Review: I applied for an educational credential assessments (ECA) on [redacted] , made the payment and submitted application on September **, 2014. They also required me to post them relevant documents that I did. The documents were delivered to them through UPS on Monday, 10/**/2014 at 11:53 A.M. at the address listed on their site ( World Education Services [redacted]).

Since then, I have no update of what is going on with my application. I tried to call them on ###-###-#### and the automated voice response system says that the status on the documents will be updated within 24 hours of receiving the documents. I have been on hold for more than 30 mins in each call but I never got a chance to talk to their customer representation.

I am in need of the educational credential assessments (ECA) but WES is causing delays.

They did not let me know while I paid that they are busy and will take longer and longer than expected. I have dropped emails to them and the only automated reply I got says that WES will get back to you. I have no other option now on how to contact them and how to get the work done that I needDesired Settlement: Complete the educational credential assessments (ECA)

Review: I have sent my Bachelor certificate to WES to be evaluated. They have evaluated the certificate but I didn't receive the evaluation yet. They said they have send the evaluation 3/**/2014 but until today I haven't received anything. I tried to contact them multiple times with no response.

Review: Hi, My college mailed out two credentials to be evaluated by June [redacted], and they received the package by June [redacted] according to tracking info. They orally confirmed that they received two credentials. However, on system I only requested to evaluate one of them. They sent me an email stating they cannot evaluate it because it is non-formal. There are two problems here, one is they are both sent by same university and has university stamp on it ans sealed off. Second one is, they are saying that they have it but they cannot it evaluate due to non-formal condition. Moreover, when I talked to them as of 8/*/13, they said they cannot evaluate the second one because I need fax and let them know about it. I insisted on to evaluate it and not to send the me one evaluated because that was my original request and they evaluate the wrong one, representative told me to hold on; after a while she came back and said they do not have the second one. I said why they are saying that what they have is non-formal. Then the representative did hang up the phone while I was explaining the situation. So, my guess is they either lost the transcript or wanted to ask for another charge because they evaluated the wrong one. P.S. I also tried to file complaint through company, they did not help me out and no one picked up the phone. I'll glad to provide a more detailed description if requested. I sincerely would like to thank you for your effort, their approach totally has changed after involvement of Revdex.com. However, they haven't still fixed the problem. They promised to resolve the issue by August [redacted]. I'll update you by August [redacted].

Review: I purchased their evaluation package to evaluate my transcripts, certificate of degree (with a reference number: [redacted]). I sent all my documents to them on April [redacted] in one envelope and their website states the whole process will be done in 7-10 business days. However, after checking out their record, only my certificate of degree was received! I talked to their customer service personal (whose attitude is terrible, by the way), she said they only accept transcripts issued from ministry of education in Beijing. This is absurd because in China, the ministry of education does not issue transcripts for college students, they are issued by the college themselves. I tried to explain this to her and she kept repeating, and I quote, "we only accept transcripts from Beijing". I was very angry and requested them to cancel my evaluation. To make me even more angry, they sent an email to me today saying no re-fund and asking for an additional $50 administration fee for just canceling the evaluation which they did not even started! Review: On 12/ ** 12/** , 2014 I submitted HS and college documentation to be accredited; Reference# [redacted] I got in contact with them because my school refer me with them for services. On2 2 /** I received the confirmation of the reception then on 3/ * that few of the items were reject, I send it again and received the same message on 3/**. What they said on regards of the documents is true but I contact them to let them know that it was not possible for me to contact my previous college to have them send over the documents that I have which are original with a seal from the department of education of my country I told them to send forget about college and just complete my HS documentation after I said that they have never got in contact with me or respond to my emails. So this is information is just partially true and all I want is my HS transcript and the rest of the money that correspond to my college transcript; because I was direct to another institution that perform the same work and will take the documents that I already have. What they request the only way that I can have is if I travel to my country and do the request again and for the documents that I already have I paid around $300.00 dollars. I can't afford to paid more or even travel to my country to obtain again this documents.

So they informed me that they will contact my University in Iraq for verification purposes, they didn't!!

Review: This is a valuation company. I applied for a valuation to enable me continue my education. After they received my documents from the university I attended ( [redacted] ) they are informing me that they have sent photo copies to my institution to verify the documents. however it is the same institutions that mailed them the document. efforts to reach them by phone on number [redacted] has never been successful. Besides I informed a friend in Atlanta who also had the same problem with this same valuation company since 2012. when he goes to his status on their web site it indicates waiting for verification. I have paid 360.00 for this valuation. [redacted] realizes that applicants who apply for credential evaluation might be concerned that the institutions that they attended may not respond in a timely manner. In our experience, the large majority of academic institutions including the University of [redacted] furnish documents and verify them on request because they wish to help their graduates and alumni gain international recognition for their credentials. The university of [redacted] has a good rapport with [redacted]. We have not experienced any problems getting verification responses from the University of [redacted]. It may take some time since the universities may have to go back into their archives to verify the copy of credentials that we are submitting for review.

Please be reminded that the applicant signed and agreed to our terms and conditions which states once an application is submitted fees are non refundable.

If the applicant wishes to cancel the file, he will be required to send [redacted] an email agreeing to a $50 administrative processing fee. This administration fee is non- negotiable. In the meantime I will have the evaluator send another verification to the university.

Review: I have sent my education documents to WES, in order for them to perform an evaluation of the said documents. On their website, under requirements, they say that they need copies of original documents. When they rejected my docs, I called and the rep said that they actually needed the originals. I did so, then they rejected them again saying that the apostille is missing. I had sent the documents to Bucharest, Romania, to the Institution that WES has listed on their website (CNERD), and got them apostilled. However, WES sent my docs back to me saying that the apostille is supposed to be a seal, not a stamp, which is what CNERD applied on my docs in Romania, where I requested and paid for an apostille. When I requested to speak to a supervisor or one of the evaluators I was told that they do not speak on the phone, but that I can send them a letter, an email or a fax. In the past, I sent two emails to them, with questions, and they never got back to me. I am disgusted with this company and I am asking them for a refund.Desired Settlement: I would like for them to call CNERD in Romania and have them confirm that they indeed applied those stamps on my docs and that indeed THAT IS the apostille

Review: I had a really bad experience at WES last week. I am from China and I ordered course by course report on Oct.[redacted]. The estimated report issue date was supposed to be Dec. [redacted]. The report was delayed. It was not completed by Dec. [redacted].

I wrote an email on Dec.[redacted] said I wanted to change a school from Johns Hopkins University to Villanova University. To confirm WES receive my email, I called on Dec.** 9AM and WES service rep answered my call. He saw my status and confirmed that my report was not completed yet and he promised to change the University before the report being sent out. He repeated this information twice.

On Dec.** 8PM, I received an email informed me that my report is completed. I logged on WES and found out it was however sent to Johns Hopkins University. I then again called on Dec. ** 9AM to question about this situation. One '[redacted]' answered my phone. He said let me hold on and he will be right back, after about 5 minutes, he hung up on me. I then called again and a lady answered my phone. She insisted that I wrote the University changing letter on Dec.** night which she said the report was completed by then.

Now, did I not know when I write my message? That I fabricated this information and time about when I submitted my letter? I received WES auto message confirmation receiving my email on Dec.** 9PM. How could I possibly wrote an email on Dec.** after the receiving a confirmation mail? I felt extremely disgusted by the fact that she twisted true information and ask me to order another report sent to Villanova.

When I confronted this false information and clearly a misconduct by the customer service representative, first they hung up on me, and second, the representative not only misled but she actually flat out gave false information. I feel extremely disappointed and frustrated with WES.

It is unacceptable and I am now requesting a refund.Desired Settlement: I need a formal apology from WES and refund for my $37 cost of sending an additional report.

Review: WES reference no: [redacted] I'm a customer of and paid for World Education Services(WES) for evaluating educational transcripts as the university needs it. I've sent my educational transcripts from India to World Education Services(WES). The courier was reached to WES on September [redacted],2013. I've opted for a 7 business day service for evaluation and 2nd day delivery of the evaluated report to the recipients. As I have a Bachelors' degree and also a Master's degree from, I've sent all those transcripts to WES. They have received the documents on September [redacted], 2013. But they have changed the status to "Evaluation in Progress" after two days and also stated that the evaluation would be completed by September [redacted],2013. All of a sudden on September [redacted], 2013 (after so much gap) they have again changed the status to "Waiting for required documents", they have mentioned that they need a syllabus/documentation which states the minimum and maximum grades needed to receive the degree. I've replied several number of times almost 100 messages saying the below It is clearly mentioned on the marks sheets itself at the bottom which shows the minimum and maximum grades. and the subjects would be the ones which are mentioned and can be seen on the marks sheets. A credit is awarded to the subject ONLY if we pass that subject. As all the credits were awarded, it means that I've passed the subjects. Also my GPA was mentioned on the marks sheets. Also, admission to university in USA requires only a Bachelor's degree and DOES NOT not require a Master's degree from India . This is completely OPTIONAL and NOT AT ALL REQUIRED. I've just sent them because I have them handy. I've also contacted the university in USA which requires evaluation from WES, even they have mentioned saying that Master's degree is not required and ask WES to send them the remaining report(Bachelor's) Now for this unnecessary thing, they kept my evaluation report on hold and not delivering it to the recipients (i.e the University). Because of this mess created by WES, the deadline was also crossed, and screwed up my admission to the university. I'm lodging this compliant after sending several 100's of messages to WES. I called this several times but , their phone is one in which it has [redacted] answering system and no person never answers a call. Review: In addition to failing to respond to my numerous attempts to contact customer service, both via the online e-mail link and by phone, WES has failed miserably to provide the service I have paid for within a reasonable time-frame.

I ordered a course by course evaluation of my foreign Bachelors degree, the requested documents were received by WES on October [redacted], 2013 for which I was given a reference number. My original documents were returned to me on November [redacted] 2013 and I received them on November [redacted]. I have now waited more than one year during which time the status on my account has shown that WES is waiting on verification.

The website states that the standard processing time is 7 days but that in some cases the evaluation will take longer. I waited three months until I began attempting to contact WES to request additional information relating to the evaluation process. To date I have made literally dozens of attempts to contact WES. I have made phone calls, I have attempted to contact them through the email link provided on the website including my reference number and personal information. As of now I have not had a single follow-up from WES.

My degree has been verified under [redacted] from both the [redacted] and the [redacted] and those documents were provided to WES. The current evaluation status listed on the WES website shows, as it has for at least the last ten months, that they are "Waiting on verification from institution". If there is in fact an issue of my institution being non-responsive then WES has a responsibility to make me aware of this fact so that I can contact my institution myself and insist that they respond. For this to happen, I must know how and when they attempted to contact my Institution.

Furthermore, as this additional step of seeking verification from the institution is a step undertaken by WES only at its discretion, it is in fact then a non-essential step in the process of providing evaluation services. The length of time already elapsed is sufficient for WES to have provided the agreed to service. As such, in this case and in order to complete the process, WES should at this point agree that verification of my degree by both the [redacted] and the [redacted] is sufficient.Desired Settlement: I expect the following

- expedited completion of my evaluation

- an immediate explanation of the current status of my evaluation, including an explanation of what steps if any have been taken and which organizations if any have been addressed in attempting to complete this evaluation

- a full refund if this service cannot be fulfilled by December **,2014 in order that I can pursue a degree evaluation with a conscientious service provider

Review: World Education Services predicted that my documents would be evaluated by their service by July **, 2014 after having already collected payment. It is now July ** and they have yet to provide my documents, or even provide an update as to 1) why document evaluation is delayed 2) when it will be complete. Contacting customer service, I had to wait 30 minutes to speak with a representative, who then informed me that an update request as submitted and it would take 24 hours for a response. This, frankly, is unacceptable, as such evaluation services are frequently used to verify foreign degrees for job seekers. In my case, a future employer is (and has been) waiting over a month for this documentation process to be completed. I now have no understanding of why my application is delayed and when I will receive it, putting my job application in jeopardy.Desired Settlement: An update as to when my documentation will be complete or completed documents in hand, and a partial refund for not meeting deadlines.

Review: We had already filed a complaint with Revdex.com last month Complaint # [redacted].

The response we got from WES was that they will refund me part of the money paid to them, but that never happened.

So I am filing another complaint.

In short - I paid money to WES to validate my transcripts from India. Now my college does not have a process to send transcripts oversees, they only give the students his/her transcripts in person in a sealed envelope. WES wanted a transcript mailed directly by the college. So in the end, no validation was done by WES, and they haven't refunded any money also.

They provided as evidence my online agreement to their terms and conditions, but even if I failed to provide them the transcripts in the form they wanted, they should not charge me for the validation of the transcripts (since no work was done by them).Desired Settlement: I would like WES to refund my money, if not in full, then what they agreed for during the last complaint.

Review: WES has been given ALL of the information which they requested from us (original Portuguese-lang University transcripts, translation of those same transcripts into English, and specific details about the courses on those transcripts, etc). WES has received payment in full (in 3/2015) from us for the delivery to us - of the validated English-translation University transcripts. We have been prudent to call WES *on numerous occasions, to follow-up with why we have still not received (last call before complaint: 6/**/2015) delivery of the promised products we purchased. WES has (over the phone with customer service) been evasive, divisive, and incredibly frustrating to deal with! We have complied with every intricate demand they have made of us, and when we beg for the transcript-product which we paid for months ago, they have hung up the phone on us numerous times; they have falsely directed us to take additional unnecessary steps; they have required us (while on the phone) to mail requests for our purchased products from them ONLY via mail-request; they have done absolutely anything and everything to avoid delivering our products to us! WE HAVE HAD IT! If I do not receive the product by 7/2015, I plan to file charges in court, but not before taking action through this Revdex.com complaint. WES "customer service" is only offered during the most difficult times (10AM - 2PM, M-F), and typical wait times are for 30 - 50 mins. Their whole system is by-design, orchestrated to avoid having to serve their customers, or comply with purchases, or to engage with their customers.Desired Settlement: We need the products we purchased, as promised & in completeness, and for any portion of the products that WES does not fulfill beyond what they deliver, we expect partial refund in conformity with proportionality of what we paid for.

Review: I filled out an application form for document evaluation on april **, 2015 that will not be sent to the company for another 2 months, the company immediately withdrew the money from my account. No information about their policy stating that this will be done on their website at the time I filled out the application. when I called the company the same day I filled out the application and made a complain, I was adviced by one of the company's agent to cancel my application and at this time I was not informed that there would be a cancellation fee. when I called the company back on may * 2015 about the cancellation fee. this was when I was told that the company does have a policy of charging a cancellation fee. there is no where on the company's website were it is stated that there is a cancellation fee. I am been penalized for issues that I did not get the correct inform about. this company did not clearly state their policy and their customers are been penalized for their mistake.

Review: I ordered an evaluation service with WES and clearly they couldn't do it because they asked me to provide documents sent directly from my college where I graduated overseas,

my college does not send anything by mail, so I contacted WES several times and cancelled my order and asked for full refund,

their responses were that I have to confirm the cancellation and confirm the " processing fee " of 30 Dollars, I did,

so far I didn't receive any refund !!!

also no matter what time, they never answer the phone unless you wait at least an hour on the phone !!!

Review: I paid $321 for the WES ICAP service on July 29, 2014, on behalf of my girlfriend, [redacted]. The WES reference # for this order is 2604782. I have not yet received service, despite meeting all their document requirements, 2 phone calls, and 2 emails.

WES has very specific requirements for submission of required documents (official certificates, transcripts, and translations). Diana has submitted all documents as required.

Situation with Documents:

Diana has completed 2 degrees: a BA in Journalism, and a Diploma in Audiovisual Communication.

The WES web site "My Account" page shows that Diana is missing the academic transcripts for the second degree. WES has accepted all other documents that Diana sent.

Diana's university has sent one official transcript and an English translation. The name of the degree shown written on this transcript is "Licenciatura in Periodismo-Diploma in Comunicacion Audiovisual". The first page of the English Translation of the transcript shows "BA in Journalism-Diploma in Audiovisual Communication."

This 1 academic transcript clearly covers both of her degrees. So WES has made a mistake in showing that the transcripts for the second degree, Diploma in Audiovisual Communication, has not been received.

Correspondence to Date:

I sent emails through WES online form on August 12 and August 28. Both times I received an automated message confirming receipt of my correspondence, but no other reply.

I spoke with WES customer service on August 13, and on August 29. In both cases, the customer service was friendly, looked at the documents that had been received, and seemed to understand that a mistake had been made, and told me that the "processor" would evaluate my documents and respond by email shortly.Desired Settlement: Deliver the evaluation immediately! College application deadlines are approaching.

In the meantime, I will assume that what they sent in the mail is the same incomplete report that I downloaded online. Until I actually see a completed evaluation, my complaint is not resolved.
