Review: In two months since joining a Vinesse wine club that offered 6 bottles of wine per month for approx. $80 Vinesse has twice shipped me two CASES of wine that I DID NOT ORDER! In each instance their response was to 1) refuse to acknowledge that the order was an error; 2) refuse to issue a credit; and 3) require that I (at my expense) ship the wine back to them and incur a 15% restocking fee. I can only conclude that either their systems are inadequate or that they are fraudulently shipping wine to customers with the hope that the customers will not fight back and go through the effort to rectify the errors. In either case the Revdex.com (and other consumers) should be aware of the harm that this organization is causing its customers/victims.Desired Settlement: My expectation of a company with a strong sense of customer service would be that they immediately refund the erroneous charge to my credit card and cover the cost of shipping for the return of the wine. An acknowledgement of their error and an apology for the time and expense I have incurred would also go a long way!

Looking further into the matter, we concluded that there was an error when the system generated the order and created two. The account has been issued a full credit in the amount of $173.99. The customer may keep the shipment if he wishes, as this was our error. Thank you.

Review: I received an introductory offer from American Advantage for Vinesse Wine for $41.95, I used my credit card to purchase this item. I later found out that the company withdrew $104.95 from my account. When I found out I made a 3 way call with my banker on the phone,I refuted the charge and I requested a refund the representative told me that once the wine is returned unopened they would refund the monies. I asked the representative what about the return shipping cost and he told me I could refuse the shipment or return it unopened and I would not be charged. When they delivered the shipment they delivered it to a neighbor. I had to take it back to UPS who said I had to pay $16.00. I paid the $16.00 and requested a refund from Vinesse. They have refused to do so. I would like to ask the Revdex.com if they could get them to refund my shipping cost and to expose them for the fraudsters they are.Desired Settlement: I would like the $104.95 re credited to my account, for them to stop sending me promotional advertisement and to refund me my shipping cost of $16.00.

The customer, E[redacted] Thompson, joined the American Cellars Wine Club through an American Airlines promotional offer. After enrolling through this offer, E[redacted] activated the Cabernet Wine Club through her web account on Vinesse.com. No employee has access to her web account, as she creates the account with a personal password and username, which is not relayed to the company employees for security purposes. E[redacted] called to cancel the Cabernet shipment on 9/2/2015 but the shipment had processed the day prior and was shipping to her. E[redacted] spoke to several Vinesse agents that told her to refuse the package upon delivery so she would not endure any costs to her. The shipment was delivered and signed for, and the policy was confirmed by the customer that she would need to return it at her own expense. The shipment was returned and the entire amount of $104.95 was issued back to her bank account. We are not responsible for overdraft fees placed by her bank, as we have issued all monies withdrawn by our company back to the customer. Thank you.
