This business is morally criminal in my opinion and I find it hard to believe that the federal government would allow these monsters to operate a business that takes such advantage of Americans when they need help the most.

  Dear...

Sir / Madam,   Please allow this to serve as a formal response to the complaint sent on March **, 2015 on 3G Collect, LLC, business complaint ID [redacted]. We firstly would like to apologize for this late response to the complaint.   The complaint filed by [redacted] states that she accepted a collect call from her husband on March **, 2015 but she was unable to hear him so the collect call ended rather quickly.  We reviewed this account and can see that the call only lasted 19 seconds so we went ahead and issued a courtesy credit to this account.  This account is now closed and nothing is due at this time.   We apologize again for the late response and are sorry for any inconveniences this may have caused [redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I stated that I heard my sons name and gave mine but that is it. The call was dropped I never heard anything about charges or what the call was even about. It was an unintelligible automated voice. My son did not use your service to get through to me as I have stated before the call was dropped. My son called on a borrowed patients cell phone. Yes I have used your contact link available on your web site but no response. I have tried to call numerous times to no avail all the prompts direct me to issue a credit card which I will not do. The calls and texts are harassing and I have tried to block everyone of them but the next day another text and call from a seemingly endless supply of numbers. I did state my desired outcome in the original complaint which I will paste here

I want the charges dismissed and I want the harassment of the calls and texts to stop as they are disrupting my life. I'm disabled and the stress is putting a further strain on my health.

Dear Sir / Madam:   Please allow this to serve as a formal response to the complaint sent on March **, 2015 on 3G Collect, LLC, business complaint ID [redacted]. We firstly would like to apologize for this late response to the complaint.   The complaint filed by [redacted] states that she needs her authorization code for the collect call that she authorized so that she can pay her bill.  We would gladly provide this information but unfortunately  the phone number listed on the complaint is not in our system (we can only look up accounts by the phone number in which the collect call was made to and authorized by).  If [redacted] can please provide us with the phone number in which she authorized the collect call on we can look up the account and get back to her promptly.   Due to our delay in responding to this complaint [redacted]'s account most likely acquired late fees.  We will waive any late fee's that may have been applied to her account from the time she made the complaint to today.  Once we have her phone number we can verify her balance and provide her with all the information she needs to pay her bill.   Again we would like to apologize for our late response to this complaint and we are very sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused [redacted].     Regards,     3 G Collect, LLC Customer Relations

Review: This company's practice are in violation of federal laws that explicitly prohibit what they are doing. I have written them a cease and desist letter asking them not to continue to call and/or text me. They received the registered letter and still continue to call and harass me. I asked them to only correspond with me by mail. I asked them to send me written proof of the charges they claim I owe by mail. I asked them to provide information they are not in violation of federal law. None of these requests have been met and they continue to call and text. I have receive a total of 47 text messages in a 21 day period and approximately 20 calls. About half of the texts messages are between 12:00am and 5:00am. My number is register on the National Do Not Call list. This company does not seem concerned with breaking any laws in their attempt to make money.Desired Settlement: I would like this company to honor my requests and provide written verification of any charges they claim I owe. I would like them to cease calling my cellular phone. I will strongly consider legal action in the near future if these calls continue and my requests are not met.

[Your Answer Here]

This business will not allow you to view an invoice without agreement with their terms - which I do not agree with. Furthermore, I have sent a certified letter asking them to send me a paper statement proving their claims and to stop communication with me other than via mail. They have failed to honor either request even though I believe they may be legally obligated, at least on one account. I have also requested proof their tactics aren't in violation of federal laws in regard to their use of prerecorded messages which I hear they use. They petitioned to have the law changed to be in line with their tactics, but from what I have read they were unsuccessful. Not surprising that they do not seem to think they should be required to honor my request since they do not feel like they need to adhere to federal laws. Anyway, I changed my number, so call as often as you like.

Review: I have never heard of this company. All of a sudden on Aug. [redacted] I started getting SMS text messages for this company called 3g collect stating I owed $19.63. The text would come in from [redacted]. At first I thought it was error test message or just a spam text. Then I continued to get the text messages daily along with phone calls from an automated voice machine asking me to make a payment. I have been receiving daily phone calls from ###-###-####. It is an automated voice machine asking for payment. I continued to get SMS text from the the 3G collect company daily. The same text advising payment of 19.63. I email the company at 3GCollect, numerous of times asking what this company was and why they continued to call me and text me. I felt as if it was fraud and I ask to speak with a live person. It would take 3 days for them to reply to my email, there would not be any contact information in which I was recieving the email from. It only stated these are charges for a voicemessage that was delivered to your phone. I responded very upset and explained that I have cell phone service through AT&T and I have free voicemail service, so I would never pay to listen to a voice mail. I continued to get phone calls and SMS messages from this company. I contacted my cell phone carrier which is AT&T and informed them of this situation. They looked up 3G collect and said there have been numerous of complaints filed against its company for scam and fraud. They assured me that they do not provide cell phone numbers to this 3 G collect company and do not know how they got my number. At that time AT&T set up an account to block 3 G collect from sending me harrassing SMS text. However I still have been receiving daily phone calls from the automated voice message system for 3 G collect. Which is the ###-###-#### number. They are now advising my account is past due and now the charges have went up from 19.63 to 38.00. They are also advising they have sent my account to collections. I am very frustrated and feel as this is a huge scam, as I have never in my life paid to listen to a voicemail. I am not sure how they received my phone number. I have good credit and I want to make sure this company, whoever they are does not ruin my credit over a service that I did not use. I emailed the company on numerous of occasions requesting to speak to a live person and they never would respond with a contact number. When I called the Revdex.com of New your they provided me with ###-###-#### and ###-###-#### as numbers listed for the 3g collect company. When you call those number they are disconnected. I also googled and did research online for this 3 G collect company and there are several blogs about how this company is a scam and fraud. I need this to be investigated as soon as possible as I feel this company is involved in a huge scam and idenity theft, and right now I feel like a victim, as I dont know if this is ruining my credit or not. I am also continuing to receive the harrasing calls.Desired Settlement: I want this company to stop contacting me and to assure that I don't have any balance that was sent to collections. I don't know what this company is nor have I ever used its services. So they need to clear whatever account balance they are saying I owe and stop harassing me. I want confirmation that this has been resolved and I have not been sent to collections.

Response:

Dear Sir / Madam,

Please allow this to serve as a formal response to the complaint sent on September [redacted] on 3G Collect, LLC, business complaint ID #[redacted].

The complaint filed by [redacted] states that she is being charged for a collect call voice mail that was sent to her cell phone. In reviewing her account it does appear that [redacted] accepted the message on August [redacted] as we have her voice authorization (as well as the caller's voice recording. Caller's name was [redacted]). Our company does offer the caller the option to leave a voice message should the person they are calling collect do not answer. The receiver would need to make a voice authorization to hear the call which they would then be charged for. [redacted] did so and that is why she was receiving text messages stating she owed $19.63.

In reviewing [redacted]'s account we see the call only lasted 10 seconds and we have issued a credit to her account. We apologize also for any inconvenience e this may have caused her as it sounds like she tried to reach out to us to resolve this matter prior to her Revdex.com complaint. We are very sorry that we were unable to take care of her request at the time. We have since cleared her account and nothing is due at this time.

Thank you.
