Timely great service
Chris O. and William arrived today for maintenance to our furnaces and to help resolve our immediate problem of no heat downstairs. They arrived precisely on time, were friendly, professional and respectful to my house full of little kids and a dog. They solved the problem at hand and worked efficiently to resolve it. As Chris performed the maintenance and installation, Will explained the units and their functions/needs in terms that resonated with me and helped me feel more empowered about understanding how my heating system operates. He showed me how to change the air filters on my own. And I was able to ask lots of other questions about my hot water heater and water filtering--they were SO helpful, generous with their time, and I genuinely feel happier and safer in my own home after the service they provided today. We are committed to 20/20 now for heating and cooling. I highly recommend them!
Honesty is
the best policy and we have documented the calls and dates and the system is
out of warranty for Labor only.
The
signatures were only to approve us doing the initial work of beginning the
maintenance at which time he found the following: dirty coils, dirty filter and
seized compressor. This is a mechanical piece of equipment. Maintenance and
repairs are needed from time to time. There is a warranty on the compressor for
5 years through the manufacturer. The only warranty that has lapsed is the
labor warranty.
This
customer is upset because THEY CHOSE to schedule their maintenance after the warranty
date as it had been working in May.
Our
company policy is to uphold all warranties. We also offered her an additional
10% off for the labor.
When we were at the home the Air Handler was on and the thermostat was set to cool. It could have been turned off in the meantime but there were numerous issues with the system one of which was a compressor. At this time we can no longer address this issue or service this customer as the...
stories are not consistent and she has threatened us. There will be no refund at this time as we did not charge her anything when we came out. We wish her the best with her unit and her repair company

I am rejecting this response because: You keep saying tat the system was not installed up to code. I am saying it's safe to operate... So I think it is time to ask a third-party company to step in.So my suggestion is this:I will ask another company to perform the annual tune-up on my system. If the company performs the tune-up, this will demonstrate that the system is safe to operate and your company agrees to refund the fee you charged me for the trip, AND reimburse me the tune-up fee charged by the third party company. If the third-party comes up to the same conclusion like your company - that the system is unsafe to operate, I will withdraw my complain.Agreeing to this offer will show Revdex.com that you are a reputable company with technicians that can diagnose a system in a similar way with other technicians from the trade.
Sincerely,
Petru Micu

I am rejecting this response because:
The business is not accurately reflecting the facts. They are obviously trying to cover themselves.
When they called to schedule, I told them I was traveling in April and May and June was better. Since it was a brand new system , I assumed there would be no problems and June would be better for my schedule. That's it. No one was insistent about anything. It was a matter of convenience. She said the schedule was wide open so saying they get booked doesn't make sense. I assume she had my account in front of her. It is good business policy to look out for your customer and let me know what they have on file regarding our service policy. Shame on them for taking advantage of the customer or at least not looking out for then.
Furthermore, I told the technician I should not sign for service given he could not service and fine tune a system (that they installed 2 yrs ago) that apparently no longer functions. He said I had to sign. I did so since I was alone and there is not much I could do. I certainly did not throw him out. In fact, he used my restroom and asked for a glass of water which I gladly provided. Clearly they are trying to cover for themselves and flip it around. Shame on them again. Let's be honest here.
No apology as well for technician leaving the water on the outside faucet all day. The water seeped into the basement. Appalling customer service and no offer to clean up or rectify his mistake.
Lastly, my husband reminded me we used the air in May and it worked fine. Calls into question what the technician did while he was here ? We have another quality, reputable company coming to service the system and will follow up with details.
Let's stick to the facts and stop making things up. Honesty is the best policy.
Sincerely,

Sean is a perfect gentleman and a very knowledgable serviceman. He was attentive to my home. He wore shoe covers before entering my home, explained all of the services he was performing and some recommendations for future repairs and, in general, answered all my questions and concerns aptly. I am satisfied with his service and am happy he was called upon to do the maintenance. I would recommend 2020 Air to my neighbors and have them request Sean as their service provider.
The technician that came to our house to diagnose the problem with our A/C was polite, professional, and thorough. He introduced himself, took care to respect my house by putting shoe coverings on, returned everything he had worked on to it's original conditions, was clear and thorough in explaining his findings and answering my questions. He did not pressure me or sway me in any direction to make any one particular decision and helped schedule a follow up appointment with the office for further estimates.
Very efficient. Thorough in checking all aspects of the air conditioning unit. Highly recommended.
Sean B was courteous, knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. He answered all our questions and concerns. We would give him a 5 star review.

I am rejecting this response because: as I have stated before we were offered 3 options. It was our belief that if we chose to do certain things and techs agreed that performing the work would fix the issues. We chose to replace the capacitor, clean the condenser,do the a/c clean and check and fill the refrigerant. If they knew this wouldn't work why did they do the job?As I have said before I am willing to pay for some work performed in good faith,I believe we were taken advantage of on a warm day.
To use their example,an ethical mechanic would not replace just one flat tire knowing full well and good the car is not going to work while still having two more flats.Knowing what I know now no work should have been done.
Sincerely,

Two years ago, in June of 2014 we bought two split AC units from 20/20 through [redacted] which offered them as reliable installers for the units. One of the units failed right away and it took them over a month to replace through the warranty which ended for both units at the end of June 2016.
On Thursday night July 23 2016 the unit stopped cooling the family room. I put in a service call, and got the answering service. 20-20 returned the call Friday morning and told me they could not get to do the service until Monday between 12 and 4, sooner if I was willing to pay $190 for the technician to come on Saturday.
Finally on July 25 the service person arrived at around 6 PM. He immediately diagnosed the problem as a low refrigerant plus a leak problem, and proceeded to give us the choices available to solve the problem. He told us that the recommended solutions had a 60% chance of working. This involved applying a stop leak product for which I was charged $290.00 plus $458 for putting the refrigerant, which includes 1 pound of it, plus $42.00 for an additional pound.
They charged us about $800.00.
We were told that the refrigerant was expensive, the same with the stop leak product. I looked around and found for the stop leak products a number of options for less that $30.00 ([redacted]/MRL-3-R-134a-Super-Seal-Conditioning/dp/B004H8V0QY), and for the refrigerant found for 25 pounds of refrigerant a value of about $150.00, (see https:/[redacted]/R410a-Refrigerant-cylinder-factory-sealed/dp/B008OOXJMA/ref=sr...⇄ /> I understand the fact that there is labor involved. The service man took about 10-20 minutes in applying the stop leak and adding refrigerant.. The rest of the time was briefly discussing the price of solutions and his experiences and future ambitions. I told the company 20-20 that I thought their pricing was outrageous. Their answer was to say that they were number 1 in service. Also they never provided the other part that the service man said was covered by the warranty. The AC unit now does not show status of what it is doing.
I was grossly overcharged. Many people that I mentioned this to have told so, including a [redacted] dealer at [redacted] trying to sell their AC, that it is so.
I had a great experience with 20/20 Air. Specifically Sean B. There were other AC repair technicians that came over and were unable to even diagnose the problem. 20/20 Air was able to diagnose and repair the problem in the same day when the other guys wouldn't even attempt to fix it. Very professional and courteous.
To Whom it May Concern:
When we arrived at Mr. [redacted] home on 8/19 we found the system working marginally. We offered 6 reccomendations to get the system up and running. Mr. [redacted] chose to do ONE of the items. This did not...
completely fix the system so he called us back the next day to do another item which did not completely fix the problem either. The technician bundled many of the repairs for a discounted price and explained that he bundled them as they all needed to be done in order to get the system running properly. He chose to bandaid the system which did not work.
If you have 3 flat tires and only replace 1 you still have two flats and the car will roll but not well.
At thsi time we will not be refunding any money as the work has been done and approved.
Thank you
I had my heating/cooling system serviced by Sean B. today. As with every other 20/20 Air employee I have encountered, he was very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. He made some suggetions for a problem I was having and took care of it very promptly, in addition to performing the seasonal maintenance service .

I am rejecting this response because their response was to say that ;they were business to make a profit; their adjustment by ;the way did not work so I basically wasted money for nothing---and I think that [redacted] air conditioning should be made aware of how their customers are treated once they install a system and maintenance is turned over to Air Net. Air Net advertises all the time on billboards--they definitely take advantage of customers, do shoddy work and over charge. As I mentioned in a previous email Petro heating ac is advertising $ 149 for a system tune up including filters, etc.---what did I get for the $400 I was charged except attitude? A job poorly done and not even done right.
Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because:
This is absolutely untrue. We did not touch the unit as instructed by 20/20 air. We left it as it was when their technician left. When [redacted] arrived they found the air handler switched off and thermostat off upstairs as it was left (That is set to off). This is documented in the service call report. The only inconsistency is with 20/20 air who said the compressor was broken and the air system was not working. They told us not to use the unit and pay them to replace it. When [redacted] came they found everything to be working. Where is the incinsistency on our part? 20/20 air insisted the unit they installed per their specifications was not working and was not under warranty. The error is on the part of 20/20 air for claiming the system was not working when it was. There are not multiple problems per the 20/20 rep, only one. Their technician.
Sincerely,

To Whom It May Concern;
On 12/28/2013 we were at Mr.s Grisby's home and did a clean and check of her system at which time we did address some options with her regarding code and safety issues. She was not interested in moving forward with any of the work.
Since that...
date our office has been in touch with her numerous time regarding other quotes that she had requested from us. At no time did she mention any issues with her system or questions regarding her last service. On 3/13/2014, two and one half months later she called wanting us to send another tech for free. We explained that we can not send someone for free to her home. We did ask that if she had something in writting from the other company we might be able to help her more and see what we could explain. Our warrenty for service is 30days. We always want the customer to be happy and if there was something we did wrong or missed we would be glad to send someone out. Our policy as she was explained that even at 2.5 months later we would be willing to send someone out to look at the situation and review the paperwork with her for our diagnostic/travel fee. If it was our error it would be waived, if not she would be charged. She declined, demanded it be free and hung up on us.
12/28/13 - $99 clean and check of system-reccomendation declined at that time (code and safety issues)
3/13/14 - called to demand a free visit based on new information from another company that we are unable to verify.
Thank you! Please let us know if you need any additional information.

FRANK WAS VERY COMPETENT AND FRIENDLY. DID AN EXCELLENT JOB LOOKING OUT FOR MY INTERESTS KEEPING MY CONDO CLEAN. WAITED A WHILE TO SEE RESULTS OF REPAIRS. MORE THAN SATISFIED AS HE DIDN'T TRY TO SELL ANYTHING NOT NECESSARILY NEEDED AS SOME HAVE TRIED. RATING BELOW IS REFLECTIVE OF THE BUSINESS, AS THEY CAN BE PRICEY, NOT FRANK WHO WAS EXCELLENT..
