I went to my local gym to become a member. 24Hour Fitness had sent me a membership offer, $44.99 month no new member fee and no commitment. After finding the manager and having some discussion about only wanting THIS offer, during the process of signing membership paperwork (the contract I'll be responsible for) I became uncomfortable with signing an electronic signature pad without knowing or seeing what I was signing. When I asked Zachary, the manager, to show me what I'm signing, he asked if I thought he would be dishonest. I told him it had nothing to do with him, I wanted to see what I'm signing. He then became verbally offensive and I stopped the membership process immediately stating that I did not want to be a member any longer. All of this was done at the front desk in view of everyone. I later spoke with a different gentleman who apologized for how I was treated.

Why is it that 24 hr Fitness can allow new customers to join on a Saturday or Sunday but when you want to cancel the membership they require a manager to do the paperwork (only Monday thru Friday)? And by the way, why isn't it possible to do it online! As far as the showers and bathrooms are concerned, our public beaches (& state prisons probably) have better up keep. Last gripe: Our family purchased dozens of training sessions through the years but when the last trainer we used left the job before completing all sessions, it took us weeks of complaining until we were given the last sessions that were owed to us. I'm glad to be rid of this place finally - well on Monday when the computers/managers become available to process the cancellation...

I am very disappointed with this company and the people working for it. I felt like was dealing with thieves when trying to resolve an issue originated by one of its employees.

I was very specific when I signed back to join the club: " I need a month to month membership because I am moving out of this area in a few months ". Still The employee, Jonathan, signed me out for a 12 months commitment without my concent and made feel like I was able to cancel at anytime without any problems.
I found out about my commitment when I tried to cancel my membership. They couldn't help me and the told me to call the corporate office to resolve my issue. I spent more than 2 hours explaining my issue and I was told that they were sorry for the employee mistake but I have to pay to get out the contract.
They recognized that the employee did the wrong thing but still I have to pay to brake the contract.
I had requested to talk to the managers from the club but not answers from them. ( left messages with Noah)
I emailed Cole , club manager , so he can called me back but still no answer.
I haven't issues with money but I hate thieves and I want my Money back.
I work in a financial institution and I am sharing my feelings against 24 hours fitness until the company fix my issue correctly.
I paid for using the facilities but misleading sales reps and their training.
