the amount preloaded on it. The only name at the top said DAS Rebate!! This company needs to be more clear and include a letter with the Card explaining that this is how it issues rebates. I was clearly expecting a cash rebate in the form of a check that I could deposit into my checking account. I'm not sure if I can use the debit card to pay for my utility bills over the phone, etc. It said in the letter card attached no ATM or CASH access! I can't even use this card for a gasoline purchase at the pump. I will attempt to use the new card they issue inside a filling station. When I realized they issue the rebate via a prepaid credit card I looked through my junk mail and found it. But evidently it can no longer be activated. So I will wait for them to send out a replacement card. The card I found said it only contained $20. So apparently two cards were mailed to me. the other one must have been discarded as a credit card offer! I hope they issue one card with the full amount, but if two cards are sent I will use both to purchase gasoline inside the filling station for the amount on each card.

Review: My sister, mother and myself purchased products from Bon-Ton in November that had $30 rebates for each. The rebates were to be completed by Velocity Fulfillment. Each of us live at separate residents and ordered them at separate times. Each of us sent in the packaging slip as well as other documents relating to sale that was needed for the rebate Velocity Fulfillment. The packaging slip that was sent in for the rebate was on the product packaging that had the products UPC code that was needed. All 3 of us sent in the same information. My sister received her rebate check from her Paula Dean purchase. My mother and I have not received ours during the time frame we should have. I contacted www.Status-Now.com aka Velocity Fulfillment and asked why we had not received ours and they stated that they did not receive the product UPS. I faxed over the packing slip again that had the UPC number associated with the product to them for both my mother and my rebate. This was on Thursday, Feb 18, 2016. I spoke with a supervisor this morning in the call center and she stated that, the UPC number they needed was not going to be on the paper but on the box itself. The rules regarding the rebate said they needed the UPC from the product packaging and since this document is part of the product packaging, this is what I submitted. My sister sent in the same exact information and received hers but they would not accept my mothers or mine. We do not have the boxes anymore due to recycling them, however I do have all the paperwork from the purchase as well as the product packaging slip with the UPC on them. The supervisor, whom I will not use a name, would not help me or let me speak to anyone else whom could help me. They literally wanted to find ways not to give you your rebate money from Velocity Fulfillment. .Desired Settlement: I will submit this information again to whomever needs it again at Velocity Fulfillment. I would like to receive my $30 rebate from Paula Dean and my Mother would like to receive hers as well. our tracking numbers are [redacted] and [redacted]. If the company wants the UPC directly off the box itself, it needs to state that. When the product packaging has a slip associated with it that has the UPC code listed on it, that in my mind should be what they need. I also sent them our complete order and showed proof that each of us purchased it. They did not seem like they wanted to help.

We reviewed your record and see that on 3/3, after the time in which you filed this complaint; you were able to provide the proper UPC from the actual packaging. The UPC removed from the box is a requirement from the sponsor of the offer in order to qualify for the offer. The sponsor does not accept the UPC number that is printed on the receipt or the packing slip due to their return policies. Since you have provided the proper UPC for your purchase we have reprocessed your submission as now valid for the offer. Your new tracking id is [redacted].Contrary to what you stated in your complaint, this is not an attempt by anyone to find ways to not give you your rebate reward money. Velocity, as was already mentioned, processes what you submit, we do not determine the requirements to qualify. You simply need to follow the specific instructions and submit what is required in order to show proper proofs of your purchase. If you fail to do so then you simply do not qualify and you are provided an opportunity to correct your error and re-qualify. A UPC removed from the box and submitted as part of the proof of purchase requirements is a very common requirement on rebate reward programs.Since Velocity is merely the processor of your submission, final issuance of your reward is determined by the sponsor of the offer. Please allow 4 to 6 weeks to receive your reward. Thank you

Review: Velocity Fulfillment is the third party organization that is responsible for fulfilling a rebate for Pettit Marine Paints. I purchased a paint with a rebate of this brand and submitted all the required information for the rebate by early June. As of late August, I have yet to see a rebate check. On calling the company, they claimed that my rebate was processed in mid-July and a check sent. They offered to send a replacement check but said it would be another 4 - 6 weeks for them to process it. Any company worth its salt can act faster than that. They just seem to want to hold on to "the money" as long as they can.

When I asked them for the head of customer service and contact information to put my complaint in writing, they refused to give any information other than the name of the company and suggested that I [redacted] them to find out anything more. Interestingly the first thing that appears when you [redacted] them is a list of complaints a mile long on Yelp. No surprise. What is a surprise is that you give this organization an A+ rating. That certainly lowers my confidence level in the Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: 1. To have my rebate check within 10 days, max.

2. To have the Revdex.com review its rating of this organization

If I have not received my rebate check within 10 days, I will report this organization to the Attorney General's Office in my state ([redacted]) as well as to the FTC and the new Consumer Protection Agency.

Review: I ORDERED A ROOM AIR CONDITIONER IN MAY 2015 THROUGH HSN AND IT INCLUDED A $50 REBATE THRU THE ABOVE AND I SENT IN THE REQUIRED INFO FOR THE REBATE IN JUNE 2015 AND WAS TOLD THEY HAD A LARGE REQUEST AND IT WOULD TAKE LONGER THAN ANTICIPATED. I INQUIRED ABOUT THE REBATE AND THEY SAID IT WAS SENT. THEY SAID WHEN I CALLED AGAIN IN SEPTEMBER THAT THE REBATE WAS MAILED IN AUGUST AND THEY WOULD HAVE TO REPROCESS ITS, BUT THAT WAS SEPTEMBER AND I STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED THE REBATE. I BELIEVE THE COMPANY IS A SCAM AND THEY NEVER SENT THE REBATE AT ALL.Desired Settlement: I WANT THE REBATE PROMISED, PLUS COMPENSATION FOR THE TIME I SPENT CONTACTING THEM .
